A year ago after receiving no response when asking if I could increase my other structures coverage, I began shopping for new homeowners insurance. I found out that a $0 payout claim was reflected on my homeowners history (2018)- a call I placed for information/advice, not to place a claim. I could not switch coverage due to a claim within 3 years history.Several weeks ago I applied for a loan for home renovations. The bank sent Lock a request for proof of Hazard Insurance that was not responded to for several weeks.Last week (Thursday) I emailed my agent to cancel the policy- no response. I called on Friday and spoke to a service rep who was supposed to relay the message to my agent- still no response.I had to go there in person today (Monday) to get the policy cancelled.Also, they do not educate their clients on homeowners coverage. I was ignorant to how low my coverage was until I met with various other agencies to discuss a new policy. The extra $300/year for MUCH higher and comprehensive coverage is worth it for the peace of mind, and not dealing with poor service is a bonus.

I called to make changes to our auto insurance, asking to speak with our agent Tonna. The lady answering the phone kept me on the phone nearly 5 minutes trying to find me on their system before telling me Tonna had retired the previous week. Wed heard from Tonna maybe two weeks prior about renewing the policies and she didnt mention anything about retiring then. At that point I felt like I was talking with a call center instead of a local office and told her to nevermind, that Id take care of it myself online with Progressive directly. Maybe she was local and new but if it took that long to find me in the system I cant guess how long it would have taken to actually make the complicated changes I needed for our two policies. It only took a couple of minutes online with Progressive and in the end I switched to Geico for much better pricing on 4 cars with higher policy coverage than Progressive via Lock Insurance could offer on 3 cars.

Amanda was amazing to deal with and was able to get a fraudulent sink hole claim taken care of. She was then able to place me with a regular carrier. My insurance went down $ 1,500.00 a year. I have recommended several people to her and they have all been very happy and saved money.

Sent me a quote on adding to my policy, which I agreed to but didnt send any bill, this was in JUNE - until I answered a survey about my dissatisfaction ...elvira sends me an email w a bill showing its 3 days late... but NEVER sent me an email or Bill in the mail.i responded asking with a thread of EVERY email she sent....no bill...I asked why? Im still waiting for that response. Absolutely NO professionalism, responsibility or response. Did she send it to my mortgage company who pays my homeowners insurance? I wouldnt know bc she hasnt responded!! BUT I finally received a bill on July 25th in the mail but no response to my email or July 21st. Retraining on how to communicate effectively to customers would be a great start!

Horrible company they don’t care about the customer. After the first year they added on charges without sending a policy in the mail. Then the third year they upped the price every single time. Trying to get people to pay who don’t watch with their payment should be. Do not do business with.

With many hurricanes in florida, it is a good idea to get an electronic copy of your home owners insurance before a new storm rolls in. I happen to be one of those customers to do that. I simply call them, and get to their customer service very quickly and request it. Presto, I now have my full home insurance incase there is a claim. The employees here are very helpful.

I like that you always review my policy each year and verify that I am still getting the right level of insurance, at the right price, with the right company, rather than just letting me stay with the same policy and coverage. That tells me you care about your clients more than others I have experienced. Once you get past their defective phone system...nonworking auto attendant, non delivery of voice mail, dropped calls 3 times in my last coversation the service Deandra provided was super excellent. If we ever have any questions, need a copy of dec pages, goof ups where the lien holder didnt pay the insurance, no matter what, Kim does whatever she can to help! A few years ago, the company holding our home owners policy pulled out of the Florida market. I immediately freaked out, worried we wouldnt find coverage or it would be a lot more expensive. With Kims help, we found a plan that worked for our needs AND our budget. Since then, shes the first person I call if we need new insurance.

Got a policy with Monica for home insurance being my first time since I was a new homebuyer had no idea what I was doing needed insurance for hurricane Monica wasn’t very informative felt rushed on phone then later when called office left voicemails etc hard to get a hold of finally did tried to get answers about policy etc all she kept saying was she don’t know anything about claims and my insurance except the status to call them she transferred me and listened in on call. Just felt she could of been more helpful. She’s loud on the phone and comes off rude. Not happy at all.
