Highly recommend. I’m new to the area. I’ve visited the shop twice now and both were great experiences. A real sense of family and community, but most importantly, a great haircut. I’ll be coming back for years to come and bring both my sons when they’re older.

Friendly. Fast. Reasonable.TR’s is a great option for all your classic barbershop needs. The first reason you go is for the service. Tom and his son make a point to know you and they truly care for their clients; there is a reason their store is usually filled with repeat customers. TR’s feels like one of the last true barbershops in the area.Despite the chair usually being occupied when you arrive, you can usually stop in, get your haircut, and leave all in 30-45 minutes.In terms of prices, there are few barbershops or salons who are more fair than TR’s. Cash is preferred at this barbershop, but they also accommodate credit as well.I have only been a few times, but I hope to become one of their regulars.

Ive been seeing Tom & Jim for four years and have never been disappointed. Tom takes his time and will always check in with you to be sure youre walking away happy. Jim is great with all the kids cuts and keeps the conversation going. Both of these guys know most everyone in town and even though Im not local I feel right at home.

Was easy to book an appointment over the phone. Showed up and was able to start my haircut right away. They were easy to talk to and made sure they knew what you wanted before beginning. I have gone to great clips, sports clips and they have been all bad experiences This experience was 100% better due to the quality of the tools and experience of those cutting hair. If you want a sharp and clean haircut come here. I def will be coming back!!

I usually go to Brazils barber shop in Faribault, but was in the area and decided to swing in. Everyone was very friendly and best of all I left with a great haircut. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

I asked not to have any length taken off the front and top but instead to layer and texturize. After I got home and my very wet hair had dried I realized he had not listened to any of my instructions. My hair is much shorter than I requested. Very disappointed. I assume that’s why he got my hair super wet because after it was said and done he knew he hadn’t listened to what I had asked for

Very friendly, clean. I’m from out of state and when I walked in it felt like a place I could hang out. Definitely go there again if I’m anywhere in the twin cities area

Been going to TRs for a couple years now and Ive had great cuts ever since. If youre looking for a great barber shop this is it.

Great experience at TR’s. Hands down would recommend to anyone. Quick hair cuts. They take about 15 mins and done how you like your hair cut, fun conversation, and the staff treats you like you’ve been coming for years. Also I have had a straight edge shave from there and that was over the top great as well. Steady hand, warm towel, the works if you’ve never got one you need too. If you do a shave and a hair cut you’re in and out in about 30 mins. I would recommend calling to schedule an appointment. Day of can sometimes be full for cuts, but they will work with you to get in the next day.

I drive over an hour to get my haircut here. They are professional, precise, and give unquestionably the best haircut in the state. I 100% highly recommend TR’s

OMG!!!!! Jim did a FANTASTIC job with my hair cut!!!! I have a HORRIBLE cowlick and he found a way to make it work with my hair!!!! I showed up about 5 minutes before and had no wait time to get my hair done on a Saturday!!!! My fiance gave her stamp of approval on both my beard and haircut which was HUGE as she wasnt sure if shed like what I was going for. Jim you are a god with the clippers and the razor!!!! Love it and will be back! Especially since I can support not only a small business and veteran owned company but also support a company that backs our men and women in uniform!!!! I have spent years looking for a true by definition barbershop. A barbershop that comes with the old barber feel that I experienced when I was a kid with my father. I stumbled upon TR’s Barbershop and I honestly could be it be happier. Not only do they give one of the best fades that I have had in a very long time, the conversation and friendliness automatically put me at ease and really made my visit enjoyable. If you love the old school barber feel and value a good ole fashion haircut, this is the place. They have definitely earned my business. I hope to bring my son here when he is old enough.

I brought my 5 year old son to TRs for the first time today and we couldnt be happier. The welcome was warm, the staff is super friendly and the old school atmosphere is classic. Jim did an excellent job on the cut. We definitely found our new Barber shop.

My wife has been telling me for four days straight how much she likes my haircut. Extremely reasonable prices, only $1 than Great Clips except you get a good haircut. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Very friendly, they have a TV and magazines plus chatter for entertainment and so even if there is a wait you wont be bored. They get people in and out quickly but they do not sacrifice quality. Glad I found this place since moving to Lakeville!

These guys are great! They are more than welcoming, and the shop atmosphere is positive with smiles and laughter. We didnt have to wait long, even with a few people ahead of us. I bought my boys here to experience the barber shop, they gave me the thumbs up! My husband stopped in last week and they trimmed him up good, also. Love these guys! The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Its quite obvious Jim, Tom and Jims brother (forgot his name) enjoy what they do. I have the option of sitting in the car while Hubby goes in for his haircut, but I go in anyway. Even though its mostly men in there, the women are made to feel welcome and relaxed. Ill recommend them any chance I get!

TR is an awesome barber. I had the pleasure of sitting in the chair for him just now. He stayed a few minutes late to get me set up. He is relatable but not fake like some barbers are when they small talk you. I dont make google reviews often but this family run shop earned it. I wish I lived closer because I would come every three weeks. Gotta respect a 30 year Navy service member. If you are a man and you want a good clean cut at an old fashioned price point, check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous barber shop! I moved recently and have been looking high and wide for a true barber shop. You know, the place where the person(s) cutting hair went to barber college, barbers license, and does the works. Not a shop that has been bought by a stylist imitating a barber. Anyways, I drove twelve miles to get to TRs, and Im glad I did!I asked for a Princeton and they knew exactly what the cut is! Yes, old school barber terminology. Very professional, great conversation and all. Now, you folks that are stylists imitating barbers, heres what seals the deal. A true barber shop uses hot shaving cream and a straight razor to refine the haircut and shave the unwanted hairs off your neck and sideburn trim. BOOM!!! Fellas, this is where its at! Peace!

So glad I found this shop. Its been impossible to find a place to a proper skin fade on my dark hair since Ive lived in the metro area. The owner and his son were very welcoming the second I walked in. Conversation was great with me and the other patrons in the shop. Jim did a fantastic job made sure to pay attention to what he was doing (from the fading of my beard to making sure my fade was high enough). I will for sure be making the drive from Eagan to come back to TRs moving forward.
