Celina gave me my pedicure and was absolutely amazing. We had wonderful light conversation while I relaxed and enjoyed the service. I brought my niece and sister based upon the online reviews ( and they were extremely accurate) !! AND the support they gave to our essential workers and responders. They actually turned the shop into a mask production when PPE was scarce at the beginning of the pandemic. Amazing services. From the waxing to the spa Pedis. You must support this local business if you can.

Terrible overpriced salon. Ive gone twice and both times were trash. I figured the first time was an isolated event, but no. Also the reception guy said they take card. They do not.. there is an ATM that charges you 35 cents. This salon is too cheap to get a credit card merchant so theyll just charge their customers, thanks! Always the cherry on top after garbage product.They cut corners to expedite customers. My gel polish has chunks, not even enough time to brush off the mountain of gel off my nails. They do not soak off gel here, so go here if you want paper thin nails. The girl didnt even remove the color I had on before. I kept telling her my nail beds were getting hot from her filing down the polish. Terrible customer service mixed with a pushy car salesman. The girls would take breaks when working on me to text or look at their cell phone. They would push other services that I wouldnt want and ask why I didnt want to upgrade my services.I paid $73 bucks for a gel polish manicure and spa pedicure. My manicure was rushed and I still have cuticles that werent trimmed. The gel was painted on my skin and I had to ask for it to be removed which bothered the girl. She attempted to clean up the excess and did a terrible job. I opted for a spa pedicure that had a callus remover and my heels werent done. Both of the girls did not clean under my nails or the corners of my nails. Ill be going to another salon in a week to avoid ingrown nails.Just overall a terrible salon that treats the spa experience as a mill. Ill drive out of town and pay more although I live across the street.

If I could give less I would. I paid for gel for both myself and my daughter and it didnt even last 2 weeks. My nails ripped and were very weak. They cut back the cuticle too far and pretended to not understand me when I was trying to tell them what I wanted. They just do a mediocre job and overcharge.

I walked in on a Wednesday. The service was fast, high quality and highly relaxing. They did take card and the atm was cheap to withdraw money (less than a dollar) which I used to get cash for a tip.

I’m from north county San Diego but come often to Lakeside to visit my cousins. I have been here a couple times to get pedicures and I won’t go anywhere else now. Lilian did my pedi today and she was wonderful. Not to discredit the other lovely technicians I’ve had before because they also gave above par service but Lilian took extra care with a sensitive nail that had been jammed, she gave a 11 out of 10 massage and she was pleasant. I’m definitely requesting her next time. Looking forward to my next visit.

So I booked an appointment with them for both a mani and pedi. I walked in and checked in, I told three people that I had a 9 oclock appointment for a mani and they proceeded to sit me down at a pedi chair and proceeded to do my feet. I didnt know if thats what they wanted to do first and just went with it. Then I guess the Manger came over started to tell me that I messed up and that mani appointment wasnt until 10. I apologized because I was confused because I was told to sit down at the pedi chair after telling everyone who ask me if i had an appointment. *which I specified who I had the appointment with and what time to every single person who asked*That lady who did my toes did a very nice job and I was happy with my nails. The man who did my fingernails did an decent job. Overall I was happy with the work but not happy with the professionalism. They should had done a better job who was booked for what and directing them where to go. Not blaming their customers for a misunderstanding.I will not be going back.

Sandy is awesome. Love my nails. Perfect shape. All the employees are very nice. If youre looking for a good nail salon in the Lakeside area, Crystals is by far the best. Also, a couple reviews mentioned prices are too high. NOT TRUE. I paid $36 for colored (acrylic) powder fill. Their prices ARE VERY REASONABLE. I will definitely be back.

They have front and back outdoor set ups with canopy’s and music. Every time the entire staff is so kind and even with COVID-19 disrupting their business they have managed to still provide and wonderful experience. I feel so safe and they are taking every required precaution and more. They do a wonderful job and continually adapt to the changing government guidelines so that they can continue to see us.

