Our experience was very good with this rep named Steve. In the past my husband & I both had bad experiences with HR Block, so happy we decided to try one more time. We will be back next year. Thanks to Bud for encouraging us to come in.

I would have given a zero if offered. STICKER SHOCK! I could have hired my old CPA for a lot less. In addition to my initial consultation of 40 to 45 minutes, the real work took about an hour. $510 for a real hour of work is excessive in my opinion. While I liked working with the Tax Pro individually and overall had a good experience with the H&R Block Office I went to, there was no indication that my fee would be so high. I feel like I got sucker punched on price without an opportunity up front to know it was going to be so high.

Bud Welborn and the entire team at H&R Block in Lakeway, Texas are far and away the most customer friendly, customer oriented and professional full-service tax preparation office I have ever dealt with. Amanda and the rest of the front office staff are always very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the entire process and completely in the loop as to the current status of your taxes at all times. The entire team is very easy to work with and very responsive to our individual needs - we have a lot of them…lol, and a complicated annual return. Bud has always responded to everyone of my requests without fail, regardless of time of day or time of year. This office has consistently performed in the top 25 offices across the entire nation and that recognition is VERY WELL DESERVED! We sleep well at night because of them.

This location did a great job and made me want to come back to them. I dont believe I would go to any other H&R block other than this one location.

Easy and fast work and everything was prepared and spelled out so we didnt have to do anything but pay the fee and the taxes to the IRS.

Everyone was pleasant, the return was done promptly and I got a bigger refund than expected!

Attempted on-line tax prep and the portal to sign didnt work for me and I ended up having to go into an HR block office still. It wasnt as convenient as I was expecting.

Cannot get an appointment with the person I want.

I feel like they were professional and I am not sure why I have used the mom and pop shops for so long. Nothing against mom and pop companies, It was just so easy with H&R Block.

I prefer working with people who are familiar with the Tax Laws and help me understand my return and make suggestions for staying on track in retirement etc.

Really great service. My tax preparer was very knowledgeable and didnt rush me through the process. He was very patient and even showed me what to expect for next year due to the changes in the tax code. I highly recommend them.
