I actually really like this post office. It never seems too crowded, except during times youd expect (like holidays). The folks I interect with are always very nice and most times the self-service kiosk is working which is convenient during off-hours.

They say they cant find the parcel, but its their problem that they cant find the parcel.

Worst postal service Ive ever seen. Lost my package that had been delivered to the post office. Got it six months later, it had been somewhere in the back. Never will they answer the phone.

Its one of the worst post offices to drop off priority mails. They repeatedly get delayed in picking them up and will reach destination several days late. Dont waste money for priority mails, send it via first class that will be faster and cheaper.

Ive never been able to get anyone to answer the phone. Maybe Im calling at the wrong time, or its a problem with the phone system they are forced to use?? However, the people who work there are actually quite helpful and pretty darn friendly. The customers waiting in line are stoic and very focused on their objectives. Others who frequent this place regularly know of that special place to leave packages behind the counter. For those of us new to the line, watching them head right to the front of it, there is wasted suspicion. Those who have been there longer know of this game already, and watch us noobs laughing to themselves as if they were invited to be in on the joke. Since I was there to pick up a package of bees, I only needed to ring the doorbell and forgo the line. But what fun is that?

This post office has very poor service. Workers are rude and talk among themselves while helping customers. I sent a very important document certified mail with receipt and they failed to scan it so it didnt get delivered on time and I have no idea where it is. Horrible.

I paid for expedited shipping and the package came three days after they said it had been delivered, and it was broken. I wrote a complaint and got no response.

If I could give this post office zero stars I would. I ship a decent volume of packages for business. Consistently, I drop the package off and the post office doesn’t even SCAN it that they have it for at least 3-4+ days after I dropped it off. Slow, inefficient, and harmful for small businesses

I dont send packages often and therefore waited in line to ask what my options were, as it is easily confusing if you dont know what youre doing. I noticed some people that seem to think they can cut line and/or demand service without (I hope) noticing others have been patiently waiting. The gentleman at the counter was so extremely helpful, and I took heed of what he recommended and then proceeded to get back in line. The guys working were so efficient and we were so quickly helped, and the same gentleman as before went above and beyond! I only wish I had gotten his name. These guys were even there in our epic snow/ice-pocolypse! I super appreciate these patient and kind workers!!!

Ive used this post office so much since I moved here 3 years ago and I am so grateful that they are here! The team is always polite and helpful even when they are extremely busy. Thank you for all that you do! We appreciate you!!!

Id give this sad excuse of a company 0 stars if I could. What a complete an utter joke USPS is. Took them 2 weeks to get a package from Dallas to Austin, then it stayed there for 3 days, then moved to a post office, then went out for delivery. To top it all off, they didnt deliver it that day, and the package remains on Out for Delivery. Get your work together, its absolutely ridiculous that the United States Postal Service is nothing but a joke to us now. Dont try calling the office, they wont answer, and dont expect to get any kind of customer service. Avoid USPS at all costs, unless youd like your package to be lost or out for delivery until the end of the Fiscal year.

I attempted to mail out my businesse’s quarterly sales tax filing to the Texas Comptroller in February and it curiously never made its destination. Now I’m battling the Comptroller over a thousand dollar late charge and having to change my bank account because some random criminal has a signed check from me.

Very busy all of the time. No waiting with preprinted or applied postage, just drop off and youre done.

We are extremely frustrated with not receiving our mail on a timely basis. Sometimes we go two or more days without receiving. We have alerts set up showing us what mail will be delivered (we get alerted each morning) and then we expect the mail to arrive and it doesn’t! I realize that there is a pandemic going on. This seems to be everyone’s excuse for bad customer service. There are a lot of people out of work. Lake Travis post office, how about hiring more people if you can’t handle the demands that come thru your location? And how about setting a goal to get your star rating above “1”, where it has been for several years!? Of course that would require someone to CARE over there!

Worst post office you could ever deal with. They are not timely. They do not answer the phones. You ask for a call back it takes hours. I waited hours for my call back for the lady to ignore what I was asking and transfer me to law enforcement? Are you kidding me? Every employee Ive delt with has been unprofessional and rude. Use Amazon or FedEx or UPS. MUCH MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EMPLOYEES. I will never again use usps for anything other than mail since they are the only company that delivers mail. But if ups or FedEx delivered mail I would switch asap. I do not recommend using lakeway usps. Ive called multiple times today and nobody ever answers the phones. Seems like they just ignore or hang up. You would expect more from a business in LAKEWAY. More ppl need to post their reviews. This post office has horrible ratings and reviews for a reason. Idc if theres a pandemic going on. Everyone seems to use that as a excuse for poor customer service. Where are the higher up managers when you need them to handle situations?? Just straight trash.

