Jack Hall Jr.s Construction built a 10 x 35 porch across the back of our home in a 55+ community in Lakeland FL. From the moment Jack Hall stepped on our property and gave us a quote, we felt that we were in good hands. He was professional and very astute in helping us understand the process, the permits required, the length of time needed for construction, and the warranty on the completed job. His crew was professional, prompt, kept us informed and their work was amazing. The company even went to the city commission and applied and received a needed variance. Because it was during COVID, we appreciated the fact that they took care of all of that for us. There were a few minor things that we wanted changed at the end of the project and even though we paid the invoice in full, they came back and made all those things right just as we had asked. I recommend them without hesitation for the quality of their work, the fair cost of the project, and their professionalism!

Mr.Hall was very helpful and knowledgeable about our problems with the screens on the lanai and home. They are so deteriorated we were not able to use the lanai and are so pleased he has come up with options to resolve our issues with affordable ideas. We are excited to have his company help us out.

I would give them 5 stars except for the fact it took them 4 months from the time we signed the contract to the date they installed the gutters and downspouts. The work itself, was excellent with installation being fast and professional

So far. Troy was great, very personable, comfortable and he loves my dog. I presented him with a very unusual project. I wanted to remove two sections of Florida room wall and install a garage door. Cant do it, Cant reinforce the header, ... Some ideas cant be done. Wait a minute...how about... Troys 30 plus years of experience gave him a great idea. He called a supplier, they can get it, itll fit right in, right? My estimate is coming, but Im sure Ill commit to the job. Ill give another review after the job gets done.I live in a mobile home park. The management couldnt approve our first idea. Troy came out and we put our heads together. Instead of modifying one wall, we decided to re-build the end wall. Still with out-swinging french doors, but we added two custom width wall sections. This means that this entire wall will be built to current Code, and will increase security for my home. This will cost a few bucks more, but I signed the contract. Looking forward starting construction.

OUTSTANDING WORKMANSHIP is the cornerstone of this lanai extension. The estimators, design planners and installars went far and above other companies interviewed. Even with a small issue with the permit the project went flawlessly.

They replaced the roof on our Florida room in a manufactured home. They removed the whole roof including the ceiing. We had leaks all over. Did a redo on my back porch or lanai! Its okay look, however, am not happy with the threshold, make the room look cheap! This project took some time, since my house had some issues with the place of attachment. On August 31, I contacted there office to pay some of the money, that went well, until I got a call from a person named Theresa stating that I should understand and she wants me to pay like now or by Monday. Ok that tone is not going over easy. Tried calling to get some one else to communicate with me. Here again I got the same person, now asking me questions, why and for what reason! I was told some one would call me. So far am a paying customer, had no problem, until now. I had noticed when it rained water was coming through the seams that was attached to my fascia boards. Informed the office, Brian from the company came out to see, he then called Robert whom I spoke with, reassuring me this will be taken care of. In the interim my house roof is being replaced whilst I waited for the problem to be resolved. My roofer replaced my roof and added flashing to my back roof which helped with the leaking. I convey this to Jack hall jrs construction company, they will not reimburse me any money. I spoke with Chrissy, she was informed that it was not part of the job, mind you if that flashing was not put into my roof which am paying for, the entire lanai would still be leaking. I do have videos of this while it was raining on Thursday evening and through out that time. Way to go Jack hall jrs construction! Am only posting this because you could have made it right by me.

We had a hard roof installed on our screen lanai to make it more usable and expand our living area. Jack Hall Jr. proposed the solution and was able to complete the job ahead of schedule. The final product exceeded our expectations. Great job.

After many attempts to find a company to repair a lanai roof that was leaking water, Jack Hall, Jrs was the ONLY company willing to help find a solution. They were professional from start to finish: provided a scope of work, a quote, showed up on-time, provided quality craftsmanship and communicated every step of the way. Not only will we recommend Jack Hall, Jrs to others, we already have them working again on a new project!

Unfortunately, I have to add this update regarding their commitment to service and their constant lying about completing agreed repairs.Their original work on constructing a new lanai was excellent, but we have encountered an issue with the pavers coming loose.On Thursday May 20th i reached out to Dan who managed our construction project to report an issue, and he assured me that Chuck their paving contractor (who hadnt visited to see the loose pavers) assumed that a lawnmower had done the damage (no lawnmower could access this area).My last contact with Dan was on Monday July 19th when he said that the paving vendor will be out later this week. It is now August 3rd and still no visit to fix a simple issue despite a senior manager telling me this.I would advise anyone considering Jack Halls Jnr for constriction work to think again, and they lie and do on deliver on their promises. I have the full text available of conversations with Dan and their paving contractor should anyone want to see them.

We had a screen room designed and built by Jack Hall Jrs and we must say it is the best investment we made. The materials are of very high quality and look fantastic.We met with Fred our sales representative he was very pleasant, very friendly, knowledgeable and cared about our project. He also explained all the steps of the project. Dan Johnson the General Manager did all the design and engineering work that was needed, submitted for the building permit and kept us informed along the way.Dan and Ray the gentlemen that did the installation where very professional, polite and showed that they cared about the project. They also cleaned up at the end of the project so no trash was left behind. They answered all the questions I had.I would recommend Jack Hall Jrs to anyone who has a home project to have done.

