Friendly staff. Helped me locate product since app wasnt working d/t bad cell coverage. Clean, well stocked store. Found a great condition clearance ceiling lamp that was such a bargain, must have been a display. Caution some dcd items in clearance start with no $ savings.

Went to lake Wales location, during my shopping everyone was super nice and helpful. During checkout an employee accused us of trying to cheat the store because an item was ringing up different from the price listed on the rack. We requested a price check, she would not, we requested a manager, she wouldnt get one. So we asked her to cancel out our order and wed go to customer service. While we were headed up there she ran up to talk to them first. My husband was very upset. A manager arrived and was working on fixing, and calming my husband down. We were about finished a front end manager named Rick came up and yelled at us accusing us of saying things to her that my husband was saying to me with his frustration and anger. He was super rude, and extremely unprofessional. I felt attacked and it will be a while before I darken that store again. I do want to give a shout out to Darryl and Charley as they were super professional and super helpful. My rating would have been five stars (I really wanted to give less but everyone else was great) Rick needs a class in being a manager and in customer service.

This loans used to be nice but I went in for Halloween decorations and they had none very disappointed

Was not impressed at all. I went to Lowes this morning for a scrub brush and some other items. The items were not in the aisle where they were supposed to be per the app and website. The aisles were still labeled correctly, but the items had been moved and no one seemed to know where they were moved to. I asked an employee, who was ignoring store policy by not wearing a mask, and she wasnt sure, but could confirmed that they had been moved. She didnt bother to ask another employee or the manager, so I looked myself and finally found them 8 aisles over.Was I was walking through the aisles looking for my items I noticed hardly anyone was wearing a mask, despite the sign at the front door instructing people to wear a mask per store policy. Its kind of hard to enforce the rules for customers when the employees dont bother to wear masks or even confront customers when theyre standing right in front of them.I tried to ask a couple of other employees where items were and they would just point in general direction and say stuff like, I think its over there in the lawn and garden area. I got frustrated, checked out with the items I could find, and left the store.Employees are not knowledgeable, dont know where product is our how to assist a customer, and could care less about health mandates. Needless to say, Ill be taking my business to the other big chain store in orange, which happens to be just a few blocks away.

It’s only September 15. Please take the Christmas decorations away from the store, it’s totally ridiculous that you have all Xmas stuff out at the Lowe’s at Lake Wales. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

I have always had a good shopping experience at Lowes. I believe they sell a higher quality product than the competition. And I have always had good customer service. The 10% military / veteran discount is a huge help for people on a fixed income. Thank you Lowes

Great store in Lake Wales. Nice helpful staff. Can easily return defective items.Really nice selection of about everything you can think of for the house and yard.Always kept well stocked unlike the Scottys store chain of the 1970s and 1980s. And that why Scottys is no longer in business.

Went to the other first HD. Did not have everything I needed, and no customer service to help so I left empty handed. Went to Lowes I immediately had customer service and they had everything I needed, I was a loyal customer for a lot of years with them ..,.no more after my last experience will be going to Lowes from now on.....

Never can find staff assistant in Lowes. Tonight was different. Had the one guy come to rescue me three times. Only one man working the entire store.

Went in to purchase a generator. The store is very nice and clean. The generator selection was pretty poor. 2 different Colemans and a $800 generac. Went to check out and there were absolutely no checkouts open except for 2 self check out stations. Everyone in an entire store having to use 2 self checkout stations. Other than that it was a good painless visit. I would suggest having a couple of regular checkouts open though.

I found the two gentlemen that I worked with very helpful. Tom, electrical & lighting, was very helpful with everything I asked even if it wasnt his department. He made sure I found everything. Jack, answered all questions about a new storm door. He sent me home with paperwork and estimates of cost for a new door. Left the store with my questions answered.

Looks like everything you need for DIY projects you can get here. Clean organized well lighted. Spent about 30mins walking to check specific items, theyre well stocked for what I needed. Asked 2x if I needed help so you can be taken care of get your job done.

It was so bad! I went in today.and the items i wanted were at the store but no help. So i had to leave the store and go back later on in the day and cross my fingers that i could get some help. 0 stars for you today. I bought what i needed with a frown on the face from the employee helping and because i brought my own measuring tape and i was ready to cut my own items. Thank God i have a lot if patience.

I have had the worst experience with this Lowe’s’ blinds department. First, I had measured for blinds two months prior and was told it would be kept in the database. I went in to pick blinds and they didn’t have any information for me. However, they measured again at no cost to me. I went back to pick blinds and no one knew how to work the system. Had to wait on someone from a different department to help. It took about half hour to get situated with someone that could help. Then I was told by the company that they would install on March 17 between 2-4 pm. They showed up at 11:30. Thank goodness I was already on my way home from work. The installer asked if I had the blinds. Well of course not because no one from Lowe’s called to let me know. Lowe’s gave the installer an incorrect number. I made the installer wait and took off to pick up my blinds. Thank you Lowe’s for a stressful day! Wish it was a better experience. Word of mouth is great!!

