First time I came in, I brought my dress blues to get the rank sewed on and they got the wrong rank on it, even though they wrote down the right one. Second time, I brought my cat eyes to get sewed on and they put the wrong information on it. Also, no professionalism and no fixed prices, they charge you whatever they feel like.

I went in with enough time for my uniforms to be done. I was told it was going to be a total of $240 to get 8 name tapes, 6 badges to get sewn on, and dry cleaned. I was surprised it was so much and when they noticed my hesitation they brought it down to 190 and I agreed. After I left I made some phone calls to other near locations and I was quoted $60. I went back and they agreed to match the other competitors price. I payed and about 30 min later they called back and said, never mind we are not going to do it, come pick it up. Horrible service!! Never going there again!! It’s a total scam. They don’t even know what they are charging you for!

I went there to get my clothes sewn, not to a concert. They blast their music so loud, it makes not only me scream loud but their employees scream loud as well. I dont know whose idea it was to blast music like that, but it is a terrible idea; please turn it off or tone it down.

They dont speak english so its really hard communicating with their employees.

Coming from the east coast its a bit pricey to get it dry cleaned. But its pretty awesome they do everything all in one shop! I love it especially cause its real convenient and they are a quick service shop!

Love this cute lil shop with just cute dresses and Bonnie she is so sweet and friendly very helpful need a face mask they got so many different sizes colors patterns one u can put filters in just all kinds and if u got fabric u want they make them in the store very clean and just a great place to go

This review is long over due this happened a year ago.I gave a 2 instead of a 1 because many times I went they were fast and great but after purchasing a brand new pair of asu pants I went for a cleaning. Upon picking up I noticed they gave me an old pair, I told them they weren’t my pants but they said yes yes same size. Same size but not my new pants so much wasted money, be careful when bringing your asus here.

If you’re looking for general alterations on low risk materials, this shop is just fine. Think name tapes. Also the patch making service here, although pricey, is justified by the quality of work.However, it’s hard to overlook that there’s a clear aura amongst the staff that they don’t need any specific customer. By the gravity surplus of the base, any persons order is as easily replaced as anyone else. And although from a bulk perspective there is truth.. to the individual consumer, we are all just specific customers looking for a service.A fancy way of saying that you, the work you need done, and the money you spend to value that work, at this shop, has a trending expectation of indifference and clumsyness. Far below its perceived potential.

This place has no set price when you walk in the door. Brought the same uniform in to get cleaned on three different occasions and they were all different in prices. They don’t do refunds when they mess up, and are pretty rude when you ask if they will work with you to fix the problem. All they did was offer me a used beret. I highly suggest going to commander sewing just across the street. Better service and better prices.

Jeannie is Extraordinary. She went above and beyond to help me out with everything I need and I appreciate her hard work and amazing customer service. I’ve been coming here for a while and they consistently do a great job! I don’t trust my clothes with any other cleaner. Always great staff, Jeannie and her staff give great dry cleaning services all the time. Clothes always look great when they are returned and personnel are always the friendliest! Never have to wait.

Professional, great job at sewing ranks on my uniforms. When I arrived to pickup my uniforms, they were neatly folded along with the patrol caps and receipt. I will be supporting this establishment when I need sewings done in the future. Thank you.

I order some unit patches and had them custom made. They were awsome and had them shipped to me lickedy split. I reccomend them to all my buddies.

Been there twice, 1st time getting stuff on my uniform they over charge me and i told them that the amount was wrong they did the count like 5 times and finally changed, the secomd time i got my ASUs fix and the lady gave me the change wrong and i told her and at the beginning she said that was fine and i told her to use the calculator and she was avoiding to use it and the end i used and show it the service es fast and good just the customer service is not good

Wish I could give zero stars and still write a review. Lady refused to sew on badges how my wife requested and forced me to come into the shop to tell her how to sewn on the badges. Despite the initial picture my wife showed them and myself going in there to show them in person how to sew on the badges she still wanted to argue that it was not IAW regulation, so I printed out the page of regulation showing that it was indeed correct but she didnt want to see it. She wanted to continue to complain CSM said that it is wrong and youre going to be made fun of. Well, unfortunately CSM was wrong and is wrong and so is this shop. Instead of upholding their end of the contract by sewing on the badges to my liking as they agreed to, they want to incorrectly argue regulation when they arent even in the Army. Will never go here again. Waste of money and TERRIBLE customer service.

