DO NOT GET YOUR NOTARY HERE! Worst experience ever with UPS in this location. We had 4 documents notarized last Saturday. The employee who was apparently new was just awful. He did not sign any of the documents he signed. My elderly mom needed to go back on an Uber at that since I was at work. And she’s been told to come back three times now so that incompetent notary can sign the document! No apologies whatsoever! I am appalled at the lack of customer service by everyone here including the onsite Manager who did not even apologize to my mom for their error

I have been away for five months and I have to say working with the gentleman that are in this location has been an ultimate great experience. I feel like they’re more my friends than anything else… And this may sound strange but I’m looking forward to getting back home and seeing their amazing faces and just being able to talk laugh and pick up my packages LOL the world needs more good people like them

I am not super pleased recently with the shipping services I have received lately from UPS, but this storw is always staffed with SUPER nice and cool dudes. Everyone seems to be very happy and relaxed in their work environment.

Paul is the man !! He was SO kind ! I apologized up front because I had 22 boxes to send out, all to different addresses around the country. He was so friendly and positive, cracking jokes the whole time, while working extremely efficiently. I think we were both breaking a sweat at the end. I was so impressed... I really don’t think I’ve ever had such a great experience at UPS before. Thank you, Paul, you rock !

Usually short lines during early to late afternoons.I come here for my Amazon Marketplace returns. Quick, easy, and efficient. I get a receipt printed, in case I need to track my return back to Amazon.They have a box of face masks available in the customer queue line, and hand sanitizer bottles throughout the store.A face mask is required to enter the store.Usually there are three to four UPS Store associates working, when I go inside for help.

Quotes me $16 for ground service. Then when ringing it up tries to charge me $20. He said it was bc he had to add an envelop overtop my envelop bc UPS requires a certain type of envelop. Three things wrong here. 1) they added that requirement. I did not request it. 2) it came after a quote they gave me in which they knew the envelop I had. 3). Neither USPS or FedEx charge for their envelops. Ooops. 4 things. Then they decided to make me feel wrong as a customer. Horrible service all to save themselves 20 cents. Trying have respect and courtesy for your customer. Won’t be back.

We love The UPS Store on Lohmans Crossing Road in Lakeway. The staff is efficient, pleasant, and fast! Although I stop by here often (mostly for Amazon returns!), today I stopped by to pick up a package for a neighbor who is out of town. She received a notice that her package was not left at her home because it needed a signature, and she thought it was left at The UPS Store. Luke checked the tracking number and the packages left at the store, but he could not find it. He took my name and phone number, and within about 30 minutes, he had located the missing package at another address. I appreciate his time and effort on a busy Saturday. Thank you, Luke, and thanks to all at The UPS Store in Lakeway!

I can walk into any FedEx store and they will print my label for free. One quick email to the store email address at zero cost. These guys want to point you to a printer make you sign into your email account on their computer after swiping your card mind you. I will always go out of my way to avoid this store. Customer service is a joke. Charge you $4 to print a label they can print for free to customers res who are going to buy shipping materials anyway. Second time I was there and I thought I’d give them a second chance. Both times were a horrible experience. Don’t go here.

Well I just had the unpleasant experience working with Will. I walked in in a great mood and that ended when I had to converse with him. He clearly is miserable and bordered on rude during my transactions. Honestly, why work with people if you don’t like them? I paid almost $100 to ship my items and next time I will either wait for someone else or ship somewhere else. No customer service skills at all or even a personality. I’m not sure training would help.

I was assisting a client of mine who had a package sent to a hotel where they were staying. When the enquired in the package at the hotel they said it was not here. I followed up with the guys at Lakeway UPS with no tracking number and they located the package. They found it was delivered and they called the hotel to speak with someone there. The hotel then called me when they had located the package. It has been delivered in time and was lock away for safe keeping. The attitude and level of service the team at Lakeway UPS displayed is not something seen often and should be commended. Well done guys well done!!

If I could give these guys zero stars I would. They have zero customer service. The absolute worst. I go out of my way to ship packages. Employees aren’t helpful. This place is a nightmare. UPS should really monitor their franchises better.

