This review is going to cover three main issues I had with this Service center. 1. Customer service 2. Quality of work 3. Treatment of customer vehicles.1. Customer service:We scheduled an appointment for a Monday, 7:30 AM. I was told it would take 4 hours at most and we should know something by noon. 4 hours turned into days with zero communication from the dealership, after calling and inquiring I interacted with who I believe was the service manager, who was extremely rude. Not once did he apologize for the lack of communication but scoffed when I stated this service has been awful. Regardless, he said that I would know by early lunch the next day, that of course did not happen and two additional days passed. My service advisor called and immediately apologized for the miscommunication as he was under the impression the service manager would be calling me but never did, so I fell through a crack and he apologized once again (I know he is telling the truth because the service manager told me he would personally make sure to reach out to me, which he obviously never did.) I received the diagnostic and the repairs got started. (The repairs did take three times longer than quoted BUT my service kept me informed the entire way, got me a loaner car, and worked with my warranty company to ensure all fixes would be completed, he did an exceptional job in rectifying the previous communication issues, truly. To reiterate, it seems to be a management/leadership issue and not a personnel issue)Picking up my vehicle are when the real issues started.2. Treatment of customer vehicles:My paint was damaged during the storage portion of my repair. I asked what all the marks were and was informed that tape was applied with plastic to dry out my vehicle/prevent mold due the water leak. I was also told this should come off and is not a problem. The tape will not come off and since my car was left for weeks in the Florida sun with the tape, it has damaged the paint on my vehicle. I have attached pictures. It is obviously dried tape as the mechanic stated.3. Quality of work:They fixed one component in my AC (resolving the leak issue) but now I have issues with my AC cooling. When receiving my car, the AC took forever to cool down and he informed me to keep an eye on it because something may have been done incorrectly that is messing with the AC, which is pretty common with AC work. Over the past week the problem persists and it is now having issues cooling completely. (something that was NEVER an issue before and occurred immediately after an AC part was replaced.)I have reached out to the dealership numerous times with no help. Additionally, I have reached out to the email listed on these reviews with no response, it is obviously a way to show face and not a means for an actual resolution to issues as no one ever responded to my inquiries. I have never left a review for any business, let alone a negative review one but felt as though prospective customers would see this before doing business with the service department.It is painfully obvious that this place is mismanaged and lacks a culture of accountability. I will provide any edits to this comments as/if concerns are addressed to keep it as accurate as possible.

Julian Tesoro was excellent to work with. Very attentive. I had a long list of vehicles to test drive and he was patient. The dealership ship has a very relaxed atmosphere which is nice. No high pressure feeling. I knew what I wanted and when it came time to deal and purchase they worked with me. The vehicle I really wanted had some scratches on the tail gate bumper and he made sure that was taken care for me. I had also forgot my Chrystal disco ball on the mirror of the car I traded in. Didnt realize it until the following day so I called him. He made sure I had it when I picked up my vehicle from repairs. I told him I know its just a disco ball but Ive had it since my twenties . Its been hanging from the mirrors of most of the vehicles Ive driven. He also on a triple digit day when the detail guys were sent home because it was too hot to work outside cleaned out my vehicle himself for me to drive home. Now thats customer service. Ill have this vehicle a long time but Im already referring people to him. Hes very wonderful and kind.Thanks for all that you do!Lisa Bryant

I came in to have tie rods and bushings replaced. The parts were not available. I was told it would be a couple of weeks. After months, and several calls, the manager let me know that there were parts there. My husband brought my car in and picked it up later that afternoon. There is still grinding and squeaking coming from the bushings. They have not been replaced. I have been given the run around, told I need to speak to my service provider, but she is never there. I call back when Im told she will be in, she still isnt there. Im very disappointed that Im locked into a car payment for a complete lemon.

We have a car rental company in Orlando. We prefer to bring our entire fleet for service. This is due to Naca in the service area. He is the best service advisor I’ve dealt with out of all dealerships. His communication is above average, his knowledge exceeds expectations. He is always kind and professional. Besides that, he is simply a nice guy and always focused on the customer. Kudos to this dealership for hiring the right people that make a difference.

Great experience. Emil Clark was very patient. I test drove the Rogue, Rogue Sport, and Kicks. He answered all of my and my friends questions. He listened to us go back and forth about it. He drew up two offers for two cars for me to decide. It was very well done. Mike W in finance was very nice and let me text my friend throughout the process to double check numbers and plans.