I like Lowe’s. And I get all the Covid-19 stuff... but if you’re going to have a big, fancy Christmas Tree tent, with 5 employees standing at the entrance... maybe some of them can assist in unwrapping some of the trees to make it easier to ship them? Won’t get into the impression that the African American folks were getting helped but didn’t see any of the White Americans that were there getting much assistance at all. I don’t think it was intentional, just poor customer service. It’s a bad visual in today’s society and sad it even gets noticed.The setup itself is nice and inviting. The trees were all nice and the prices were fair. I recommend them for a nice Christmas Tree, just don’t expect a lot of help. If I wasn’t handicapped, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal really. Solid 3 Stars

Never a hassle getting my veteran discount

I would like to personally thank John P in OPE department of Lowes in lake wales he helped me as soon as i stepped foot in the door. I knew what i was looking for and he helped me pick the perfect brand grill for me...he knows his stuff he also helped me put it on the back of my truck! I appreciated the amazing customer service he gave me that day! Even though i dont in lake wales i am willing to drive all the way there just for that Lowes. Thanks again john

I called this location for a new Range. Not only were they able to give me next day delivery unlike a few competitors where they were a minimum of 3-8 weeks out on delivery, but they matched a competitors price. I didnt stay below my budget, but thats because I opted for the 5 year warranty. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because my parents went to this location on my suggestion and they waited 20 minutes while the person that was in the appliance section was talking on the phone. Based on my experience alone I would give 5/5. But people in store should take priority over people that might not even come into store.

The plant department is the highlight of this store. Well stocked and diverse. Now the downside, if you have to return anything youll wish you had made your purchase elsewhere and the service throughout the store is lackluster at best. Maybe they should have just put a plant nursery in this location.

Not a great return policy. Which i can understand when you sell items that only last 50 days cost hundreds of dollars lowes corporate why is every your doing a wounderfull job protecting your bottom line and selling items with zero quality.

Super amazing staff, they are always willing to help you to find anything you need. And they will even provide help if your unsure on how to handle your Home Project.

I went to the garden section. Looking for a few specific plant and pet moss. I could bot find anyone to help me. I look for about an hour and saw a vender servicing her section and she pointed out milkweed to me. I finally went to the register and asked someone there for peet moss and they looked confused. They didnt know what I was talking about. Saw another employee and asked for peet moss and they said they didnt know if they had them and told me to go look. That person obviously was not gonna help me. I paid for my milkweed and basil and left. I was not very happy with my visit.

Lowes consistently has the quality and attractive pricing we look for. In addition, their helpful and knowledgeable staff are willing to assist in every way.

Great service throughout the store with associates helping us to find everything we needed every step of the way. A special shoutout to the Hardware Department Manager who was especially helpful. The checkout was not the best as the exit from the cashier checkout was blocked and we had to go out a different way than straight out. Also, the cashier was too busy chatting with her co-worker to notice or to say “Thanks for shopping at Lowe’s”. After I said it aloud, the cashier stopped her conversation and said “Have a nice day”, but still didn’t attempt to clear the exit from her checkout lane. Overall the service was good, but could have been better. Lowe’s is always our first choice due to Military discount and availability of products.

Called and asked if they had tarps 12x20 girl tells me yes, so we go all the out there and they have none !! Learn your merchandise, and dont hang up on a customer because you have people at the service desk very unprofessional!!!!

Very rude staff. First time this has happened. Hubby was looking for solar christmas lights. Their site said they had lots in their store. When he asked the staff she just pointed to a box and said idk probably somewhere in there.I get it. It was busy. However if you cant be of service to those that pay your paycheck, work somewhere else.

11/4/20 1:30 pmLake Wales Lowe’s customer service needs to be addressed. I ran in just to grab a few items on my lunch break and then the drama. As I stood in the customer service line, I was advised by the cashier that this line is for returns only and to go elsewhere. I responded, I could not check out through the self-checkout. She then told me to go to register 13. I did and the cashier in that area saw me and ignored me completely. She played with the door for a minute and then continued to ignore me. I went back to the customer service desk leaving my cart there only to be told again they could not check me out (which I know is a lie). I advised I have not been assisted at register 13. The cashier that ignored me came in the customer service area to help someone in that line still ignoring me. I got my cart and stood in the self-checkout line where she eventually made her way to assist the customers there. I attempted to check out with her at the register next to me and became so aggravated that I left cart and all. I recently got approved for a Lowe’s card and only had the paper approval to check out. I will travel to Bartow or Lakeland from now on. eccox

For years I was a dyed-in-the-wool Home Depot fan until their lumber selections were found wanting. Too much useless lumber that you had to pick through to find some good stock. Then I went to the local Lowes and have not looked back. Their lumber is light years beyond the HD stock plus I find the staff to be knowledgeable and excellent.

The lady who helped me was knowledgeable about what I wanted.
