For my first time ever going to an area temp agency, the staff there were very professional and quick with the interview. I highly reccomend this agency if you are on the search for employment. Plus, they make it there very best to search for the job that best fits you and meet your requirements.

I have never seen more rude people. Like they are put out by you for them to do their job. I have never been treated so poorly. I would never recommend them to anyone. Someone helping people to find a job should probably have attributes such as compassion and a positive attitude. The only person who had that was Gail. The woman at the front desk is especially in need of an attitude adjustment and also others I interacted with. If you dont like your job, find a new one. Something probably ly not in customer service.

These women are very rude for no reason that work here. They come off nice but over the phone but when you disagree with them about anything they get offensive. Not reccommed to anyone trying to seek employment.

Recruiters NEVER call back or respond back to you. I’ve called plenty of times and NEVER received a callback after leaving multiple voicemails.

Im super happy about going through Area Temps in Lakewood.Im starting out at $12.50 a hour..Very Nice..All the office ladies where helpfull in regards to the paperwork involved. But Ms Jenna really went out of her way to get me set up at a job I want..They got me a job the day I came in!! I started the next day.. I just finished my first week..Thanks to all at Area Temps in Lakewood...

I was told I’d be called by Monday with an assignment and nothing. I called Lakewood where I did a interview and got a work ID just to leave a message an still not get a call I called the assistant manager on his direct number ( he gave me his card ) just to answer and instantly hang up . I understand if your interviewing someone but how about take care of the people already due process? SameFor all other locations called in with no response they all send you to a representative that don’t answer their phones or reply! I’ll be finding my own work no longer interested and will be getting my info taken off file immediately. VERY POOR SERVICE

I had an interview with Lakewood Area Temps being a recent college graduate. I was given a card and they took my photo along with my direct deposit information. I applied for administrative and business professional job roles but the text alerts I receive are for manual labor the exact opposite of what I wanted. When I did see a position I want via email to accept, I called in to accept it and I was then transferred to a recruiter. The recruiters never answer the phone and when you leave a voice mail they respond days to weeks after you left a voicemail. What a waste of time!

I’ve emailed these people I’ve went in person I’ve called and at first they phone wasn’t working then when I finally get in touch they keep telling me someone is going to call me about a job and then nobody ever calls me back they send jobs in email for immediate hire tell you to reply with email phone number and do not call you and constantly send out the same job but never contact me ..

Called up there to see if I can do a walk in application, online or do I need to make an appointment. Simple question right that any receptionist or secretary can answer her response was Excuse me in a real nasty tone so I repeated myself and she sighed and said put it in after 2 o’clock and hung up on me. So it’s safe to say I won’t be going there, why would I want to work for a company who clearly has an attitude problem I can see it being a problem when it comes down to asking her questions, I can’t tolerate rude a-s people.i didn’t want to give them a star but it won’t let u post your comment unless u do.

Micheal and Nacy are very nice and caring people they work with you and are very helpful and finding you work that fits your availability I’ve been with them for years they never let me down 😇

Michael failed to read an email completely and relay a message that my assignment was complete, after giving my notice. He also failed to read and relay a message to an employee I was working with at GLDirect. I showed up to work to find out I wasn’t scheduled the rest of the week, was very rude and inconsiderate. I would not waste my time again on this temp service. Very rude, inconsiderate and no professional! I’d give it no stars if I could.

Great experience with them...i had a gap in my work history which prevented immediate placement..not on area Temps end but the Temp to hire employer ...my agent is Jessica out of the Lakewood office..she was terrific and really worked diligently to place me...the personnel at the Parma office werent very cordial but could have been a bad day...everyone I came in contact with at the Lakewood office were very professional, cordial and treated me swell...please dont throw a brick at all area temps....try another..

They never call back after leaving a message. If some does decide to answer the phone when I call Ill be lucky if they dont seem rude and in a rush to get me off the phone.plus its been over a month since Ive had an interview and still havent received any employment whatsoever. And some of the people there seemed rude and felt like I was talking to an AI. Even after applying to a few jobs on their website I still get nothing. Shouldve never wasted my time.