Mail was not held for my trip of 18 days. All mail was crammed, and I mean crammed into my mailbox. Just ridiculous! Dont try to call...no one will answer. Very simple instructions were not followed! Come on!!!!!

Terrible post office TERRIBLE mail delivery. We get other peoples mail ALL THE TIME! We have a full box of mail today for the neighbor next door, nothing for us, someone has our mail! They leave packages on top of the mailbox. This has to stop!

I arranged with them to forward mail to me. In almost 3 months not one item has been forwarded. On the very, very rare occasion I managed to get through to them by phone, they tell me it is all ok!!Recently, no one answered the phone over a 3 day period.Absolutely terrible

Phone will ring for literally 30-40 minutes with no answer before automatically hanging up. Such a shame that they are absolutely no help to the community.

Their drivers are lazy and would rather lie and say your package was unable to be delivered than find your door. They have also completely lost one of my packages. I’ve filed two complaints with them and no one has reached out to address this.

Terrible service. Left a note on my door saying they could not deliver a package because I wasnt home to sign. I was seated in my study 5 feet from my door. I checked the box asking for redelivery. It never happened. I finally went to the PO to fetch the package. This is an exact replica of other instances.

One word : Incompetent... Why Amazon gives the USPS their delivery business is beyond me. They make Amazon look bad with their horrible package delivery service. Moving to Lakeway and this was my first visit to the post office. I was pleasantly surprised. There were 3 employees working the counter and each one was greeting their customers with a friendly hello. Maverick waited on me and was very friendly and helpful. I was in and out in a few minutes!

Had a package where I dont know exactly what happened. Initially the status showed as out for delivery but then ended up as showing Insufficient Address when it wasnt delivered. I called the day after and although it rang a little while, when someone answered, I asked about this weird situation. They were nice and said it might be out for delivery now. If nothing shows up, then to call tomorrow. Whats the worst thing that can happen...that the package is lost? Life is too short to get my boxers in a twist about a misdirected package.

If I could go less than one star I would. I have called twice to ask about a package that was delivered in error to the post office, trying to make sure it is secure and hopeful they could track it down and hold onto it until I could get up there to collect it. The phone call was answered twice and both times they hung up on me. I truly cannot believe this is our USPS!

I wish I could give this place a ZERO rating.Tracked package yesterday that was supposedly delivered to my mailbox. NOT! Called and spoke with Danny (supervisor) and he said hed follow-up...NOT! They DO NOT answer their phones, let it ring, then pick up and put down phone (could hear them talking in background). Tried calling 1-800 USPS 3 times yesterday...say there is a 30-40 minute wait time...NOT! Id still be waiting if I had not hung up after 50 minutes! They DO NOT answer, either! Just put you on continual hold! This Post Office needs to be shut down, along with USPS! Most inept company and people I have ever experienced! Still NO package!

Store hardly ever answer the phone and the lady that answers is rude.

I saw all the negative reviews and had to put in my 2 cents worth. I have lived in the same place for 18 years and never had a package lost. Then, for over a year, I had MANY packages lost or stolen...BUT they got a new manager a while back and since then I have had zero problems! When I need to mail a package the line goes quickly and everyone is upbeat a friendly. And BIG KUDOS goes to my letter carrier Priscilla! She goes above and beyond to make sure I get my packages! This post office has done a huge turnaround from a few years ago with excellent customer service!

Horrible customer service experience. The woman refused to give me my mail and/or packages for my local business. I am the owner of the primary PO Box and she hadn’t even offered to view my ID or anything. My husband had the key and was not with me at the time. The woman was dismissive and outright rude.

I recently stopped by and dropped off a bday card to my brother in the outgoing mail at this location and he never received it. The card included a home depot gift card. Come to find out the gift card was spent and there is no trace of the letter going out. I will never use this post office again, def have a thief employed at this location!

If one is lucky in Lakeway USPS delivery district theyll end up with a good mailman, if not, expect your Priority Mail deliveries to be left on the road by your house, yes, on the road.... and also receiving other homes mail. Unfortunately addressing the mailman about it all, or going to the Post Office and complaining to the mailmans supervisor does nothing, as the problem remains.The lack of leadership, professionalism and values is most predominant.

