I normally wouldnt associate getting my wisdom teeth pulled out with a positive experience, but the staff at SmileCare made it so. Dr. Kim was awesome through the entire procedure, as were the dental assistants. The shining star was definitely Nara the office manager. She made sure everything with my paperwork was in line to ensure I had nothing to worry about (I was a referral and new patient). I was so impressed I decided to switch to SmileCare Lakewood for all my dentistry needs, and a big part of that was definitely Nara.

I am so pleased with the dental work I received at the SmileCare in Lakewood, CA. The dentist was very gentle and understood that I was nervous. He took his time and made sure I felt comfortable before he started his work. The office manager is wonderful and they do no keep you waiting too long. This is a great office to visit. I came back so many times to finish my work and it is always a great experience each time.

Smile care dental is awesome. The office management Norah is amazing. She helped me save money and get the proper procedures i needed. If you have any problems she will be there with you to help get things sorted out with your insurance provider. So if you are looking for a office that cares with great dental staff go there.

This dentist....hands down THE BEST Ive had in years. I was with Western Dental for years and after I had my first baby, I went back for an appointment and everything changed. Kinda felt like I wasnt a patient anymore, but just another customer to them. I wasnt treated with that gentle, easy going attitude that I had when I was a kid. So I made a plan to change dentists, especially for my kids sake. Looking through Yelp (I find it easier to read through tons of opinions instead of making countless visits individually) I came across OCG and every single review was different of course, but they all had one thing in common. They all mentioned how cared for they felt once they came here. And thats what my #1 was that I was looking for. As a person who fears even the thought of going to the dentist, I felt a sense of relief knowing that others with the same fear, had zero issues after they came here. So I switched dentists, made an appointment and honestly havent had a single complaint. They treat you with SO much generosity, respect, and they acknowledge your fears and worries. They also take the time to explain everything to you, and even help you by providing solutions financially if you need them. Theyre gentle with the kids and even give them a little treat afterwards. Im thankful that I found them close to home and its walking distance. Definitely going to be staying with them!

I love the New doctors here they are very detailed and helpful but if it wasnt for the New Office Manager Nora I believe her name is I would have left she help me with my billing issue within a matter of minutes which the old manager said she handled. The old manager was rude disrespectful and unorganized. HOWEVER the upgrade to the staff makes this place SHINE... I would recommend this office to everyone....💙

I came in with an open mind because my teeth is outdated and I spoke to front desk Nara and she was awesome and she made me feel comfortable and safe. I think I never felt that happy in awhile, especially a dental. Super satisfied!!!

I recently switched Dentists to Smile Care. I hoped it was at least a better environment than my last dental location. I travel over an hour for my dental visit and it is well worth the trip! From the minute I walked in to the office I was greeted by almost every associate that I saw, with positive upbeat attitudes. The office alone is beautiful, unlike anything Ive ever seen before. Very spacious, comfortable, and jam packed with a giant television and magazines to make the short wait even quicker. I will NEVER go to another dentist, it simply wouldnt compare! Thank you for making my smile whole again. 6 out of 5 stars.

This is by far my favorite dentist. Perfect deal I come here for my general and ortho. Maybe they take a while to get actually started but its worth the wait . Theyve treated me always with GREAT service from Erica and Anna. Also whoever actually gets to work on my teeth with great delicacy and care how I feel. But very incompetent when the patients need them. Im paying $4000, so, yes I consider a broken bracket an emergency. And yes my orthodontist should have a plan in place to put a new one on right away.They cancel my appointments without telling meThey have given me appointments where they book twice as many people on that same slot and have me waiting for hours.The dentist had an emergency and left .... Instead of being courteous and letting me know the dentist was gone, and maybe reschedule they had me in the lobby waiting for over 3hours!!!! Then they thought I was rude because I express that my time was valuable to me.Take your hard earn money somewhere else, because while they can be personable at time .... They dont accommodate patients need. if hadnt signed a contract I would.On the bright side the technicians in the back are fun to talk to.

The office staff at this location are very friendly and professional. Nara, Marium, Mike, and Arvi are always so accommodating and helpful with appointment scheduling and knowledgeable at answering my questions/concerns. Im a very busy person so it makes me happy that this office is open after 5pm on some days and even on Saturday.

Pleasantly pleased. My Hygienist Paulette was great. She gave me a gingivitis cleaning today that felt more like a tooth massage. I didnt feel any pain or uncomfortableness at all. On top of that shes a hell of a saleswomen. She pitched two teeth whitening processes to me and was completely upfront and honest about both. Thats a rarity. She also threw in some paste to help with the discomfort and some mouthwash to also help with the discomfort and the process overall. I had no plans of buying anything when I walked in there lol. Mike was also a pleasant meeting. He advised me on the correct options to go with and also told me the negatives and positives of each. Even explaining his own situation that he had dealt with. He also, made sure my temporary caps were as comfortable as possible. Id run out of characters in this post if I actually tried to express all the good feelings and vibes I get from visiting this dental office. The office manager Nara, was beyond helpful. She explained everything regarding my insurance and she also answered every question I had. She was informative, professional and accommodating. On top of all that, shes gorgeous. Always pleasant to walk into an office and see a beautiful human being whos also very helpful. Dr. D I cant say enough about. He and his assistant made sure I was comfortable the entire time during my cleaning and root canal preparation. They too was very informative and very professional. Dr. D had one of, if not the most relaxing approches yet. Hes worked on me twice and I have yet to feel a single second of pain or discomfort. This Dental office is special.