They sell masks but they do not follow Covid-19 guidelines at all. No social distancing and sometimes their employees would get up so close to your face trying to be overly nice.

An employee of theirs was very unprofessional. I don’t know if that’s the case for other employees but this one employee had very dirty clothings on and didn’t appear to take care of himself. He was very obnoxious when talking to me as well.

I came here to get a button up dress shirt altercated to be form fitting and it was done very well. The shirt looked great on me and even sharper in a full suit or with a vest. I am about to take two more shirts in to have it done and excited to see how it looks in a suit and a vest.

They do everything and theyre quick. They have a large store. Theyre also extremely helpful for those last minute uniform emergencies. They steamed some wrinkles on my uniform at no charge when it fell off the hanger. There is one lady there with attitude and a great sense of humor, I think that might be Jeannie. Shes awesome.

In and out in less than 20 limits! Just had to get a service stripe sewn on with all my ribbons on and everything came back great! Not sure about these previous comments about them being dishonest, I have not yet had a bad experience. Been here multiple times and I am satisfied.

I have had both military uniforms and civilian coveralls done here. They have always been able to get the items back to me within the same day or the next day. They can quickly custom make name tapes, and do all the sewing you may need for your uniforms. I only speak English, which has never been a problem for me here, for those that do have a problem with any type of language barrier, please take a deep breath, slow down and pay attention. The price is worth an ounce of patience when dealing with the people who are happily performing such an awesome service for us and my fellow service members.

Jeannies Sew Shop is always keeping it real. Just kidding. Honestly, the workers here are always very nice and helpful. Their service is also very expediently. Usually, they can have things done for you next day, except for dry cleaning. The one thing that would bump their rating to a five star would be if they lowered their prices on some of the items. Overall, this is a great place to have service done to your uniforms.

I dropped off my ASUs and was told they would be done at 2 pm 3 days later. I come to pick them up and they were not done. I say something and they’re pretty much like “Oh well.” I came back the next day and they still weren’t done! 2 days AFTER they were supposed to be done, I can finally pick them up. Fast forward a couple weeks, I come to get my dress hemmed for the ball and I’m told it’ll be ready at 4 pm 3 days later. I come to pick it up and AGAIN, it’s not done. I tell them that this is the second time this has happened to me, and they’re like “well you got the dress for free (I got it from the Operation Deploy Your Dress thing, not that it should matter!) and we gave you a good price for the services.” So I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for it to be done. Also, I DO NOT consider them to have good prices. Everything is like 10 times more expensive than other places I have gone. I only come here because it’s closer to where I live. The least they could do is have your stuff ready when they say it’ll be ready. Don’t quote me a day if you can’t stick to it, or CALL to tell me it’s not ready yet, so I don’t waste my time coming here! Me and my husband (and all of our friends) will not be coming back. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME.

I dropped off a jacket and they promised to have it done same day, I could understand if they told me they would not be able to finish it. But, a false promise caused me to cancel plans and change my schedule to accommodate something that wasn’t close to being complete. The reason I’m not leaving 1/5 stars is because they were genuinely helpful.

They sewed on the flash to my beret while I waited for a dollar less than what the on base clothing and sales alterations place charges. I was in and out in 10 minutes. They also have preshaved and shaped brown SFAB berets, which no one on post has yet (they also have all the other colors too). They sell all the patches, badges, tabs, flashes, nametapes, etc. that youd need to set up a uniform.

I went to this shop on Monday December 2nd to have patches put on a vest and I returned Saturday and the vest had not even been touched since Monday at drop off ! Terrible customer hands down no help no phone call. I do not recommend this shop. Stay away from it

Quality work! Was a bit on the expensive side and I think the lady made up the prices as she went but I got what I needed so I can’t complain too much.

It was a really pleasant experience coming to this shop. I had some really difficult alterations to have done on my dress and they did a really wonderful job. My dress was a really different kind of dress compared to the normal dresses and I thought that they would not be able to do it because other alteration shops said it was impossible. They did it pretty quickly and the price was really affordable. I would recommend these guys for any alterations.