I was contacted by the branch manger who found my resume on indeed and who told me about a position that would be 90 day temp to hire. Me being 37 and a college graduate with a BS in Business Administration Immediately turned the position down givien my background experience in manufacturing and management the branch manager figured this would end up being a great opportunity for me to move forward. I was told that Area Temps had a successful relationship with the employer Foseco in Brookpark. With that being said I decided to do the interview being I reside in the Akron area this was quite a commute. After the interview of course the company wanted to move forward with me. They had me believing yes this could be an amazing opportunity with room to grow. There never was a job description nobody was educated on exactly what needed to be done The company stopped hiring production personnel the one supervisor who was well educated is quitting in May. The company itself is just problematic I was lied too by the staffing agency and HR dept.’’ Everyone knew that this was never to be a full time position. Totally a huge inconvenience on my end. Area Temps just puts bodies with employers, they don’t care. You couldn’t pay me to call them and ask for anything

Fake as usual. They give you a card, take a picture and let you wait. Almost a year later, no job...

Pretty awful experience so far. No one ever picks up and phone to answer questions. Seems like they send out emails but do not follow up. And if you call to follow up because its a position you greatly wish to interview for... once again, no one answers or returns phone calls.

Man, oh man... Just about the worst temp service youll ever come across. Theyll tell you that theyre looking for a job for you but its sure enough a lie. They, as well as a bunch of other Temp Services, will flat out lie to you and say theyll put your name at the top of the pile when you call asking for an update. I have worked a few jobs under them. One was a warehouse where youre underpaid, but youll get quite a bit of overtime. (Orlandos). Problem is theyre as close to you get to 3rd world standards as you can get. Long work hours, building isnt temp regulated so youre gonna freeze in the winter or burn in the summer. A lot more about this dysfunctional place, but i wont go more into it since this review is about Area Temps.Other jobs they offered were hire whenever, fire whenever... Even if you do good on your assignment, your fate is still in their hands, so you cant think youll work your way in all the time. Its just really up to them. I recently decided to look back to them for a temp job since they tend to always staff you with these projects... I got a text alert from them offering an $8.50 an hour job. I told my recruiter i found a job with another Temp service a week before, but tried to look for some money in the mean time while they processed my application. My recruiter told me they thought i said i found something, and i explained the situation. They proceeded to say well this job is for people who really wanted a full time position. Smh. So we cant cant them for temp work but they can assign us temp jobs, and that was an $8.50 an hour job, mind you. The alerts i get on my phone are said. 8.50 - 9.50 per hour for most jobs. And im not even going to add where i get the texts where they (unknowingly) send alerts probably of the same job at different pay rates. DONT. DO. IT.

This place is a jokeI went in on a Friday my car broke right before my appt I had the shop get my car I got a bus and went to my interview I explained to her my car just broke wasnt sure if it would be finished on Monday that was fine at the time I did offer to take a bus to work ( oh no no no you cant do that they donot want you on a bus you have to drive in if your car isnt fixed please just call me I agreed On Monday my car wasnt done the shop said it would be Thursday because they ordered parts well that wasnt good enough for the lady she was rude and nasty and told me they wouldnt use me anymore. So now I have the BBBC investigating because first its fine just to contact her then she gets all bipolar and yells and screaming not professional at all

What a waste of my time! I went through the whole process and NOT once did they contact me about any jobs in my field/salary range. Totally unprofessional! The guy that I met with at Area Temps told me that he had gotten a DUI within the first 5 minutes of the interview process. If you need a job that pays

This place doesnt like to call people back when a message his left in their office. Eventually I did get a phone call back two weeks later when I was able to get a job on my own.

1.9 stars says it all!!! Big waste of time and gas! I had to apply at the Mayfield location and I live in Lakewood. Filled out hours of paperwork, was hired and given an identification card with my photo. They got all my bank account info for direct deposit of all the money Id be taking in. Was told that a meeting with the employer would be set up for the following day. Well its been 8 weeks with no response from area temps and the job is still available and listed as an immediate hire! What a joke this place is!!!!! I only gave it 1 star because I couldnt post this without giving at least 1 star. SHOULD BE ZERO STARS!

Very negative experience all around with Area Temps. I saw a job posted on their web site, submitted a Resume. Received a response requesting I come in for an interview. I came in for the interview (two days before xmas) and was told the company would make its decision after the holidays. In the meantime I went on assignment through ANOTHER AREA TEMPS OFFICE on New Years Eve. I called the original office on Jan 6th because I had not heard anything regarding the original position I had applied for. I was told that I was not considered for the position because office #2 has my file locked with their office as under assignment. To make matters worse, my pay from the assignment was/is placed on some paycard which I stated at the beginning I didnt want. Furthermore the original position IS still listed on the website with a posting date of Jan. 6th...? Hmmmn makes me wonder.