Dr.Lee is my orthodontist! And hes pretty great! :) would definitely recommend him!! Hes very thorough in explaining the treatment thats about to be done and hes really nice.The front desk staff is pretty awesome aswell!They explain everything and greet you when you walk in.The only con is that the area isnt the best in the world, so I usually try to make day appointments.So realistically this place would be a full 5 stars if it was in a different location, I only put 5 because theres not a .5 type of star system.So thats a 4.5 for me.

This is my second time going to this group, I have been to 2 of there offices and both time I made an appointment for 9am and both time they just had me sitting there waiting not telling me anything. After 50 minutes of waiting which puts the time at 9:50am I asked the receptionist how much long it was going to take because I had to take time off of work both time to make this appointment. The receptionist responded I wouldnt be seen for an additional 30 minutes. So I ask why schedule an appointment for 9am if I wasnt going to be seen till after 10am. She responded say there panels where down. I asked dont you think thats something you should of told me instead of sitting here and you smiling in my face. I do not recommend this group or office to anyone seeking out dental treatment.

I used to love this dentist. They were so helpful when I was going through a difficult time in which another dentist ruined my teeth. As of late though? Theyve been such a disappointment. They screwed up my cleaning schedule. They dont communicate with one another. They dont seem to care. And with so many dentists coming in and out... how can they care? They even cancelled my appointment, and didnt even bother giving me a new one. They got a new dentist that wouldnt accept my insurance anymore, and THEY NEVER EVEN CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW! This place used to be wonderful. It has gone down hill, and Im just so disappointed. Thanks for helping me. But you guys need to shape up.

Erika is MOST helpful, she goes out her way to make sure we are satisfied with our visit . overall SmileCare is the BEST, tell them the Romeros sent you :)

Erica is the great ortho supervisor, she is always very helpful and friendly. The rest of the ortho team is great with my son. General side is also helpful, Alejandra and Anna are always great to talk too. I will recommend this dental office to my friends and family.😊

DO NOT GO HERE, WORST PLACE EVERI waited here for two hours, and then when I got in someone kept trying to sell me procedures, not the dentist. After three hours I just left, without seeing the dentist that I really needed to see.Please dont get it twisted, this place is POOR and far away from fair. The two hour wait in the lobby with a TV that kept going off, a hygienist that could not understand what no means. It was just awful.

I love the staff their, they practically have grown on me like family after leaving my previous dentist I had gotten comfortable with it was tough finding one that would take care of me but Smile Care in Lakewood, didnt let me down. All my girls there are awesome and so sweet. I love the dental assistants as well theyre all so funny and goofy they always make me laugh and smile!!I enjoyed the staff they are all so friendly and definitely make me smile always catching up not just as a patient but I feel like a friend. I couldnt have been more happier.Dr.Sarang Dehghan he is super gentle and extremely understanding he also takes his time whenever I go in, he always gets the job done and checks to see if Im okay afterwards. I appreciate his tips and advice when it comes to after care treatment. That is a big thing for me when it involves teeth and gums. He is great and you can tell he definitely takes care of his patients so you wont be disappointed!Paulette the hygienist is amazing, at first I was nervous about my cleaning but she reassured me that she would be gentle and meet my needs by putting a numbing agent on so it wont be too painful considering Im super sensitive. I had a bad experience from a dentist I went to a few years back but Paulette definitely comforted me and knocked this out of the ball park. I didnt just enjoy my time being taken cared of but I also was super happy with the conversation we had. She is such a sweet heart and so caring towards her patients. I cant wait to see her in two weeks just for my polishing!I feel so many people just need to give them a chance, because youll never find that opportunity in finding a great place that can meet your needs. This facility is overly disgusting and filthy. The service is awful and the employees are rude. Save yourself your precious time and find a better dental office. Today is Thursday and theyre open at 9am, we got to this location at about 9:20am and their doors are locked. RIDICULOUS!

Its with sadness and frustration (emphasis on frustration) that I write this negative post. I have NOT had the most pleasant dental/ortho experience with Ocean Dental Group.1) They overcharged me for my braces (Im still waiting to get this resolved). I had to get them taken off in 5 months due to job relocation.2) The office manager is not professional and does not know how to resolve issues in an efficient manner.3) Its difficult to schedule appointments with them for Ortho service because the Ortho team only comes to the Lakewood location twice a month.4) The Ortho manager (Cindy) and Office Manager (Jennifer) has made it extremely difficult to resolve the issues that ive been inquiring about for months. They dont return calls when I call in for questions.5) Horrible communication6) Unorganized is an understatement.A positive things I would like to say about this dental group is that some of the staff are super friendly and welcoming while others give you weird eye stares and awkward encounters.2/10 [do not] recommend.

Incompetent employees! The people here are very disrespectful over the phone and in person. I will report this company to better business bureau so other people dont go through the same experience. These people are so mischievous that they over charge you for services that were never provided. Its sad to say that people actually work like this. They scam people and still havent been shut down!!! I hope people keep complaining and reporting them so these people dont keep getting away with this.

They changed their name and decided to charge for a second set of braces.Not to me the lady who handles billing is rude she was knocking on the bathroom door and then try to say I didn’t make my payment when I did the receptionist even had to correct her on that matter.

Ortho staff is phenomenal...great attitude and very friendly. Never had to wait more than 5 min for ortho appt. Dr Lee could work on people skills. Erica-ortho superviser is extremely helpful and accomodating. Anna, ofc mgr always ready to address any concerns, and Alejandra great. Juan ortho tech made my dtr feel comfortable. Overall great job!