Our experience at Jenkins Nissan was a positive one. From the moment I called the dealership and spoke to Natalia Tello to inquire about the vehicle we were looking for, to the time she put me in contact with Luis Romero in sales who kindly assist us with the negotiation. With the car shortage there is at this time, there was not that many dealerships that had what we were looking for. I called around several Nissan dealerships in Central Florida and Jenkins Nissan was one of the few that had the car available with no extra fees due to the shortage. Many thanks to the sales team and management to make this sale happen and also to Al for wrapping it up towards the end.

I trusted this dealership to service my vehicle. I just went in for an oil change and to have my brakes inspected. Turns out I needed a couple of parts replaced. They said it’d be 3-5 days before the parts get in but I’d be updated. Never heard anything after that window period. After a week an a half with no communication from this dealership nor a car I called. I was told the parts still aren’t in and would get a call once they’re in. Another week went by and no update. I called to check on my vehicle and the parts were Jacksonville. AFTER 3 WEEKS OF NO CAR. If I had known it would’ve took this long I would’ve asked for a rental (should I really even have to ask??) I understand things happen but any successful service business has great communication with their customers which this dealership lacked. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this dealership for any car service.

Visited on 8/31 had a great customer service experience. When I asked at the end of my visit how was everything the serviceman shared that everything was great my car, tires were good, etc. A week later my battery dies and Im stranded. Tow company came jumped my car. The next day I get up and go to Oriellys to get my battery tested and found out my battery was bad. 😣😣😣

My service advisor, Angela, was excellent with her customer service. I was waiting to get checked-in and noticed other service advisor’s either not on the phone or with a customer making an eye contact with me but didn’t have the courtesy to ask if I was taken care of. I noticed Angela taking care of a customer and she noticed me. The moment she got off with her customer, she approached with a smile and acknowledged my wait time. Her smile made me happy but her approach was second to none.

My husband made an appointment weeks ago for a recall repair on our new Sentra. He went this morning at his appointed time, 9:40 a.m. He sat in the waiting room for three hours. Finally he saw our car being put up on the lift. He watched as the technician performed the fix which took five minutes. Needless to say this is unacceptable. And from all of the bad reviews we’ve read, it sounds like this is an ongoing problem. A customer in the waiting area told my husband that after arriving for a service appt that had been scheduled weeks earlier, he was told he might as well go home, they wouldn’t be able to get to his car that day. Totally unacceptable to schedule appointments, keep the customers waiting for ridiculous lengths of time (hours) before even looking at the car. We are long time Nissan customers but this is the last time Jenkins will see us.

I have been doing business with Jenkins since 2017. During this period I have purchased 2 new Rogues. Over the years, the quality of care and attention in sales, service (repairs/oil change), not to mention customer service have steadily declined. To be honest, I should not have purchased the second vehicle, but I foolishly did. The current sales staff is very inexperienced and not very knowledgeable with their products. The service department is the most dysfunctional and unapologetic unit, which brings me to my most recent visit. I had an appointment for an oil change, got there on time, checked in with service agent and then proceeded to the waiting room. Shortly after the same service rep.came and informed me that the wait would be 3 hours. I explained to him that I drove 1 1/2 hours to get there and that I had an appointment at which point he suggested that I should have gone to Jiffy Lube. To add more insult, he further went on to inform me that they are a full service shop so vehicles requiring repairs takes precedence. In other words, I was important to Jenkins when I was spending over $30k to buy the vehicle but now I am insignificant because there is no money in doing a oil change. I spoke with the manager and he made the situation more upsetting. His attitude was like it is what it is. He also commented that people are coming as far as Orlando because of the price of the oil change. My response to him was customers can no longer drop in, one MUST make an appointment so why do I need to wait 3 hours for a 15 minutes task. All I got was a shrug.... no apology. This is the end of Jenkins for me. I will not be going back for nothing, not even the special rate oil change, which by the way is one of the perks when you purchase a vehicle.

I had a bad experience when I made an appointment for oil change. One of my tires was deflated. They checked it and they told me it was no good and told me I had to buy a new tire for more than $200. The tire could get fixed, but they didnt want to fix it. I asked them to put air in the tire so I could go to another place and they didnt do it. I went to another place, and the tire got fixed with no problem. People at Jenkins, all they want is your money. Be careful.

Went to get my oil changed and tires rotated in my truck. Two hours later I get my truck back with a dent in the back passenger door where the handle now sticks when opened. I do not recommend going here for any maintenance work ever.

We worked with Emil who was great. He stayed late after closing to put us in the two new rides we wanted, got us the deal we needed, and was patient while we looked at almost every model on the lot. Highly recommend.By the way, large inventory on the lot which helped us choose. We looked at Kia and Honda who had almost nothing and they kept trying to sell us on used cars which we did not want. Emil didn’t do that. He listened to our wants and worked to meet them.

