I called to make an appointment was told to come in went and they was busy. I asked if I can make an appointment for Friday, they told me they dont do appointment on Friday. I walked in on Friday sat for 25 mins for them to say they cant take me come back Monday or Tuesday...I said your told me to come back today (Friday).. Very Rude...and unprofessional.... What happened to good customer service...

Amazing nail art. I was very happy with the outcome and the owner was very nice and accommodating. This is not the kind of place to go if you want in and out, they do quality nails here and take their time. I will definitely be back! :)

I got there pretty early before the rush. Kim did my nails and I loved it ! This salon is literally a half a mile away from my home (which is a bonus) I peaked at some of Ty’s work and he also is pretty talented. Definitely will be going back !

I love this place I come here every time I get my nails done and they don’t disappoint me. They will talk to you and be nice very friendly. They even put on shows or music and I love that. My nails are always the way I want them, they are very clean. They take there time with your nails and do a very nice job.

I have been here twice. Both times were not good. The owner is rude and doesn’t like to listen. He brags about how good he is. I wanted dip nails but they didn’t do dip so I had to get acrylic. The first time the nail tech basically wanted to do what he wanted to do not what I requested. The second time, when they were removing my acrylic nails it left my nail bumpy with glue. The nail tech said “oh that’s what happens get a darker color then you can’t see it.” So, I went to another salon and they fixed it same day. Despite that I tried to go again a third time and the lady was closing 2 hours early but asked me what I wanted done. When I told her just a repaint she said “oh no I’m closing.” Basically if I was getting something more expensive she would’ve stayed open. I’ve seen the owner reply poorly to poor ratings instead of trying to resolve matters.

They were very rude very unprofessional when I asked did they take walk ins one person said no in then the next person told me they cant take me in thru her hand up for me to get out I was not rude nor disrespectful thats not my character I left respectfully but will never be going back

Don’t make an appointment at this place because they will not honor it 😡. I made an appointment at Cover Nails and waited for my nail tech to finish with his current client. There were several people waiting when I walked in. My Tech finished with his client and decided to take someone waiting rather than honoring my appointment. Not good business!!! I will not be back!

I was here 2 weeks ago. It was close and I had free time. The owner is super relaxed and jovial, his character is an acquired taste but really knows his stuff! I was overall please with how they came out. If youre on a tight timeline this is not the place for you they are busy and focus on what they are doing.

Very rude every time my 15 year old daughter goes to get her nails done by Brooke she’s treated as if she doesn’t exist no hello how can I help you nothing.(Nothing against Brooke) Brooke is the ONLY person there that acknowledges my daughter & services her. I will no longer allow my daughter or myself to seek services from them. I will take a further drive where we will feel welcomed. Nothing negative to say about Brooke she’s great but the others are rude there.

My wife says they are Awesome. Very relaxing and fun. Cool funny down to earth people. My wife and daughters Love them.

Great experience. I have been going here for years and never had a bad experience. Three do an excellent job. I have move to the other side of town and tried other salons, but I keep going back to Thai and Kim. They take extra care to make sure my nails are perfect.

I was one of your first customers when Cover Nails opened. I was there every two weeks for five years. I moved away, than back to Lakeland and came to you for help.A salon was recommended to me and so I went there to get my nails done after not having acrylics for years. The job was less than up to par so I came to cover nails for help. I was willing to pay whatever it took to make my nails live up to my expectations. I called for three days to get in and was finally told to walk in on the third day. I came in and was asked what was needed, at which time I asked for my nails to be reshaped/painted/whatever it took. Thai said “if we fixed every salons mistakes then we wouldn’t make a living. Come to us without nails and we’ll do them right. I’m going to pass on fixing.” What?I came to this salon knowing without a doubt that your services are great and that is the treatment that I get. I will never recommend this business to anyone again because of the rude comment. So do you not remove nails?You had an opportunity to build a relationship and you blew it. You had the ability to make and retain another customer but you didn’t. I hope you all get a chance to review your actions and treat potential (or past) customers better in the future.