We live on a golf course and have been hit by numerous balls that left cracks in our vinyl siding. It was very difficult to find a company that would do smaller repair jobs. We had the replacement siding available. Jack Hall came out, agreed to the job, and for the fixed price also repaired 4 torn screens. The workman was pleasant and professional. Very grateful for a job well done.

The pandemic delayed completion of the project which was understandable. When they were able to complete the project the installers were all professional and polite. The project was completed in a timely manner and exactly as I envisioned it would look. Any questions that I asked were answered to my satisfaction. I recommend this company.

We had electric hurricane shutters installed in our lanai by Jack Hall, Jr. Construction and Aluminum, Inc. This was my first time shopping for a screen enclosure for my ~10x10 patio. Of course I did what everyone does and shop google searches and go with the first few. Within the first two calls I knew this was the place for me. The first place I called only contacted me through email and didnt provide in depth suggestions to my inquiry or suggest to send someone to inspect. Jack Hall Jr. set up an on-site quote without question and followed mask wearing/safe distance procedures. We met with Troy who brought samples of their screens/metal without us having to ask which was amazing and he walked us through the whole procedure step by step. We then met with Dan who took exact measurements and explained the next steps with me. It was very comforting to know they were working to get the job done the right way. When the installers came they were quiet as mouse, very professional, and punctual. They even put effort in to get my enclosure completed the week of Thanksgiving. The only hiccup I had was our the HOA go figure.

I had all my single pane windows replaced. I also need some golf ball damaged vinyl siding replaced. Troy suggested running the vinyl verticalLy instead of horizontally. It made all the difference. It looks so much better. The installation went smoothly. Very happy with everything.

We had hurricane shutters and roll down shutters installed. The shutters were black and went replaced the former plastic shutters at the front of the house. The remaining 6 windows were roll down. Frankly I enjoyed the watching the workers. They were willing to talk about what they were doing and illustrate the opening & closing of the shutters. I hope I dont have to use the shutters though.

I recently bought a home in Lakeland Florida and not a full time resident yet. My screened porch was leaking really bad where it meets the composite roof. These guys were able to accommodate my schedule during my visits, recommend a repair and scheduled it for my next visit.Onto the actual repair. Brian was my technician. Hands down extremely hard working, knowledgeable. He explained exactly what he would be doing for the next two days even going as far as inviting us to take a look at our issue. Brian went right to work in the hot humid heat we were experiencing. As promised he was done in two days. The following morning we received a call from Brian checking in with us because we had a small storm come through. NO leaks! So kind that he called and followed up with us.Couple days later and the sky opened up and poured down. Zero leaks. We are very happy with our choice of using Jack Hall Jr. Roofing. Somethings it can be scary when you are not from the area or know of reputable companies. We found that in this company. Thank you all and most of all Brian.

Fred tried to sell me powdered coated aluminum gutters for over $20 a foot. He tried to take advantage of me because Im a senior female. My deceased husband was a siding installer and I know all about siding and gutters. There is no such thing as powdered coated aluminum gutters and the going rate in Winter Haven for gutters is $6.00 a foot. This company is preying on seniors who dont know any better.

The installation was cohesive and excellent quality.The guys work well together. We had a 16 by 19 cage installed in one day screening followed the next morning and we love it ! ... We contacted Jack Hall Jr.’s to obtain an estimate on replacement windows and patio door (door wall for you northerns like me). We booked an appointment for about a week later. Jason and Fred were running early, and called ahead to check if that would be ok. I so appreciated that!Both men were knowledgeable and professional. They know their products, and it’s obvious they are proud of the company they represent. They measured, told us their recommendations, and left the ball in our court. Zero high pressure tactics like we had received from another company.We chose not to replace all of our windows. It didn’t seem cost effective for us personally. We DID choose to have our patio door replaced. All I can say is WOW. What a smooth process! Once we decided on the door, Dan called and set a time to come measure one more time, which he did quickly. Six weeks later we were notified our door had arrived. The installers Misty and (her husband... shoot. I forget his name) did a great job! They were also very friendly, professional and cleaned up after themselves. The door is gorgeous, and I can already feel the difference in heat exchange with the quality of the construction and the glass.There was a tiny issue when the inspector came. Truly nothing significant. I called Jack Hall Jr.’s and left a message for Jason. The installers were back out early THE NEXT DAY to correct the minor problem. The inspector just left again, and all is well!I would recommend Jack Hall Jr.’s over and over. You can believe they will be my first call for any big projects my husband and I don’t wish to tackle ourselves.

Cheap painted finish on aluminum screen room. Fred, the salesman, claimed they were powder coated. When I asked the manufacturer about this they laughed.

I had an appointment set with Fred he was an hour late then he gave me a price for a screen room with out even using a tape measure. When my wife asked how can you give us a price with out measuring he said “ babe I am just that good” real professional of him.