I understand there are issues with the Postal Service, but they just dont get it. If someone has better service at competitive prices people will gravitate in that direction. UPS has some good people, however, they dont seem to recognize that public interface is key. Let those with poor people skills find other jobs, including those in supervisory positions. They dont even answer the phone. One star is too high and rating.

Where shall I start???? First off, I cant believe all the negativity on this Post Office. I received the best service at this station. I recently used two other Post Offices in the past, which i will not mention. After reading the reviews on here I was a bit nervous to go this this Post Office. After meeting with the manager and staff at Lake Travis, I am at awe for all of the poor reviews on here. i watched the interaction with customers and management alike and observed nothing but courteous service and friendly smiles. I feel that most of the negativity on the posts are from customers that are so use to be waited on hand and foot and if they are not taken care of in a minute, automatically their receiving bad service. I did see one interaction with a customer, who was in line talking noting but trash about this station and its employees, I thought to myself this is why the there are so many poor reviews. I will always be giving my business to this Post Office and I hope that there will be more positive feedback... Delivery times are often after 6pm. I am home and yet they dont bother to come to the door for a signature, just leave a note in the box. I request re-delivery, it doesnt happen. Last two days I didnt get any mail at all when I have 3 tracking numbers they show as delivered both days! I have a locking mail box so it is not being stolen... at least not by anyone not working for the post office.

Poor service. 5 trips to attempt to set up a business mailbox. Postmaster takes my information and promises to call me back in a day or 2. Have done this 4 times now. No call. And no one answers the phone.

We returned a new Iphone to AT&T via this post office in Lakeway.Our fault for dropping it in the drop box and not with a clerk instead. Didnt think at the time this was an issue. Now AT&T says they never got the device. Someone at the Post Office obviously realized what we did and took the device when they emptied that mailbox. It was never logged since we dropped it in the mailbox outside and we have no way of tracking this.Let this be a lesson to you as it was to me (dumb thing to do now that i think about it but you dont expect things to be stolen either) .

A complete joke. They have lost 3 packages in 1 month - they lost 2 packages in a weekend. When is accountability apply for these personnel?

Package was supposed to be delivered 5/25/19 but wasnt because it needed a signature. Went online and re-scheduled delivery for 5/28/19. Its 5/30/19 and package hasnt been delivered so went down in person.Talked with Anthony who was of no help. He couldnt find the package and told me he is just a messenger... He took my phone number and told me a supervisor would call me. Called back on 5/31/19 after no one called me like promised and talked with Ricky who was an A-Hole to deal with on the phone. He couldnt find the package so he took my number again and said he MAY call me back tomorrow. Guess what, no call.Now the tracking # is showing the package is in chicago on its way back to sender. What happened to holding the package till 6/5/19 like the slip said?Typical government agency customer service. No one knows whats going on. Doubt I will get a call from the supervisor who is looking into this.And think, the government wants to control healthcare... sorry sir, we misplaced your heart transplant and we have no way of helping you further.WHERE IS MY PACKAGE! The people who work at this location are incompetent and lazy even by postal service standards. If you ask simple questions, they will roll their eyes at you. They will send you to the wrong line if they do not feel like helping you. They will walk away from their register with a long line.You better hope you never have to pick up a package because the window does not stay open. You just have to ring the bell and hope the guy is there. If not, expect to stand there like an idiot for five minutes until the people at the counter tell you to go to the main line. If he is there, be prepared to wait for fifteen to twenty minutes because he is really bad at his one job.

Went to the post office 10 days before I left for a 3-week vacation and filled out a request to hold my mail while I was out of town. Just went back to pick up my mail and start regular delivery again. I was handed a container with 137 pieces of mail in it. Is it any surprise that this pinnacle of incompetence...the Lakeway Post Office..LOST the request to hold my mail and had been trying to cramming my tiny mail box with a 137 pieces of mailmail for over two weeks until they couldnt fit a piece of tissue paper in it. Then they took out all the mail and put a notice in my mail box informing me that my box was full (really???), and I must pick up my mail within ten days or else(?).... Is it any wonder that this office has earned a 1.8 approval rating for their indifference, incompetence, rudeness and totally uncaring attitude. Id sign any petition to fire all these clowns and hire some friendly, competent and caring staff.