I came in to print some quick resumes. The computer was sleeping and I was told would take about 5 minutes to load just to let me log on. Then when it did log on, it was as slow as a dinosaur (adding to my billing time). Finally I am able to print and then an employee tells me that it wont print because I printed it in a larger paper format than what was in the printer and he would have to print at full poster size then shrink then copy. At this point something that was supposed to be at most five minutes at any other UPS store was 15 minutes. He shrinks the copies and they come out lopsided. He says he can redo them and I replied that I didnt have time as I was already late, which I was due to the lack of care at this store.1. UPDATE your computers and technology. All other UPS stores have faster computers and also offer to print behind counter if needed. With 3 or more people working at a time, someone should be able to step in when your tech is too slow.2. TRAINING - Why would printer settings be automatically on a bigger paper size than whats in the printer? Why are employees unable to facilitate clear help and instructions BEFORE money is spent.I spent 6 dollars for something that would have been 2 dollars at another store due to inefficiency and general laziness.I will definitely drive the extra bit to go to different stores versus this one.

Worked for my own firm for 8 years in New Orleans area and Ab/Embev here locally designing and managing custom design & printing of UT, SXSW, Texas State, RRE, TX Stars, ACL for 7 years under Ab/EmBev or Budweiser..after all that portfolio experience....I still say that The UPS Store I currently work at in Lakeway is the best place Ive ever worked for... as Team Leader at The UPS Store 4214...there we simply provide you with what you need if its under our roof of possibility to do so. I apologize if there any means we have not been able to achieve. Service is great by other reviews and prices for services are just that. Thank you all. Edit: The gentleman was very nice who took in my package.The other UPS in the area also only provides a computer at charge to print a UPS label, so must be a local policy. I don’t like the policy, because I feel if you ship UPS, a UPS store should print a UPS label. This aspect leaves me wanting to give a low rating yet customer service otherwise is excellent, so I changed my rating 😊initial post: Every other UPS store will print a UPS shipping label emailed by a service department or any other. This one wanted to charge me $2.95 to print the UPS label.reply to Jay: Any other UPS store I have been to has readily printed a UPS label (many cities, many states). I have never had to pay a fee to use a computer to print.

I have been going to the Lakeway UPS store periodically over many years. I loved going to the one by Randall’s! GREAT crew. My last few visits at the newer location have been quite nice!I mailed 6 packages for Christmas, good experience. It’s to be expected the volume of holiday shipping would be crazy. Next visit, a return of one of those packages. (My fault) and they were very nice in explaining to me that I maybe should check the address. Oops! They swiftly relabeled and shipped my package.The last time was so friendly! I was immediately greeted as I opened the door with an enthusiastic “Hello! Good morning, mam!” Just made me smile. I’m not a morning person, so... and the service was fast and efficient and super friendly. I just appreciated the great service and felt they should be recognized. And they are fast, I’m always running late!! Keep it up, guys.

Yesterday I went in, my fourth stop, looking for a business who could convert my iMac Excel documents for printing on a Windows PC system, which seems to be prevalent in the area. Will was exceedingly helpful, spent close to an hour, in one case doing a little formatting, to be able to print my five documents times five. For all that time spent, he charged me only with the cost of the copies. THANK YOU, WILL!!!!

Wow, I dont know why this store gets so many negative reviews. I come in this store at least once a week with various things, mostly Amazon returns but some other things as well. Ive never had a bad experience, I usually go in the mornings after I drop the kids off at school and the manager, Jimmy, usually helps me and is always very nice even when its busy. They opened a new location on 71 but I still drive to this one because Ive always had such a great experience here! Thanks guys!

The UPS Store in Lakeway is GREAT! I walked in with two items that had to be returned to two retailers. One in a box, but I couldnt find my tape. The other in the original bubble wrap mailer. Dylan was such a help. He knew what he was doing. He taped my box shut and put the return label in a plastic label pocket and applied it to the box. He suggested that he could tape the used bubble wrap mailer so I didnt have to purchase another one. He applied the return label to that one as well. I was having a bit of a stressful day, so when he made the process quick, easy and painless, I was so appreciative. No fuss. No muss. I will definitely use them again.