Not ever coming back! The service was terrible! I waited four and a half hours for an oil change and stop lamp recall. Today I went to Brandon Nissan for the same service on my other car. I only waited one hour for the same repairs! From now on I will be going to Brandon Nissan for all repairs for both of my cars.

Zero stars !!!! They need to start holding their employees accountable. I came in with a recall and after the recall was fixed I was charged for alignment that wasn’t needed prior to them fixing the recall. The employee robin not only put me in a versa as a loaner car when i have 4 kids but also mislead me. Its a pandemic people aren’t volunteering to pay for things to be fixed when they weren’t broken in the first place. It was then brought too two separate managers and all they did was make excuses. Don’t buy from them they raise price tag on your buy in order to make money on a trade in and they also charge you for damage to your vehicle that THEY CAUSED !!!!!

I made an appointment prior visiting the dealership. I waited 4hr and 30 min for an oil change and tire rotation. When I go to the desk to ask how much longer I had to wait, they tell me that they have called me before and my car was ready a long time ago. I went once to the bathroom, very briefly. No more calls were made for me in the waiting room, no calls to my phone either. Servicer knew I was waiting in the waiting room.

I went in for a recall problem. The letter I received from Nissan said it should take an hour. The guy at the service department said that it would take an hour and a half. I had an appointment and I was early. After they had my car for over 2 hours I asked what was taking so long. He said its like a doctors office, the appointment was for 12 but it might be an hour or more before someone actually starts working on your car .

Went in for a flat repair & an oil change, got told 2 1/2 hours. Fine with that. 4 hours later I ask the guy who took my info how much longer & they hadnt even started it. 2 hours later my car was finally done, but watching through the shop window the tech who was working on my car walked off & started chatting at a nearby toolbox. 20m later he finished & closed my hood & walked off. Chatted some more, hung out for a few minutes at another car talking, pulled another car in, then talked more before backing my car out of the shop & pulling it out front. They have a giant productivity issue & nobody seems to care at all.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT JENKINS NISSAN. this is the last time i will bring my car here. ive had an oil change appointment for over a month. after 2 hours of waiting, i went to ask the service desk how much longer. they hadn’t even started my car as it was “next” in queue. they were not empathetic whatsoever about the wait time & clearly didn’t care about my frustration. ive been coming here since 2012 & it’s only getting worse & worse. spend the extra money somewhere else. busy or not, there is no excuse for s*** customer service.

Dropped my vehicle off for AC work and they said there was nothing wrong only to finally be told there was a TSB recall for the issue I was having. When I picked up the vehicle there were chips on the top of the hood, all appearing fresh and previously not there. The nature of the chips also appear to have been done my another metal objects impact, and in some instances scraping the hood down to the metal. The service manager dismissed the issue and unconvincingly said he would call me, in a few days. Regardless of how/if this is resolved the service was poor and did not meet basic expectations.

I went to this location to Lisa Carr and I would say I had a 5 star experience I came last minute with a lot of things to get done and they stayed 2 hours past closing time just to take care of me. I really do appreciate them I really did get a great deal I look up the value of my vehicle and they could have charged thousands more At the end of the day they were actually on my side trying to get me a vehicle and I did get a vehicle with a payment that I want. Poor service dept. Went in for a new battery. Service Advisor very polite and helpful. Upon picking up the car, upon inspection, I saw the battery posts were covered in corrosion. It looked as if the battery had not been replaced at all. So I discussed it with the Advisor and he called the tech up front to explain it. The tech, probably no more than 19 years of age, stated he didnt clean off the posts because that is only done with battery service. So replacement of a battery isnt battery service? Just good ole fashioned laziness.

Our car was totaled in an accident and so it was time to car shop. We knew we wanted a Nissan and had been going back and forth between the Kicks and the Rogue. Mike S. was awesome at letting us just take our time to peruse inventory on the lot and when we went to talk and start the process, he was honest, upfront and gave transparency every step of the way. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. After about and hour and a half the service advisor said I was ready to go. The dealership charged me for a full rotation, however they only rotated the driver side. They also did not adjust air pressure in my tires. I was given some lame reason why they didn’t rotate the passenger side but that was only after I returned to the dealership to question the lack of service. My wife had an appointment this afternoon for the same service on her vehicle. They pulled the same thing on her. This deceitful practice is common at this dealership. This is bad business…Beware

The store was super busy and Emil personally went and detailed my new car to make it a super quick process. Finance was not a headache like I have experience at other locations. Worst service department ever. Part of their deal of buying a vehicle from their dealership is cheap oil changes. Let me tell you I’d rather just pay for speed. If you make an appointment for service for a simple oil change expect to be there for at least 2 hours. They obviously overbook or take too many walk-ins to handle the volume. Had an appointment at 4pm and still currently waiting on the lobby at 6:10 pm. Definitely considering not ever coming back to service my vehicle.

