Excellent. Stays clean and organized. They are always on time picking the kids up from school. The staff helping with homework has been a blessing. My daughter has been attending since the beginning of the school yr & MIM has exceeded my expectations while going easy on my wallet.

This is funny...I never really post google reviews unless Im super angry about service, but Ill make an exception. Im currently employed at a daycare facility and my side job is to babysit for some of these kids. Within the past few months, Ive been noticing that quite a few of the parents have been opting out of our summer camp program in order to send their kids to Minds in Motion. Today, I was asked to pick up the kids for a family and was very impressed by the facility. Staff were friendly and the environment clean and inviting, especially for kids. Basically, Id love to work here! I sense that this is a great place for mentoring kids. Please hire me!

Minds in Motion has been a blessing in disguise. I found out through a friend about this amazing place. My daughter, now a preteen, has been going here for a year. The previous after school, summer camp program she attended was just not doing it for her. The owners and staff of this facility are beyond amazing. They are former educators. My child never comes home from having a boring day. Between the scheduled field trips and trips to the parks, its any parents dream care fore their child. Upon pick up or drop off there is control of the environment. Not chaotic or out of control. She has made many new friends who attend different schools, real friends. The program is based off the STEM program. So her mind is challenged throughout the day. Every concern, Question, is addressed professionally and efficiently and in private if necessary. I highly recommend Minds in Motion for your children not only for summer camps but after school program as well.Thumbs up👍👍👍 from a single mom reluctant at leaving my child at home....

My boys and I absolutely love the aftercare program! Everyone knows them by name when they enter the door. Great customer service! Highly recommended.

I miss this place ive been going there for 3 years i havent been back in a year

We have just officially enrolled our third child for the summer camp program, and we are absolutely thrilled they were able to squeeze him in...!!! Our soon-to-be 3rd and 6th grade daughters have been attending the summer program and after school program at MiM for the past two years and we have seen a dramatic improvement in terms of their engagement with school work. Both girls have been able to achieve A+ reports from their teachers. I cannot begin to thank the staff enough for their commitment to our kids education. We rate a 5 all around for excellence in service and standards.

MInds in motion was recommended to be by a friend, best choice I have ever made!! Great after school program!!! Kids gained a lot of knowledge and very positive experiences! If your looking for an after school program I highly recommend Minds in Motion!!

Not sure why there arent more reviews for Minds in Motion. My son goes to the 540A location. I cant say enough good things about this after school program. He always has his homework done. It is checked over and they even quiz him on spelling words. There seems to be enough staff to handle all the kids, and if Im not mistaken there is a teacher/employee that sits at a table with them during that time. If they finish early they get to read (which my son doesnt seem to mind doing there because he knows the routine), plus he has gotten significantly more fluent at reading and I attribute part of that to the time he spends reading daily there. After homework certain days they do some type of STEM activity. They seem to put a lot of thought into these activities and crafts and you can tell they arent just doing them to check a box to say they have STEM. They also have board games they do as a group as well some days. The kids then have free time were they can play legos, computer games (which are monitored well), video games, etc. They recently expanded at the 540A location sq footage wise and I heard they are getting some more active games like basketball, foosball, etc (not certain though). They also give the kids a snack and water when they arrive. The main employee I interact with is Kim. She is great with the kids. Very kind, calm, and caring towards them. She also makes sure everything is sanitized each night which is a huge deal during flu season! Also both owners Becky and Becca have been very accommodating whenever I have needed my son picked up from middle school as a drop in. Pickup is by 6:30pm which is later than most programs. I cant recommend this place highly enough. My son gets mad if he is picked up early by my husband and wants to stay as long as possible. That says a lot to me!!

My son started at MIM ( Minds in Motion) at its onset. I love the STEM concept. The owners are teachers and this functions like a well run classroom. There are different themes weekly. The kids are learning by having fun and they dont even realize it. The best part is that his homework is DONE and checked when I pick him up. If the kids have any problems, there are teachers there to help them.The summer program is well staffed and organized. There are multiple field trips during the week.The kids are kept busy still utilizing the STEM concept. The kids are still learning through the summer.My son and I love MIM and the staff, and love the ideas the Mrs. Becky and Mrs. Becca come up with.Lakeland needed a program like this for a long time.Lori Frierson