Our carrier at the estates is wonderful... every time I needed to mail a package at the office they are friendly as well...and the line moved fast if there even is one. Keep up the prompt work... Thank you all!!!

The worst post office in this country. They lose the mail all the time, management is beyond horrible, staff is lazy and rude. They have lost my mail several times, including packages and sensitive documents. They never answer the phone and if you drive by their office is an absolute waste of your time. Nobody is responsible for your mail and they dont care at all. The USPS in not part of the government, this is an independent agency. I wish we (all unsatisfied, mistreated and unhappy customers) could unite and file a class c suit against them or at least a formal complaint. Someone has to do something about this and stop these people to continue doing these things to all of us (losing or stealing? our mail) The people that work at this office should be fired. All of them! Do yourself a favor and avoid the stress, frustration, impunity and headache. Stay away from this post office.

CONSISTENTLY!!!! The postman that delivers to our house gives my mail and PACKAGES to the house behind me! Im so tired of this. It would be nice if the neighbors return my packages but they keep them 100% of the time. I always go return their packages and mail back into their mailbox. The Lakeway Post Office needs to put me on the payroll so that I can get paid for delivering the neighbors mail.Ive lost a lot of $$$ in merchandise that I order and do not get. I came to look for a lost package because another mail location had said it was here (they checked the tracking for me). When I got here i came to the window and waited 10 minutes for help. When I did finally talk to someone she had me write down my tracking number, left while I was writing it, and didn’t come back for another 10-15 minutes. Ridiculous service here ALL THE TIME

Never have this office handle holding your mail. Out of necessity, Ive tried it now 5 times in the past 18 mos. Only once, has the process gone as promised. Today, I visited the post office, for the second time this week, looking for my mail that has yet to be delivered, over a week late. I was assured by the manager that she had personally checked with the carrier to verify my mail has been delivered. guess what? Its not been delivered as promised. I have currently been waiting 15 minutes for them to answer the only phone number list on the website.

Sadly there is not a zero rating. These people could not be less helpful if they tried. If you go to their office it becomes a game of which employee can take their break or go to lunch next. Always 50% or more of the positions are not manned. If you are reliant on them for home delivery - good luck. I live in a gated community where all the Post Office has to do is ring the bell on the entry system. Instead on ALL deliveries they simply make no effort and then list the item as attempted delivery -business closed.. This is interesting because it is not a business. When I call to ask them why they will not deliver to house or mail box when the front gate is closed and/or the office is closed on the weekend I am told, We are not required to deliver to homes.Wonder why they are losing billions every year?

Ive been coming here for 5 years and I have never ever encountered an issue. Like in any post office there is a line depending on the time of day. Lots of rude, white, rich people come here as customers and from what Ive observed they feel entitled to be first in line.

0 stars if I could. I have lived many places and this is the most abysmal service Ive ever seen. Packages get delivered weeks after they are supposed to be...or never. Amazon does not even use USPS anymore for my prime packages because they never arrive on time. Ive had mail take over a month to reach my house. I regularly get other peoples mail/packages and have to deliver them to people in the neighborhood. And good luck going to the post office to try to find a package you should have received. I have a neighbor who did and she was lucky because they had a whole bin of packages just sitting in the back for her. They didnt have room on the truck to deliver them in a timely fashion. So ridiculous.

Can we give negative stars? This post office has lost several of my packages and for the past two months I keep going there almost daily to get my mail, only to be told that they have no idea where my mail is at. No one knows anything! I think that any third world country would be able to figure out how to deliver mail, but not here in Lakeway, TX. The most affluent area in entire Austin and the worst post office that can exist. How do we fix this place?! I mean it cant be that hard to deliver mail? Or is it? They keep yelling at me that they have a temporary carrier in my new development area and that guy ( no name) is up at 3 am and no one knows him or how to reach him and he apparently works these odd hours. Two months of this and still cant get my daily mail! HELP ME!!

Constantly putting our mail in others boxes and not real friendly at our local post office. Have contacted the manager and he basically said there is nothing he can do to improve their delivery. Called the 800 number and the wait time says, 1 hour and 15 minutes, unacceptable! One star is too generous!

Carrier fills out slips saying I’m not home in advance and never delivers packages or certified mail. I catch them all the time and nothing gets done about it.Post office will also never pick up the phones.

I was here today, out of absolute necessity only, otherwise Im happy to pay double or triple elsewhere just to avoid this facility. The staff do not even pretend to care about your issue, will not even attempt a smile, and take zero pride in their work. It is the most miserable environment. Be prepared to be treated with indifference, and to wait in a long line if you come here!