I used to vouch for this shop to everyone. My recent expierence made them loose a customer. I went in to get my new rank sewn on to my ASU top and have it dry cleaned they quoted me a fair enough price and next day pickup. I came by next day just to have them tell me they lost my top and told me they would call me when they found it which they eventually did 2 days later. They still changed me full price and i just noticed days later they lost one of the buttons. My fault for not inspecting it before payment but seriously!? Wont be going to them again

Terrible service and results. They put some patches on for me and when i came back to ask them to fix them, the person helping me yelled and cursed me. STAY AWAY from this place because they will do the work wrkng and then scream at you

Lost my ASU’S when I turned them in to get dry cleaned and once I returned to have them replace my lost uniform and my unit awards the customer service was terrible. They were rude about the whole situation

I took my ASU’s here for sewing and dry cleaning. By far the worst service I have ever received. They made me retrieve my uniform when I first entered. There were hundreds of uniforms to sift through andd when I did receive my uniform they had tried to overcharge me for the services I received. I recommend going to a place a little more courteous and professional. I will never go here again

Dont worry about the customer service. The people that complain are people that probably arent bilingual and dont understand how tough it is for your secondary language to be the primary language for the people you mostly service. English is their second language and they speak it the best they can.*Review - I went there yesterday and dropped off two uniform tops that needed rank, us Army and last name tapes sewn on. I dropped it off at 11 and picked it up at 330. When I went in the second time I asked how fast they could do my PC (Patrol Cap, I wanted to get it done but put off doing so because its the only one I had). They took it, adjusted the price, and had my rank and name tape sewn on within 10 minutes. This place is awesome, not overly expensive, and FAST. Im taking in my ASU top to get it tailored for my wedding, Ill do a review for that as well once its complete.

Took my husbands ASU’s and boots here when he got promoted a few months ago. When we picked everything up we noticed the boots looked terrible, but didn’t see a need to make a fuss about it we just wouldn’t get the boots done there again.Into the closet the uniform went and hasn’t come out since. My husband needed his uniform and pulled it out. They left lint/pilling and everything looks like it was never dry cleaned. My husband was removing everything from the jacket and noticed they had repositioned the backing of his name tape with super glue. They got the glue on his jacket! Luckily it is covered by the name tape.

This place is a rip off and way to over priced. I needed sew on ranks for my uniform for deployment and clothing and sales was closed. I went in to get some and the lady at the counter asked another employee how much she should charge me. The employee said 3.50 as she laughed and walked away. Horrible people with horrible service.

Ive been going to Jeannie since about a week after she opened her shop. Since then she and her and the other Ladies have done all of my sewing. I am now retired and still take any of my specialty sewing to her, its a 3 1/2 hour drive each way. Worth the drive for the quality of work.

Decent enough work but they never have it ready on time. Everytime Ive gone to pick things up they havent even started them and I have to wait at least 30-40mins for them to be ready. They dont call you if it wont be ready and then dont even apologize for it not being ready.

So I needed the NCO ASU pants since I picked up E5. Payday activities was the next day and the person I was going to borrow the pants from backed out. Guess I was spending ~$80. No where had my size except Jeannies and I didnt even know they sold them. After they let me try on a pair the lady asked if I needed them dry cleaned. I said no its okay I need them tomorrow so she took them and ironed them out for me and made sure they were clean and good to go. I was surprised and very happy. I had no problem ironing them out myself but they took the initiative to make sure I was set. Nice people forsure, never had a problem.

I dropped off my uniform here on a Tuesday for tailor and dry clean. 2 weeks later I went back to pick up my uniform and they said it wont be ready in next 30min or come back the next day. You guys asked for 3 days and I gave you guys 2 weeks and you still messed up.This is unacceptably poor service.

Despite what it says on their Google page, and their website, they are not open on Sunday. If their phone number worked (or had any decent info prerecorded) it would have saved me a 40 minute drive.

Crooked, uncentered sewing, over priced, and the poorest customer service Ive ever seen at a military-targeted sewing shop. They told us to come back after 2pm on the pick-up day. After making the drive, I was told it would not be ready for a few more hours. She said try at 4pm as if they werent sure if it would be ready by then either. We now have to alter evening plans to accommodate their poor planning. You wont get what you pay for and were obviously not the only ones having these issues with them; take your business elsewhere.Update: they gave me someone elses jacket along with my stuff. Luckily we got ahold of her so I wouldnt have to make a fourth trip back there. Triple check your uniform if you still choose to use their services!

I went here for all my sewing needs when I was in the military, and to this day I still go there for all my custom patches and leather sewing needs. Great place.

Called for pricing formal suit alterations and wont even give ball park figures, insistent that the seamstress would have to see them even after I informed them of the 35 minute commute I would have to make. Poor customer service can say a lot about the quality of work