The job done by Jack Hall Jr. Construction was wonderful. I had a window replacement on my home, excellent job with professional installation. The installers did a great job and removed all debris, very neat and clean. Also my new screen room is a welcome addition to my home, another fine job done by this company. Would never consider using anyone else. They are the best, thank you for making my home more beautiful and enjoyable!

My wife has been the one dealing with these people. Im sick of hearing her talk about how difficult it is to get ahold of them and actually get the work done. We had a contract signed for months before they ever decide to call and schedule work. cant ever get ahold of Dan, the manager. Not really sure what he does for a living since he cant seem to get his subs together and schedule. Had Graham finish the job, we found out Jack didnt even pull a permit.

Waited 45 minutes for them to show up. I called. Said they would call them and let them know I was still waiting. Another 45 minutes go by. No call from them...no show. Just called and cancelled. You would think they would have the courtesy to call and tell me they were running late. Bet they wouldnt set outside my house and wait for me to come home!@

Knowledgeable crew good work ethic, honest unlike some out of Lakeland. This is the second time Ive hired them & Id hire them again if I have something needed done.Second time around second thought they didnt pass inspection, & have yet to correct the issues I called, & reported issues, yet no response. I called again today & she says she will forward the info. Hopefully your info gets to your reliable, trustworthy workers before mine gets to the state attorney.

Just recently had their team come out for a broken window, due do to a golf ball. A representative came out described everything about his new window replacements.,and answered all our questions entirely. Pricing was very competitive, plus their product is second to none after further review on others . Competition was informing us it would take up to 8 weeks, not to mention a inferior product . We had ours installed within 2 weeks, and Daniel Johnson, General Manager worked it around our schedule, due to we had to be out of town for 3 days, and did not want a broken window left behind. Could not be more pleased or satisfied. The only people we will use in the future . Mike

Jack Hall Jr’s Construction Aluminum did a lot of work at my place in Lake Wales a few years ago, including a roof-over, new vinyl siding, and double-pane windows throughout. The staff was very courteous and professional and finished the job in a timely manner. The reinforcements on the roof have held up through several hurricanes of which passed directly over this area. The most recent being in 2017 when the power was out for a week. There was no damage at my place, although some of the neighbors sustained substantial damage.I highly recommend Jack Hall Jr’s Construction Aluminum. Mostly likely the best in the business!

We used Jack Hall Jrs Construction and Aluminum for a screened enclosure that we added to the back of our home. They did an amazing job! We had an aluminum roof installed with shingles added as well. The screened room is gorgeous! They walked us through the process and the room looks even better than we expected. All of our neighbors have been complimenting our addition. Now how many workers do you know that would have even cared. Its all in how you treat people and as for us, we have been treated VERY kindly by everyone, that goes a long way with us. The salesperson was very nice, but the estimate was very very high for the project we were doing, it was unachievable, not good.

Jack greatly improved the patio on our house by installing a corrugated roof panel system, complete with skylights. This was done almost 10 yeas ago now and doubled our outdoor living space. It still looks great and we have had zero problems. We would highly recommend him for any work in the Naples/ Ft. Myers area.

He charges ten times the price of the going rate for storm shutters. He takes advantage of people. Do not trust this company.

They were honest and up front. They gave me a different quote and it was ok. I did not get the work done, due to the situation at the house. Explain that to them they understood. But I will say they are honest people.

Now Ive had some very negative experiences with contractors so I was apprehensive about even getting estimates. I had 2 different appointments before having Jack Hall Jrs come out and I was impressed. The sales manager Kevin came and took the time to listen to my concerns and questions. We talked for an hour before even discussing prices. They were not the cheapest estimate but I felt I was going to get the best job. Boy, was I right!Jack Hall Jrs did a great job converting and insulating my room addition into a home studio space. It was definitely worth the time and price to have everything done right. Dont be fooled by the five star reviews. We hired this company to remove a small paver patio,pour a larger concrete pad and install a screen cage. There was very little communication and zero supervision of the subs. Long delay of three months from deposit. Granted,part of the delay was,according to the foreman,due to county building nit picking. Surely this was not the first time highlands county was involved in a small installation.No daily clean up of debri,nails,lunch wrappers and soft drink containers left on site for two weeks. Finally,after three calls to office it was removed. Dead grass is slowly recovering.The absolute biggest complaint is that our exiting irrigation system is partially destroyed. The concrete subs just capped the line under the concrete and tossed the heads and line to the side. When questioned regarding this the reply was I just know concrete. There was no effort made to have the irrigation pros reroute the line so we would not have a water line beneath the pad.So now we have one zone totally inoperable and are looking at major expenses to have the system in working order.The screen cage installers caught two mistakes in the plans before they began working or we would have had a door opening onto an existing flower bed. One of the support beams had to be notched to fit an electric outlet because the concrete was not extended to the proper place,which was discussed on day one.We are very disappointed in this companys work and would not recommend them to anyone. In fact,we have given their name to our community administrator as a do not call company.

Totally unprofessional, requested a quote and Kenny came out unprepared. He did not bring anything to give us a quote, forgot his catalog and said he was not preared. Came back the next evening unprepared again. I expected better customer service out of your company. I guess my job wasnt big enough to receive that. Very disappointed. You wasted my time two evenings in a row.