It was very busy when I got there, but well worth the wait. Very much enjoyed it and love the hot stone massage. They’ve definitely gotten way more popular. Tiffany did a great job and was very gentle. Plus the comp drink just tops it off.

Mia did the European pedicure and is the boss! Best massage I have ever had. So glad they are back after the 3 month break!

I come to this salon for Sandy only. She has been doing my nails for over 10 years and have never had a problem with her or her work, I highly recommend her!The salon itself is VERY busy and even chaotic, so much so that it can make it not a relaxing experience and there have been times when no acknowledgement is given upon arrival.That being said, they are always up to date with whatever new trends are in nails and the prices are reasonable, they do post the cost of the nails so you know how much its going to be before you get started.

The ladies there always welcome me with a smile and a hello. Sandy has been doing my nails for over 10 years and I love sharing stories with her. She had watched my daughter and grandkids grow up and I enjoy seeing pic of her girls. 💜Their prices are really good on all of the services that they provide.

I especially loved my nails today. Every time I come in they take their time shaping and filling my nails. Victoria is by far the most creative and is willing to go along with my crazy nail ideas without hesitation. Overall I love this place and am a regular customer because of it :)

Once again they did a beautiful job on my pedicure. One of the things that brings me back is that they start each pedicure with sterilized equipment. Something EXTREMELY important to me.

I have been here before but was hoping things have changed for the better. NOPE! For two fills and a childs polish we paid $90. They cut both my daughter and I, and made us bleed more than once. My daughters nails look HORRIBLE! They are uneven and bumpy. Will not be giving them a third chance EVER! I wish I could give them zero stars.

Such a bad experience. First I was immediately treated poorly after I told the lady doing my nails for the fourth time, that I did not want gel on my toes. She then proceeded to do my manicure, rather than lotion she grabbed acetone and squirted it all up my arm. She then proceeded to remove my gel polish by putting acetone on cotton and using foil. Well, come to find out she didn’t use acetone, she used alcohol. So my gel did not come off even when she tried to scratch it off with her own fingernail! Gross. All the while the lady doing my pedicure proceeded to cut several of my toes, then acted all weird while she was trying to paint over the blood. They were rushed, and rude and unprofessional. I won’t be going back.

I havent been her in 11 years and I must say its the same friendly atmosphere very lovely people who work here and give great nail insights.

I have gone to this place multiple times for a basic manicure and pedicure or. I never felt like they completely painted my already short nails there would be plenty of Room left unpainted by my cuticles. Last week I had gone in and asked for a basic manicure and pedicure or. They wanted me to get my pedicure done first But I said I wanted my manicure done 1st so while I was getting my pedicure done I could sit and do things on my phone. They seemed annoyed by that but followed through with it. When I went to Wav they charged me $55 which seemed more than it normally would be because I got a step down from the normal pedicure that I receive. I was in a hurry to get my kids from school So I decided to call back the next day to ask what the price of a basic manicure was they told me it was $11. I told them that they overcharged me because I just wanted a basic manicure and then they wanted to argue with me and tell me that I had asked for gel I told them when I walked in the door I asked for a basic manicure like I have always gotten in the past. And they wanted to continue to argue with me and say no that I had asked for gel. I told them I have never got 10 gel before because I refuse to pay that much I work with my hands and the Polish is going to fall off within a few days I just want my nails cleaned up and painted so I dont bite them. She said oh you put your hand in the light right I said yeah the machine that supposed to drive my nails she said oh no thats for gel OK I dont know this when I ask for a regular manicure I asked for that I assumed the thing was to dry my nails not for gel. I said I wanted to Talk to the manager and I was told that she was not there but then they gave me her number to call and talk to her. When she answered she asked me why I was calling and I told her that Her Salon gave me her phone number to talk to her about it She told me I dont Know why you are calling Im on maternity leave. I dont know they told me to call thats why I called she said that she would call in find out and give me a call back its been almost a week and I have still heard nothing. I will not go back to this place and I have already told friends and family that go there.

