DO NOT USE Reliable and Safe Transport. A more suitable name for this company would be Unreliable, Unprofessional and Noncompassionate Transport. I am a nurse who was to accompany a Cerebral Palsy child who has a Tracheotomy, is on a ventilator, oxygen, has, feeding tube and a multitude of special equipment in tow to a specialized doctor appointment. The Driver of Reliable & Safe Transport “SD” could not wait an approximate 5 minutes for the patient to be switched to his to go ventilator and oxygen for safe transport. The Driver pounded on the front door. Upon opening the door she snapped. “Is the patient ready? He has to be ready!” We explained we just had to switch him over to his to go equipment and would take about 5 minutes to do so. Upon walking out the door toward the van, I saw the transport van backing up. I yelled out to the driver who looked at me and speed away. I immediately called to the dispatcher of Reliable and Safe Transport who hung up on me. The Reliable and Safe dispatcher then lied and reported to Logisticare the driver waited 20 minutes and patient was a no show. The driver was well aware of the equipment required to transport this particular patient. The driver presented as rude and abrasive. The dispatcher was defensive and dishonest. DO NOT USE Reliable and Safe Transport! One star was given because zero stars was not an option.