I was informed that my filters needed to be changed, which I allowed. The price was reasonable and the time it took was as expected. Took my car in for an Oil Change and a Tire Rotation. Since then, my car starts shaking very bad when I drive over 30MPH. I called to have them take a took at it, since it happened after there service, and I was told they can’t see me till 9/15 due to it being a diagnostic issue. Now I have to drive with this shake for another 5 weeks. I’ve purchased 2 cars there and do all my service with Jenkins but this has me reconsidering where I buy and take my car. Very bad customer service.Edit: The day I did this review, 6 days ago, I went online and asked for a manager to call me. No one has reached out via phone or email as of yet. Seems like no one here tries to fix the problems they cause or care about there customers.

They have the worst service department, I purchased my car there and have done all my services there as well but the lately they have been terrible, you make an appointment and you still sit there for 3 plus hours just for an oil change, last two oil changes I have had to come back because of something they messed up, one time they forgot to place a cover back my car sounded like and airplane, next time it had an oil leak.Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

The wait times are extremely long, even with an appointment. I had an appointment for an oil change on June 24th, which I scheduled weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was told that the wait time was 2 hours. I left disappointed, and rescheduled for a day and time that was slow so the wait wouldnt be as long.I came back for an oil change on July 6th, and still had to wait an hour and a half. When my car was ready, the service rep did not review anything with me, but left my paperwork at the reception desk. I looked at the paper when I checked out and noticed that there were notes written about me needing transmission fluid, an air filer change, and other things that were illegible because of the handwriting.The desk clerk called my service rep over to speak with me, and he briefly went over the notes, but seemed like he was in a rush, so he didnt take much time with me. He basically told me that the notes on the inspection are only recommendations based on my mileage. Since I have already had these things completed at another dealership, I knew for certain that these issues were not relevant.So, my question as a customer is: whats the purpose of the 24-point inspection, if its not specially tailored to my vehicle? And why is there such a long wait, if they are not actually inspecting my vehicle?The day after the oil change, when I got in my car to drive it, I noticed that my gas pedal was vibrating each time I accelerated, which is unusual. The vibration lasted about 5 seconds, until my car had reached about 5 MPH, but occurred consistently each time I pressed the gas pedal.I called Nissan and spoke with the manager, Dave, and explained to him what the problem was. I informed him that I was JUST there for an oil change and inspection, and that the problem was not occurring beforehand. He told me that I could bring it in at my convenience, but had to arrive before 4pm on Monday through Thursday. It was already Thursday and I had to work, so I wouldn’t be able to make it that day before 4p. Friday, the next day, would have been perfect, but for whatever reason, that was not an option. I needed to travel during the weekend, so I wanted the problem resolved as quickly as possible. The soonest that they could see me, which would fit my schedule, was the following Monday (4 days later). This, in my opinion, is completely unacceptable, considering that I was just there and no one mentioned that there was anything wrong with my car.I decided not to wait until Monday, and I went ahead and took my car to my mechanic on Thursday after I got off work. He was able to see me right away. He test drove my car and instantly knew what the problem was…my catalytic converter needed to be cleaned. I went back to him the next day and he worked on my car for 3 hours, until everything was done. He told me that my catalytic converter was extremely dirty and that it was also red, which indicated that it was overheating and it could have set my car on fire!Why was this not seen when Nissan did my oil change and inspection 2 days prior? I have been a loyal customer of this dealership since 2008. I have seen so many service reps come and go. The quality of customer service is not the same anymore. I even reached out to Kendall Miller to express my concerns and disappointment, and he has yet to respond. I will no longer be returning to this dealership and I do not recommend them to anyone else.This is not the first time that something drastic has gone wrong with my car after an inspection. Last year my motor fell off! The motor mount and CV joint broke, causing my motor to fall off and hit my transmission, which I had to get rebuilt. This could have been prevented if they were actually inspecting my car. I got the repairs done at my mechanic in Tampa. I only go to Nissan because of the $5 oil change. Their prices for repairs are ridiculously high. From now on, I will pay full price for an oil change elsewhere.