Visited this place today first place out of a few I was actually impressed with. Very nice people and they take their time and do a very good job.

I used to love getting my eyebrows done here, they would do them nice and clean them up for me. Recently theyve started slacking, when they waxed my eyebrow one of them was round and the other one was square. They also waxed my eyebrow too short and didnt clean them up right. I do not recommend getting your eyebrows done here.

It seems this place has a lot of faithful customers. Im glad theyve had a good experience. I, will not be going here. A while back, I was scrolling through nail salons looking at reviews and prices. I must have accidentally clicked a low star, because the next day, I had a scathing Facebook DM. The owner sought me out, contacted me privately called me a B**** and told me never to go to the salon. I apologized and deleted my review. But Ive thought about this lately, and decided to let everyone know. The work and prices might be great, but you should know how the treat people, even if they make an accident.

No customer service! I walked in no one greeted me. I said hello & asked if they had any pamphlets with service rates. Both nails technicians look at me & shook their heads no and continue doing nails. How rude! No one asked what services I was interested in or anything! They will never get a coin from me! The nail shop smelled awful! Like garlic!

After struggling through terrible results at 3 other salons, I found Cover. I am SOOOO glad I discovered them! They are THE BEST I’ve ever seen. They can literally do anything you want! Mermaid. Mix/match. 3D Flowers. Ombré. Marble. Chrome. Sunsets. Cat eye. Anything and everything. Their atmosphere is relaxed and they make everyone feel welcome. They knew their regulars by name and were genuinely interested in their lives. I was there 9/14/18. My google maps app sent a notification to my phone asking me to review my recent places 🤣

Don’t waste your time coming here. Rudeness and arrogance is all I am going to say.And owner just save your time in replying me with a rude or nasty comment because you cannot handle criticism....I had my nails removed yesterday WITHOUT my concent and was told they don’t fix other salons nails.. it’s a customer’s problem if they want to have a fill on three week nails and if doesn’t last it’s on them not you. Now, what is on you is removing nails without explaining and explaining why you’re doing it right after. Specially when you’re cutting off and damaging MY nail.I used to talk positive about you guys and bring you people but when something is wrong it needs to be said as well...And again, save your nasty comment if that’s the only thing you know to reply to your disappointed customers.

I called to ask the price of removing dip was and for a basic manicure and the lady said 1 moment she passed the phone over to a man who said they dont give pricing over the phone what kind of answer is that I told them specifically what I wanted any other place answers the question and thats it why dont they well I guess the B.B.B. should call and ask for pricing...

I will not return to this place. Was treated unfairly and rudely. Was told dont have time to do my nails after sitting 15mins but instead the tech took the next customer after me. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. First time going to this place and will be my last.

My daughter went there today, she did a AWFUL job on her eyebrows, we have went there for 7 years and this is the second time they have screwed them up,guess we shouldnt have went back after the first time but tried to give them the benefit of doubt since we went there so long, she gets in a hurry and messes up, i get eyebrows dont bring in alot of money, but we still want them done correct! Ive read some of these responses from the owner and find it sad they just want to try and fight back,instead of listening to what the customers are saying, we have referred a lot of people to them over the years, so its sad they have lost our business plus people we sent there!!