This entire post office including delivery has very poor customer service. I have witness this myself both with problem deliverys and poor customer service at this Post Office. Delivery postman out by Mansfield Dam has a bad attitude. This Post Office has torn apart a piece of mail for us and other mail delivered to wrong address. Every time I go to this Post Office staff is rude to people. No wonder postal service is going down hill. A entire replacement of staff is needed at this location to people who appreciate customers and this type of work.

Probably the worst customer service I’ve experienced at any USPS in the United States!I’ve lived in a lot of states and visited the USPS location in each. I thought that the Lakeway location, out of any other, would be just a bit nicer.There is one particular employee that literally clicks her tongue, snaps her bubble gum and stares at you...prior to her taking her time to call you to her window and then treats you horribly. Heaven only knows how she is still employed. The remainder of the employees are slightly better, but the lack of customer service at this location is incredible. I actually drive to other locations now, just to avoid this one.

Negative stars if I could rate! This is officially the worst PO in the country. Everyone call your congressman and state senators and get this place shutdown. Worst customer service at desk or by phone which they never answer. Repeatedly mis-delivers your packages and will absolutely refuse to forward your mail.

The absolute worst post office I have ever been in. The employees all have attitudes, dont smile and act like you are bothering them by asking simple questions. I run a business out of my home and ship at least 2 times a week. The last 3 priority boxes I have shipped have been lost and ended up in states 3000 miles away. The last one was to Houston and ended up in PA. This has affected not only my income but the lack of sincerity and accountability has me so frustrated. I will NEVER use USPS again for my shipping needs.

This is the WORST Post Office in Austin. They act like they are doing you a favor by showing up. They do a HORRIBLE job, and have a real attitude!I went in to get the email address for the postmaster to send in a complaint, and was given an incorrect email address! They deserve to be FIRED!

My packages keep getting delivered to the side of my garage! They are left out in the open and out in the elements! A box that contained a linen top was left in the rain and it got soaked! They continue to leave packages by rain spouts. Ugh! Today a box with electronics was left out by the garage instead of at my door where it would have been protected from the rain! Come on! My front door is a few steps away!

I had an issue with a PO Box I have at this location for my business. After speaking with 4 people, in person over multiple trips, I finally escalated the issue via the USPS website. Within 2 days of submitting my complaint I was contacted by someone who claimed to be the postmaster. After speaking with him my issue was resolved within 3 days. Typical govt customer service and no accountability.

This is definitely the worst post office i ever experienced. Except for a couple of friendly staff, most of the employees there are rude and cold all the time. The manager in particular is so rude! Its a shame beautiful and friendly Lakeway has such a horrible public service that we have to put up with.

I have a business in Lakeway and have packages that need to go out. I have one great lady that does our mail route. I do not understand why they do not come every day for pickup. They should come everyday whether they have delivery or not. Not very happy. My regular post lady gets 5 stars.

They constantly deliver my neighbors mail to me and my mail to my neighbors. Ive talked to the postman your and it continues on a weekly basis. Most of the staff is very rude if you ever have to visit the office. Typical government service with lack of accountability or customer service skills. All of these reviews will not help improve service as no one cares but at least you can use another service like FedEx or UPS?

Twice in the last month Ive had packages delivered to the wrong mailbox. Both times Ive had to call the post office repeatedly just to get someone answer to try to get them to fix their error. I understand that people make mistakes, but cmon, get it right the first time, and answer the phone! I will say that when I do manage to reach someone at the office, they are kind and helpful, which is the only reason Im giving 3 stars and not lower. One of my two missing packages has been resolved while the other is still lost in the ether.Update: all resolved.

I recently had to go to the post office because I needed to ship an international package and it is required that I go there for the acceptance of the package. So first I arrived assuming that I could use the priority mail boxes with my prepaid postage for a different service. They said I could not do that and that is understandable I guess... I was going to purchase 2 boxes to ship my items, but when I got to the front they said I could not use the TAPE that said priority mail. The woman at the counter then proceeded to charge me for the boxes anyway. To that I said NO WAY and then she said I could buy their regular tape. I eventually got my items out of the boxes and left. Next time I have to ship international Ill be going to a different post office. It is much easier to print labels online, for a fraction of the price, and drop them at a local UPS, Pak-Mail, or other shipping store close by when they are ready to be shipped.

