I hired them to cut & trim away neighbors’ 60’ out-of-control bamboo forest that loomed over my house and fence line. The price was very reasonable, the crew worked steadily for 6-7 hours and did a great job. They also trimmed up an oak tree in front of the house. All debris and branches were hauled off. And, the crew foreman was very knowledgeable and professional and crew members polite.

From the first walk-through by Johnny to the crew work headed by Alec, I was impressed with the professionalism and skill. Everything was communicated clearly to me and carried out as promised. My trees look great.

We had a huge 70ft+ tall pine crack from the base of the trunk to about 9ft up after July 4. We were soaking in our hot tub and looked over and nearly had a coronary. The huge wind storm the week prior must have cracked it, but we had only returned from our trip that morning so we were scrambling to find a tree service company since we didn’t know how long the tree had before she would fall. Hawthornes was so helpful and reassuring, and even came out an additional time during another strong storm (before the crane was scheduled to take down our tree) and helped us wrap ratchet straps around the 7ft tree base and tighten it together so it would’ve fall. This tree was something else ;(Granted our lawn is bare now without our massive tree, but no one got hurt and our neighbors houses are still standing thanks to Hawthornes Tree Service Lakeland FL. We will use them again for sure!

I hired Jon and Hawthorne’s Tree Service Lakeland to trim some palm trees and a dead limb on a cypress tree. They were fairly priced and professional. They did such a great job that I them hired them to remove, including stumps, a number of large trees in my yard for a new construction project. Again, the price was reasonable, the work excellent, and they were professional as usual. The second job was done in less than three days, which was impressive given the size of the job. I would recommend Jon to all of my friends and family.

John and his crew are an incredible crew of guys! We were in blind based off of a recommendation; in terms of know their quality and reputation as a tree service. They cleared over half of an acre to be completely landscaped and when they were done, it almost did not even need to be landscaped, as it was so clean. John came out and gave an quote for having several oak and cypress trees trimmed up/back to improve the views from the street in front and the water in back. Seven men and two trucks arrived on time to perform the work and did precisely what was agreed upon. They cleaned up so nicely that you would never know they were ever there. He is knowledgeable, came with a 3 other team members, a bucket truck and just did the project in less than 3 hours. The clean up afterwards was outstanding as well.