The owner is extremely rude. I asked on multiple occasions when I would be able to make an appointment and they said to call. I called, and the owner said the person I wanted to do my nails refused to do them. I drove there in order to clear up any misconceptions and the owner continued to speak for my nail tech, then told me to go elsewhere. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. Just look at his responses to complaints! Not an ounce of manners. Definitely recommend taking your business somewhere else. Unbelievable. Whether the experience was good or bad is completely contingent upon the actions of the business. My previous experiences with the salon were neither outstanding nor terrible...until now.2. Per my review, youll see that I DROVE to the salon to ask Kim if I had done something wrong. As you can see, I meant no harm. And believe it or not, she has her own voice and is capable of sharing her own thoughts/concerns.3. This is the salon I used (notice past tense) when my primary salon is fully booked. But fear not, I wouldnt be caught dead in this salon again.4. If you would like a review of the OVERALL quality of the salon based on my previous experiences:The salon is okay. The polish choice is limited, and while the polishes are of prestige brands, they are all old. The salon isnt the MOST sanitary (i.e. the foot basins dont utilize the plastic casings that the other salons use to keep everyone safe), but they do clean them, and open new kits for your pedicures – a plus. If you articulate EXACTLY what you want, the job WILL be well done. The atmosphere isnt the greatest: distasteful music/videos play constantly (beware if you bring children), they dont always make you feel welcome, and the decor makes the salon feel cluttered – like getting a pedicure in a closet. Would not recommend getting your eyebrows done here if you dont have a CLEAR idea of what you would like them to look like beforehand, because they WILL come out uneven. The owner gave my daughter a manicure once and he left one of her fingers bleeding (yikes) but the manicure looked good so...thats a win? And if you read any of his responses to negative reviews, you know what to expect out of customer service.Also a note to the owner: When attempting to run a business of repute, MANNERS go a long way. When people have a negative experience at your establishment, you try to rectify the situation. Also, update your polishes and redecorate.

STAY AWAY! Came in for a fill and they literally use pliers to BREAK AND YANK off the nail first and then add a new set. The most painful thing Ive even had happened to my nails. I guess they have no clue on how to use files or soaking like any other normal salon. Also the color I wanted was a pale pink in the *powder* bottle and it dried off fucsia. The place and owner arent welcoming or inviting its an uncomfortable place with terrible decor and bad taste.Update: I never said the word polish but lets rephrase to your liking the POWDER looked pale pink when in reality was fucsia. No I wasnt at two places at the same time I went to your salon once and it was soooo BAD that Im never going again and I found another salon UNITED NAILS which is AMAZING. Seems like youre the one that has no clue how Google reviews work.PS: I feel so bad for you. Perhaps instead of attacking your customers you should listen to what they are saying and improve your business but oh well... You dont need to ban me sweetie, youd have to pay me way more than what you make in a year to get me to step foot on your nasty joke of a nail salon ;) at least you know insults in Spanish look how cute of you!

I came in here the other day on a saturday morning with my boyfriend, we wanted to get mani pedis. When we got to the door we were greeted with rude stares from not only the people working but the customers that were there. They said it would be almost an 1 1/2 wait and there were only 2 people in front of us. We decided to leave because the place looked bad and we didn’t feel very welcome. We went to the nail place next to Ross and Dicks sporting goods and had a much better experience than I’ve ever had at cover nails.

I am new to the area and had been looking for a good salon for a few months...The couple of salons I had been to in the Auburndale/Lakeland area I was not completely satisfied with due to their quality of work...my hair dresser Bethany Delisle told me about cover nails so I went and as soon as I walked in I loved it...I got the best pedicure I’ve ever had since being in the area...and the woman did a beautiful job on my colored acrylics...they have lasted me 3 weeks so far, as they should if done of quality...cover nails is now my go to salon from here on out every time I want my nails or toes done. Thanks ❤️❤️

Got my nails done there twice and both times my nails did not last 3 weeks on.. first time i went there a whole nail came off and i didnt even feel or notice how. The second time:-a week after a got them done my nails were lifting Im guessing the use cheap products. Both times i tried someone different Because i thought it was the nail tech that didnt do a good job preping the nail but its actually their product.

I was referred to cover nails by a few friends. I was always having issues with my nails popping off with in a week or two.I went to cover nails, overall, they did a good job, my only complaint is my pointer finger was done crooked, but i place that blame slight on myself for not paying attention. My nails lasted 2 1/2 weeks before i went to have them filled in, cut down, and painted. They were able to do the design i wanted, and my nails looked amazing. Its been almost 2 weeks and i have no chips in my polish. I would suggest this place to my friends but i would joke and tell them to watch their pointer fingers. It is a little more pricey than other places, but i have no problem paying for good QUALITY work!