Incompetent Employees. Nobody answers the phone. Takes forever to get someone to open the door for certified letters or mail holds. Carriers consistently deliver mail to the wrong address. They have no pride in their work or the service they provide for the residents of Bee Cave and Lakeway.

A 2 day package sent from Maryland on November 2 still hasnt arrived, and tracking just says it is delayed.I get packages (nice things probably from Talbots) that are delivered to the wrong address. Good thing I am honest and take them to a house in the neighborhood.Got another package this week thats not mine.They dont answer the phone.Maybe they need real people to work on the deliveries?Did I leave anything out?

I am new to Texas. Im not receiving my mail. Nobody seems to know how to track a package that was sent, has not been delivered and is, apparently, missing and I cant get anyone to answer the phone at the Lakeway branch!? Is this for real!? Is this what I have to look forward to? Awesome. Cant wait until every branch shuts down.

Very disappointed in this post office. Tried calling the phone number listed online, no one ever answers. Trying to inform them that their postal carrier has delivered other peoples mail to my mailbox several times just this week, while Im not getting my bills sent to my address. And if you ever go into this location, dont expect to be greeted by friendly folks (other than Diana). The workers here have achieve a new standard of slooow. This is an excellent example of why the post office is so far in debt, and government agencies would all be out of business if it werent for the taxpayers.

Worst post office I have ever dealt with. If they dont feel like delivering mail that day they will just drive by your house. Going into the post office is even worse. Been standing here for 20 while they try to find a package the carrier just didnt feel like delivering. I watched him drive by the day it was undeliverable

Requested via their online form for redelivery twice since they never showed for the first one. Tried calling to speak to someone and nobody will answer. You can only call the 800 number, at which they cant do anything more than you can do online yourself. And you get to wait over an hour for someone to even answer. The staff there are a nightmare to deal with so if a package requires pick up, I just return to sender. The location is not worth going to. And obviously management and whoever coordinates deliveries dont do their job. Problem is since its government, nobody cares since their jobs are all secure and they can be nasty and inefficient without repercussion.

Demographics need to be paid attention to when hiring customer service staff. This place is run by a people who absolutely hate their customers, the neighborhood and apparently Lakeway as a whole. Rude and vile attitudes, zero professionalism and its filthy by noon most days.

RUDE! One word to describe these people. They sent back 7 of my packages because I had ONE piece of duct tape holding the package closed (I send off in regular mailing packages you buy- but I added an extra piece because Ive had mine open before) I literally showed the lady and they said that was fine. Now all of my packages are returned and the office freaked out on me when I called. Never going here again. They need a reality check. They are lazy, rude, and would it hurt to smile? I hear how they talk to the customers and I swear they think were stupid and theyre better than us! Nasty people!

One of the best stations in Austin to deal with! I dont understand all the negative reviews on this site. I wish people would get their facts straight before posting to social media!

The Lakeway post office serves our neighborhood even though we are in Austin and it is 20 minutes away. We get other peoples mail now and then, but I understand that is a mistake, there are a lot of streets with the same number address as ours. What I dont understand is what happened the other day. We received a note in our mailbox dated 9/7/13 stating that our mail was being held at the post office because (and this part was hand-written) our box was packed and had not been checked in 10 days. We knew this was not true because the day before had been the birthday of a member of our household so we were checking regularly for cards and gifts. When we picked up our mail at the post office the earliest post mark was from 9/5/13. So obviously it had not been anywhere close to 10 days since we checked it. But we also had a package that was too big for the boxes at the kiosk. In the past when that has happened they just drive the 1/2 mile to our house and deliver it. So the only explanation I can think of is that this guy was too lazy to do that, so he decided that instead of him making a 90 second drive to our house, we needed to make a 20 minute drive to the post office, and went so far as to lie on the note about the reason the mail was being held. When we asked why he didnt just bring it to the house, the girl at the counter said she guessed he probably took it there but we werent home. But if that was the case, he would have left a note there (as has happened in the past.) But we know he didnt do that because 3 adults and 2 children were home ALL day, celebrating a birthday. And we expected several visitors, so we were paying close attention to the door bell. Last, but not least, after venting about this on facebook, one of our neighbors saw it and said the same thing happened to them last month....

