Good dentist. Accepts Medicare (Humana and probably others). Has in-house insurance that seems reasonable. Have only used for cleaning for 2 years, never any pain. Very thorough, latest tech. Switched from Lakeway Dental (also very good), mainly because of MA pays 100% for 2 cleanings and all x-rays.

Dr. DAlfonso made my experience pleasant. His staff contacted me quickly and booked an appointment right away to replace my chipped front tooth veneer. Myself and my husband will be going to Dr. DAlfonso for all our dental needs from now on.

Recently I went into Lakeway Cosmetic Dentistry to get my teeth cleaned and a crown on my back tooth. The experience was extremely enjoyable from check in to check out. Dr. D has created a very family friendly environment in Lakeway. I have a white smile and get lots of compliments from family and friends on my teeth. Also, his assistant Hannah was very attentive and helpful in between sessions. She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable. As a new patient I felt so at home, as if I had been there a million times already. The front office staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Hygienist is very knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. D and his staff are taking great care of me. I have just begun the first step in getting my mouth fixed. They got me in promptly for my consultation and the first procedure. He and Jasmine made sure I was comfortable and understood everything taking place as it happened. I have a lot of anxiety about dental work and his skill removing 4 teeth with none breaking gives me a lot of faith in his abilities going forward. My mouth already feels better, though I’m just 3 days after extraction, so still need time to heal. Highly recommend him, have already referred a friend to him!

Great experience from start to finish. Great staff from the front desk to dr. D’alfonso. I only got two teeth corrected with veneers and it made such a difference. I had a lot of questions and they were all answered enthusiastically and kind. Also did the Whitening and a cleaning, all amazing. I’ll be honest I’m never a fan of the dentist but they made me super comfortable and communicated with me every step of the way. I’m excited about my new smile :)

I dont have the energy to rehash my terrible experience with Lakeway Cosmetic Dentistry, but here is my one star review again. I almost never post negative reviews (check my profile) but felt a duty to post after my two children had many cavities that went undiagnosed (one had to have a rotten tooth pulled and the other had to have a crown, in addition to multiple cavities). I am disgusted by the disappearance of my review and no longer trust Google reviews.

The procedure was interrupted at one point not by my forgetting to breathe but needing to blow my nose. The technician was assured this was normal Texas hiil country Winter though that specific point was never reached before. --- and we were off to successful completion.

Cosmetic dentistry gives you the illusion that youll get something grander than a general dentist.However, The American Dental Association does NOT recognize cosmetic dentistry as a specialty.What youll get is more expensive costs for procedures and if youre out of network. Guess what theres no checks and balances to keep them from ripping you off. I finally figured out how they utilized all of my insurance and still owed thousands. Pffft!The work we had done here was faulty, and fillings fell out in less than a year.Waste of money and insurance and needed work redone.

Best Dentist EVER!! 1st my son and wife went and loved working with him for years. I had never been. Then, I had an emergency, with a broke front crown, he had me come in when they were closed on a Friday to take care of my smile. (A MESS) Now I am hooked and going in for more small procedures. I HATE DENTIST, but not this 1. His team of staff are friendly and care about your pain and comfort. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone in need. P.S. I called to make an appointment here because I had a crown fall off and needed it re-attached ASAP. I was a new patient and understood that I would need a quick exam before they could reattach the crown. When I made the appointment I gave them all my insurance information as asked how much the visit would cost, I was told that I would be given an estimate prior to any work being done,When I arrived for the visit, I was taken back to the exam room. Without seeing the doctor a dental tech then proceeded to take multiple x-rays of my entire mouth. I was very confused and asked wow that is a lot of x-xrays. When the doctor finally came in he did a quick exam and re-cemented my crown. He told me that they would do a more comprehensive exam when I cam back to get my teeth cleaned.When I went to check out they told me that my share after insurance would be $71.00 - that sounded reasonable and I paid. I later received a bill for over $200 (after my insurance paid) - I tried calling the office multiple times with no call back. I finally wrote the office a letter asking how they got to that number, I also asked about the standard of care. The doctor responded back with a trite letter that was not helpful at all stating that if I wanted to come back in to have my teeth cleaned to call the office. I was then sent to collections for the $200 bill.

The ladies at the front are super nice, and everyone makes you feel very comfortable.

I am VERY pleased to be a patient here. I moved away from the neighborhood but wont change to another dentist. The knowledge and skill are really excellent most of all (and I have a lot of dental experience). The business side is both reasonable and considerate of a clients financial status. I have been to an office that was heavy on marketing and that is just wrong. Cannot fake the integrity and sincerity Dr. DAlfonso exhibits in all aspects of this practice.

I had broken a front tooth on a Sunday evening and was looking for a dentist asap... I called Dr DAlfonsos office and they were able to get me in that Monday afternoon. From the moment I walked in I felt like they were friends that I just had not met yet. I must say I looked like quite a snaggletooth when I walked in but Dr. DAlfonso and his staff were able to fix me right up. I left there feeling like the temporary crown look better than the tooth that had broken in the first place. I was so pleased! Today I went back for my permanent crown and once again I felt like I was among a group of friends and I left there feeling like a million bucks!!! They did a wonderful job I would recommend this place to any & everyone!!! I am so thankful that I found them!

Where do I even start? I need to tell you about what happened to me BEFORE I found Robert DAlfonso----Please read this all the way thru.About 5 years ago, I wanted to get my teeth whitened and my front teeth replaced. I thought I found a great Dentist. He was close by and they advertised as Cosmetic Dentists. Boy was I ever so wrong about that dentist. My entire Mouth after that Dentist, was in the worst shape. I cannot even describe how bad it really was. And what made this so bad, my Daughter was getting Married. I needed my Smile. I thought OMG!!! This is a Nightmare and need to wake up, My teeth were falling out and the more they worked on my mouth the worse it got.As you can see I have given Dr. DAlfonso a 5 Star Rating. If there was a 10 Star option that would still not be high enough. Robert not only fixed my teeth, he fixed ME. I now love to Smile. My life has changed because of the results he gave me. If I had my before and after pictures I would post them.I have referred him to other people and I would guarantee him and his staff to anyone. He truly was a Gift from Heaven in my eyes. My husband and I both now have the healthiest teeth and gums. Austin Cosmetic Dentistry that really delivers results! Dr. Robert DAlfonso met with me for a free consultation when my mouth was in pretty bad shape. I had a crown that had cracked and I was in need of a dental implant. Dr. DAlfonso was able to fix my mouth on the weekend and the atmosphere was so luxurious and comfortable at their Lakeway office that I felt at home. They make the dental work actually tolerable.

Very professional staff; always staying ahead of any future problems that may need addressing, proactive instead of inactive.