Im writing this review to warn any potential buyer of the poor service I received with regard to my used car purchase. I purchased a 2020 Certified Murano SL which I was not made aware it was missing a spare tire. I drove from Tampa to Lakeland on a referral from family member. Never did they knowingly mention that the spare was missing. I noticed it the next morning when I looked under the cover. I immediately called and was told to leave a message and I never got a call back. I called back and asked for a manager and was told the vehicle was turned in without a spare therefore they would not replace it. I was shocked so I asked to speak to higher up and was told the same. I could understand if it was an As Is but this vehicle was certified. So I called Nissan Consumer Affairs and spoke to Chris who was appalled and issued me a case number. The next day we get a call back and was told that the dealership told them that was their policy. No joke . I had already gone that route. I have always driven Cadillac and this last one was a Jaguar which I only turned in because it was hard to get in and out of. I will never buy another Nissan. I can see why I have always driven luxury cars because their Customer Service are impeccable. Just a warning on our bad experience on first time Nissan Purchase

He was very clear and professional in his presentation of the leasing options available. Once we made a decision on the vehicle, Mike went over in detail all the various features of the vehicle. Terrible prices on new car. Salesperson was defensive. Did not have good knowledge of competition and even when I showed competitive pricing was not knowledgeable on incentives, etc. waited 6 hours for service which I believe was tactic to try to get me to buy a new car. Went to Brandon Nissan the next day and had a terrific experience and got a great deal on a new 2021 Nissan Rogue!

If it were possible to leave less than one star I would. I had an appt. for a CVT flush and refill, an action which takes at most thirty minutes. The appt. was scheduled for two p.m. At five p.m. my car hadnt been looked at. At around six p.m. it was moved to the rack. At seven I finally paid and left. I sat and waited for five hours. Had I been told upfront the wait for a thirty minute service would be four and a half hours I would have made arrangements to have someone pick me up or made an appt. elsewhere. If you have no life and enjoy waiting for hours for a simple auto service Jenkins Nissan is a top pick. If you value your time look elsewhere.

I had an appointment to get my car serviced at 2:30pm. Arrived a little early but they took me in immediately. The service rep that helped me was very friendly and helpful. Explained any questions I had to my satisfaction. The wait was around an hour, which was definitely a relief considering how many other people were there getting their vehicle serviced. All in all it was a very good experience.

I had to go to the Service Dept. Ms. Bailey was great on the phone before I got there and when I got there. Everyone was friendly. The only issue I had & still do is that the diagnostic is taking sooo long. It will be a few more days though.

I came in two weeks ago for my 15000 mile service, showed them the passenger taillight had water in it. They ordered a replacement light. They called me to say it came in and to schedule service for it. I made the appointment for 9:00 am. I’m waiting for two hours and I see my car outside. I go to the advisor and he tells me they didn’t replace it because there wasn’t t enough water in it, it was drying out. I did take pictures of it when I first noticed the issue just in case. They did replace it after that but made me wait more even though they got on it right away. . Why after 2 hours didn’t they just replace it to begin with. I’m a loyal customer, bought three cars from them and getting ready to get a fourth one. Don’t treat your customers like that. Brand loyalty is important.

Worst Customer service ever -for the 2nd time. First time They gave me a rental car full of dog hair and I had to clean it myself as I am allergic.. Service took more days to finish than it was supposed. Only Naka is the best one there. All the Ladies don’t seem to like their jobs and treat us very disrespectful. 2nd time I had an appt for a Saturday to do a Recall and when I drove there the Lady (Angela I believe) was mad at me cause they don’t do recalls on weekends! Like I know that!! And after yelling at me I had to stop her and ask for a manager. Of coarse no one came So the young girl inside at the office only said Im sorry and just moved my appt for another date. I decided not to go to Jenkins Nissan ever again!Thank God I found One Nissan Dealership at Winter Haven that treat customers the way they should and even better.! No appts necessary and they do recalls on weekends! Great Customer service at WH! So all of you who have had bad experiences at the Lakeland I encourage you to go to Winter Haven! We deserve better! And BTW when you call Corporate they just open a ticket and apologize, thats it!! No resolutions as of today and no calles from Managers at Jenkins to apologize either! I always say; bad employees, bad managers.. 😡

We experienced untrained and apparently deceitful sales man, insincere managers and inability to find any way to contact the owner. I strongly suggest shopping elsewhere. Once you sign the paperwork, its your problem. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Jenkins!Upper management should reach out to me. You have contact information. Sincerely wish I had bought from another dealership.Update: Still no response from dealership. Does their corporate office condone this behavior at all the Jenkins dealerships?Still recommend that you shop elsewhere for a vehicle whether a Nissan or other brand.
