We rented a storage container from American Trailer Rentals and the overall experience was great! The delivery driver was extremely professional and the gals in the office were wonderful. We have done business with this company for several years and in the process have spent in excess of $25,000.00 with them.Our last rental experience was all fine until the pickup. They showed up 13 days past their agreement to pickup up their trailer. Due to a communication error they could not haul the trailer. They showed back up several days later unannounced and removed the trailer. In the process they rutted up the property because the driver decided to pull off the road for some unknown reason. After they got the trailer back a week later we received two bills totaling almost $600 with no explanation. After calling them and trying to resolve it all they do is tell you tough luck.You would think after many years of business with them that they would try to work out issues like this. Needless to say we wont be doing business with them again. There are plenty of other rental places in the area that offer the same prices if not cheaper with more professional service.

I was amazed by their responsiveness and how easy it was to get details, and schedule the delivery.We have a pretty narrow gate, and the driver was able to navigate in. And driver made it possible with the use of their tilt trailer with sliding axles. Purchased a storage container for my personal property. They let me come to their office and pick one out. It was delivered on time and the driver was especially helpful getting it as close to my carport as possible.

My experience with ATR was not the greatest Ive ever had, actually it was the worst, the company I work for rents many office trailers for the jobs we perform. We had two trailers schedule for delivery by ATR early in the morning, the delivery was on time but circumstances required a short time delay, we were contacted by the dispatcher of ATR and told that they needed their trucks back for other deliveries, we explained what was going on and agreed to pay any demurrage charges due to the delay being our fault, we were getting ready to off load the trailers after safety briefings (these do take time at a power plant) a few minutes later a very rude person got on the phone (allegedly the owner of ATR) who told me that I did not understand and he did not care about our circumstances and he wanted his trucks and trailers turned around and sent out our gate now!!!. I told his drivers what was going on and to turn around and leave the property (The truck drivers were very professional, courteous, and understanding of our predicament but had no control of the situation). The alleged owners tone was very unprofessional, disrespectful, and uncalled for. I personally will never do business with this company again.
