My son started Sylvan earlier this summer after kindergarten. He wasn’t reading at kindergarten level at all. He had a hard time sounding out his letters and he couldn’t put any words together at all. He just finished the program last week and we started a homeschool core curriculum with Lang arts, social studies, math and science. I was SHOCKED when he started reading his lessons on his own. I knew Sylvan was helping him along but I didn’t realize just how much they had helped. He is reading on his own! He is sounding out his letters, putting words together on his own and reading sentences! Sylvan has changed our lives. I am SO grateful to Steve, Amanda and the two amazing tutor’s my son had that helped him grow in such a short amount of time. I would highly recommend the Sylvan center for any tutoring needs. They are simply amazing in every aspect. Thank you all so much for helping my son achieve his goals!

As a parent of three children spanning elementary, middle, and high school, I naturally was concerned about the quality of the education my children received at the end of last school year and the start of this year with distance learning. After just a couple of days, it was clear that my elementary schooler was not able to sit in front of his computer from 8 am-2 pm and stay focused and on task. Later that day, I received an email from my employer that Sylvan had partnered with the Bright Horizons School-Age Learning Program. I quickly applied and received a call from Steve at the Lake Worth & Wellington location. My son started the following week, and the second I picked him up, it was clear our family had made the right choice. He was smiling from ear to ear and couldnt wait to tell me all about what he learned at school AND the fun activities Steve and Amanda did with him during his downtime. Sylvan Learning has exceeded my familys expectations, and we are relieved he is getting the best possible education available.

Having to do distance learning due to COIVID-19 with my 7th grader made me realize how much he was struggling with reading and writing. I decided to try Sylvan. It was the BEST decision. In only two months my son improved 3 grade levels. He is now one grade level over his current grade. The staff and manager at the Sylvan Learning Center of Lake Worth is personable, kind and caring. Thank you, Steve, Amanda and all the teachers for helping boost my sons confidence and reading skills!

My son has been going to Sylvan in Lake Worth for a little over a month and hes already gone up almost a whole grade level!! He loves going there and he has fun there!! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Both my kids started Sylvan at grade level to get prepped for their upcoming FSA and they both finished about 7 months later, 2 grade levels avove. The tutors were very friendly & my kids liked going to their classes.

Convenient scheduling and a simple process to evaluate and design a learning agenda for our daughter. Our daughter does well in school but she needed guidance on a few areas to alleviate her stress and keep her organized when studying for tests. Sylvan designed an advanced study skills agenda for her that allowed her better time management and better focus on the top priorities so she could be efficient but comprehensive in her studying. It’s been one week since my daughter started here at Sylvan Learning LW. What a difference 4 days has made. Every time I pick her up, she’s so happy. Her confidence in such a short time has improved . Not to mention I can’t remember the last time homework was finished in ONE HOUR . We have the rest of the evening for family time .😀 Best of all, this afternoon her teacher sent a note in her agenda.“(Daughter) math is showing improvement !” Smileys everyday this week. Since my son has been coming to Sylvan he has more self confidence and he has learned so much. He seems to enjoy coming there. You have made learning fun for him and thats great. He is doing much better in school. His reading and math skills have greatly improved. We will continue to move forward with this program as long as possible.

My son had been going here for a month now and wow!! what an improvement, he is little but was not ready for kindergarten, but what a difference a one on one tuterting does. I recommend this place for any parent that needs help with their childs learning at any age or any subject.