I’ve only been to the new location once, having dealt with the same employees at the old location next to Randall’s multiple times (all negative experiences). I even had a package delivered to the old store (when it was open) and it was given to me empty because a UPS employee stole the contents. I spoke with an employee who said that it probably happened in their warehouse and they snickered.I thought that with the new location they would have new and more friendly faces...I was wrong. I stood in an empty store for five minutes, with a pre-paid shipping label package that just needed to be dropped off. A guy came out of the back finally and it appeared that I completely interrupted whatever he was doing as he sighed and asked what I needed. When I asked for a receipt, he told me to take a picture of the package with my phone as that was my receipt. Never had a problem at any other UPS location before. Won’t return to this one.

I visit this location multiple times per week to notarize documents and never have had such rude and horrible experience at a local business.First - the notary (guy with broken foot) requested that I fill out out his book and info for him. When I question why Im filling out HIS book for him he states “thats just how I do it”. I mentioned that it is never done like that at this store (or anywhere) he shrugs and gets snarky and says “well am I supposed to sign it for you too?” I state “no Im supposed to do that part, are you having a bad day man?”I still comment that he is doing it incorrectly and then the the guy decides to call me “lazy” because I simply didnt want to fill it out...are you kidding dude? The pain pills were clearly clouding your judgement...Then I obviously start getting upset and raised my voice and in turn he pulls the passive aggressive “your energy is upsetting me”. Well yeah my energy is called anger because you insulted me and you are being an entitled pompous jerk...Longstory short I shoved the papers off the desk ( I realize I should not have done that) and we trade a few more barbs about how once again Im lazy and my energy is horrible...Maybe the kid was having a bad day but based on reading the below comments there is a systematic problem at this location.All I can do is take my business/“energy” elsewhere to Fedex by Randalls and move on...I will definitely spread the word about how poorly this guy acted...

Certainly not the worst service ever received. But theres a couple rotten eggs at this location, obviously with a chip on their shoulder towards the Lakeway community per review made by Austin Ivey.Locals tip: dont tell them youre from Lakeway, tell them you drove down from Killeen or up from Laredo. Or youre passing through on the way to Canada. Also, smile at them, theyll offer to tape your package for free.Note to Jay (owner per other reviews): I have no hate for your store and dont want to lose your service in this area, but can barely tolerate a couple peoples attitudes at the business youve surely worked hard to build. Maybe they should get a pep talk? Maybe if theyre so miserable, they should find another place to work with unemployment so low, theres bound to be someplace better for them than dragging down your business. Maybe your rotten eggs can be reminded that theres crummy people everywhere, and by treating everyone that comes in to your location with a crummy attitude, theyre now one more crummy person in Lakeway. Im not even sure that Lakeway is full of crummy people having recently relocated here. But having lived all over the world and the USA I know theres good people everywhere.

This was my first visit to this store as ATT instructed me to return my equipment at any UPS Store, & I live in Lakeway. I will never go there again after the way the woman associate treated me. She was clearly very angry that I had equipment to return & was so blatantly annoyed about it that I was literally taken aback. She scanned each piece of equipment & practically threw it in a box, I was worried that she would damage them & that Id be responsible for them arriving damaged to ATT, but I didnt dare say a word. Something didnt work with the scanning so she had to do it twice & it made her very angry, as she threw the equipment around even more. I didnt know what to do. I even looked at my watch to check, did I happen to get here two minutes before closing or something? No, a half hour until closing time. I didnt really understand why I was treated that way, there is no excuse for it. Absolutely unacceptable on every level.

I went here for the simple task of mailing a letter. I spent 10 minutes giving the employee all my info including the name of my first born child only to find out from him that I cannot use my own UPS account number, just his stores account number. He told me to go find a UPS dropbox and get a waybill and fill it out there, that he did not carry them. Unbelievable. I left and finally found a UPS dropbox and guess what, no supplies were in it. What a GD joke. I hope Amazon direct shipping puts UPS and this franchisee out of business.