I was told a package was delivered to my mailbox when it had not been. I called the post office to inquire and they answered...only it appears they didnt mean to. For about 4 minutes, while I tried to get their attention, I overheard a conversation bw 2 people discussing whether or not they were liable for someones mailbox that was broken in August of 2016. After no one heard (or ignored) my phone call I immediately called back knowing they were in the office...this time no one answered. I tried back 5 more times and still no answer. Obviously they are standing by the phone and just ignoring the calls. Ive heard really bad things ha about this post office and today I found out the rumors are true.

Worst location ever!! Terrible customer service!! Went to retrieve a package that should have been delivered to start with, was told it was being loaded up for delivery. Asked if it would be in my mailbox by days end, assured it would be, still no package. Get it together Lakeway Post Office!!!!!!!

Tracking of my package says my package was delivered and it was NOT. Cannot get ahold of anyone to assist me. Ugh.

This post office is a constant source of heartache for our entire neighborhood. Mail going missing for weeks at a time, being delivered to the wrong houses, or being lost completely is something you can expect on a regular basis if you are in the delivery area for this worthless post office. Our entire neighborhood has been begging for a resolution for years. They keep sending different mail carriers, and the problems continue. Lakeway USPS fails on the most basic level.

Super friendly and customer oriented service. I dont know why they have received such poor reviews in the past. I expected a horrible experience and was pleasantly surprised.

All you need to do to understand all the 1 star reviews is to go there. I called their local line before I went in and they picked up the phone and immediately hung up on me, so I drove in and waited in line for 30 minutes only to have them tell me they couldnt help me.

I tried calling this post office. What a joke. Nobody answers the phone which ultimately disconnects after a period of time. Absolutely horrible service.

MOST of the time, they have perfect delivery.But all too often they deliver my mail to the wrong box. Two weeks ago I got an Amazon alert--but the package was not in the box. They put the key in someone elses box. Fortunately/Unfortunately I checked the boxes with keys in them--and there were my packages (someone had kindly left them there).Today I get an alert for 11 items--no key in my box. My name and address is VERY BIG in the box and this is the second time in two weeks. It happens about 15 or so times per year--worrisome, especially considering some of the prices of my packages, or my checks from accounts.

So long story short Might have to file a police report for a stolen package!

I am so upset with this location and the USPS system. I have been calling this location for 2 days and the 1800 # and either it rings and you get cut off or it is busy. I have a package that shows it was delivered but I never got it and it is showing the wrong zip code.1. Zero star if I could rate, the customer service very bad, I asked for the manager or supervisor to see what happened with my package why didn’t delivered, then after about 30 minuets waiting, she showed up and she gave me random reason and plus she had zero customer experience, I remember her last name was Calien or Caly, I don’t know how they run the place so pooor

They stole from us, a box with $1,000 worth of childrens books and now our daughter cant learn from those. They tried to steal more but we caught them in the act. They are rude, lazy, and disgusting people in general. Dont go in for any reason, the lines dont move and there is clearly reverse racist behavior from some of the staff. They dont answer the phone. They even refuse to deliver items and engage in petty behavior, going out of their way to make inconveniences for the people they owe their jobs to. Bunch of communist sjws imo.

As a business owner myself, who spends about $100-$200 a day shipping mail using USPS from my home, I think their customer service here is terrible.Today I drove 20 minutes from my home because I was told after a 30 minute wait on the phone with domestic customer service that I needed to go in-store to deal with a rerouting/intercepting package situation.I arrived at 5:01pm... 1 minute late arriving in the doors and they refused to wait on me. I asked for grace and begged for them to help me as I needed their services to stop a LARGE EXPENSIVE package from arriving at the wrong destination.They refused. And just kept saying... We are closed. We are closed. We are closed.Unbelievably awful customer service. I would never treat my customers like that and am so disappointed. You should be bending over backwards trying to gain customers not lose MORE customers and fall into more debt.Signed,VERY UNHAPPY

Have tried to call for information only to have phone ring for over 3 minutes then it disconnects. Tried numerous times.This branch needs to be overhauled or closed.

I have only found two (there may be more) post offices with a lower rating than Lakeway. Forest Park, Illinois (Chicago) has 1.2 stars, and Brooklyn’s Williamsburg station at 263 S 4th Street has 1.3 stars. EVERYONE THAT WORKS HERE SHOULD BE REPLACED.

The worst post office in the country. The LIE about delivering REGISTERED MAIL. The will scan it saying the left it, BUT I KNOW THEY DID NOT. TWICE. These people must be running some sort of racket, I am not the only one, this has been going on for some time now. I think the police should get involved.
