The customer service in this place is beyond great, they are always willing to help and clear up any questions with great knowledge. One of the best places in lakeland to get any musical instrument you need. I just rented a cello for my daughter and I was amazed at the variety of instruments and how helpful they were.

My sister was a missionary for 60 years about 30 years she bought her equipment from Carlton Music I recently had them to repair a Banjo and other musical instruments and they were very professional/knowledgeable and friendly.

Great local music shop! I rented an instrument from them for middle school and high school band. Very fair pricing and instrument was great condition. Have since bought 2 guitars from them and multiple accessories. Friendly and helpful staff. On my most recent visit, thier stock looked low but Im sure its because theyve been selling like crazy.

I drove 2 hours round trip to get a few guitars here today after seeing them online, and seeing reviews for the store. Not that they need another 5 star to show theyre a quality place, but they earned it. They set the guitars aside for an hour while I drove down to make sure no one grabbed em on my way. Everyone there extremely friendly and ready to help. Owner or manager even came over to say hi. Guitars were ready to go, looked great.People hate on Guitar Center, I have no problem with them, but its always nice to support a smaller family owned business, and with what I was buying being the same/cheaper than Guitar Center, happy to support them.Thank you. Im sure Ill be back.

Man they took a 12 year old LEFT HANDED lbanez bass that lbanez dont even make parts for anymore... And completely transformed this guitar into a piece of art. Went above andBEYOND finding every part. Including thi bridge and totally re built this bass. Ita 10 rimes better than new!And it was VERY INEXPENSIVE. I expected way higher. So i bought an amp! Gotta love the Carlton!

The staff here are extremely helpful and friendly! I had an old electric guitar that needed some wiring repair. They were able to do it on the spot and for a reasonable rate.

What an amazing group of employees this store has. 3 of my kids have instrument rentals here. Everyone is super knowledgeable and eager to help. When someone says they will research something and call me, I write it off. When they said that, they called me the next day with an awesome answer.I may delete this review and write it again so I can give another 5 stars.

Carlton Music is a great alternative to the big music stores. You get that mom and pop feel with the personalized attention that is so welcome especially when youre just starting out. I enjoyed my experience there.

The Carltons have contributed to this community for over 40 years. Rich wellspring of talent. Glen is a brutal bassist. Mike is the best guitar tech I know of.

The Carltons have been deeply involved and supportive of local musicians for at least 40 years. They are musicians themselves and regularly perform. Not gonna get cheap prices...but the people and support are really great.Glen is a monster bassist.

Anything u could want from a music store. They have everything. Its small enough that u wont lose the other ppl u came with, but big enough to choose from a large variety of things for ur music needs. U can try out anything right there friendly, helpful associates, easy parking, loads of instruments & accessories. Keep ur smaller businesses open by shopping with them instead of the bigger commercial places or u might get stuck paying way more than u would if they werent here.

The folks are friendly and lots of smiles, but I was treated in a very professional manner as well. The clerks and the repair tech are very knowledgeable and made my visit a great experience. I will be back.