They dont know how to do a nail shape and they cant do simple nails never coming back. The ladie that was doing my nail seemd mad and when i ask to fix the shape she ignoerd me. When she saw a person come in she rush to the next person she clearly kick me out of the seat. But shes taking her sweat time with the person begind me. Never come here i promise you its not worth spending your money.

They now offer complimentary champagne and other drinks when you get your nails done! The people there are actually quite friendly too. The thing is that at times it was uncomfortable to just sit there and the whole place smells very strongly of the products. I know thats normal for a salon but this place is over the top with the smell. Dont go if you have a particularly sensitive nose.

Ive been a client for over 25 year...i wont go anywhere else. And I bring ALL my friends and family. Holly does the best manicures..best massages. I only request her. But....they all are spectacular!!!! If you want the best in East County...come To Crystals!!!!

I went here last week and when I asked for a new set of acrylics the lady looked annoyed and said the wait would be long so I should not get that. I told her that I did want the acrylics. The lady that did my nails was extremely rude and wanted to argue with me on my nail color and the fact that I wanted gel instead of the powder color. She smacked my hand not once but twice and told me to stop being a sissy when I asked her to stop. She did a horrible job on my nails too. She was way to distracted with everything else going on. My nails are uneven, splotchy, and just over all dont look correctly done. When I asked her to fix them she yelled at me and said it was my fault and that I had to pay her an extra 15 dollars to fix my nails. Then two days after I got my nails done my pinky nail feel off while I was just picking up me phone. They were extremely rude when I went back and I will never go here again.

This is second time I have been here. This was a GREAT time. I will go back.

I love the service plus I needed a new nail shop

Used to go here every 2 weeks for acrylics over a year ago. Started going to a salon closer to work but decided to go here after work tonight. The pedicurist was rude and openly made fun of my feet (Ive seen WAY worse btw). Then I went to pay and they told me the card reader was closed (without warning) and that my pedicurist said i would pay cash so I must pay cash. Having only $2 on me, this was impossible. The owner way VERY rude about having to turn it back on. They also changed it so you cannot tip on a card (this is posted NOWHERE) and acted insulted that I gave them a $2 tip. I will not be going back again.

I used to go here all the time for my nails.... But yesterday will be the last time I go here. I had been growing out my nails for the past two months, so that I could have the acrylic on my actual thumb and pinky. The lady I had decided to sand down my perfectly good nails just to put a fake nail back on them. And when I asked her to add more of the powder to my thumb, she looked at me like I insulted her. There are better places to go than here that actually fixed my nails right. I will never be coming back.

Love my Crystals Nails. I have been a client off and on for over 10 years. I have the best service and have become good friends with them. I have had Tori, Sandy and Jason all do my nails and I leave happy every time. I have never gone anywhere else and I never will. And dont forget now they offer a FREE Mimosa with a qualified spa pedicure, my kids have already done that. Tori has also done extensions on my eyelashes and I loved them. Love you guys. My nails often end up on their Instagram and Facebook posts.

Paid $35 dls for a fill and a change of color. I had nail polish all over my cuticles at the end and I was not able to get what I originally wanted because nail specialist said it was going to take to long to make.

They are awful at waxing eyebrows. I went in after growing my eyebrows out for the last two months. She completely took off one of my Eyebrows and the other one is like a fat uneven one. They are completely uneven and ridicolous looking. I have to go to an important event and I have one fat weird eyebrow and one that is like a thin line. I have never been so disappointed by a salon in my life.

These ladies and gents work hard. Great little spot to relax. (They do more than just nails) 😘

I went in this morning around 10 because my grandmother gave me a gift card for my birthday had n appointment to get acrylic nails and was taken in right away but it took her an hour and a half to do my nails while she was doing my nails she was talking to everyone around and rather distracted and ended up nicking 6 out of me 10 fingers I asked her to please be a bit more careful because she was cutting me she said sorry the first time and I was polite n was nice the whole time even after she kept cutting me so When I went home and went to go see my grandmother later on and she asked how it was after explain she was upset and called to which the manager then told her it was MY FAULT or that I was aggressive and assumed I was lying
