I took a trip planned by Jessica a long time ago and was recently reminiscing about it and realized I should’ve written a review. She was great from start to finish, listened to our input and helped us plan the perfect trip to Peru. We actually got food poisoning while we were there and realized she had had us purchase traveler’s insurance unbeknownst to us and our visits to the doctor were covered. Nathan was so lovely to work with. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and I could tell he was invested into finding my fiance and I the best deal possible. It was like having a friend working for us! When the dates of our trip had to change, Nathan was so empathetic and worked hard (and quickly) to book us a new trip. He also shared his opinion with us the entire time (ie: how short is too short of a layover; when to buy car insurance and when to see if your credit card company possibly has it built in; etc), which was a pleasant and appreciated perk! I cannot say enough. My family *needed* a vacation- badly. We needed to see family, we needed to celebrate that we had pulled through some hard times and we recovered. We needed to meet newborns and young kiddos for the first time. We needed to give our 5 year old a really great experience. It was... just mandatory.Oh, and we had all kinds of special circumstances, including a vacationer with disabilities. The itinerary that I wanted was complicated, and I had to get help. I didnt want to miss little details that would cause problems. I didnt want to spend hours on the phone or online sorting out every option or all the different choices.I wanted to go to two major parks. I wanted to stay in three different cities for several nights each. I wanted to rent a car and organize a flight. I wanted to spend big in some areas, and save serious bucks in other areas. Packing, organizing professional photos out of state, making reservations for restaurants I havent seen in a dozen years, and getting someone to tend to the pets would be be overwhelming enough.Jessica was my savior! Our kiddo had the experience of a lifetime. The hotels, car rental, flight, parks, and special events were all well organized. So I was able to organize professional family photos with loved ones that we dont get to see enough. We were greeted warmly by all the various travel staff. No unexpected issues or surprises. Our kiddo was treated like a princess, and all of the expenses that we encountered were expected and planned for.We have made memories in just a matter of days that we will talk about for decades. I cannot say enough. Ive climbed pyramids in the past, and Ive been to places that were much more exotic, but this was the first time that I ever played tourist in an area that was a very familiar former home of mine. As it turned out, this was still a considerable adventure, and one of the best vacations of my life.

Jessica has literally been my life saver for the past few months. I began planning a honeymoon in February with her. In the beginning she was quick to respond, friendly, and very obviously cared for all of my needs (which were many as I have never been out of the country). She got everything I asked for and then some, gave me tons of options on resorts and dates and flights, and was TOTALLY accommodating.Fast forward a few months and Im no longer getting married. This absolute ANGEL gets my reservations moved around so I can still go and bring my best friend along so I dont lose any of my deposits!And again this past month my friend and I have had major car issues, so we are no longer able to go on our trip. I dont know how she does it, I was sure I would lose all my money but she got me a full refund for everything I had booked through her. I can say, without a doubt, that I will never book a trip through anyone other than Jessica. Im telling all my friends, my coworkers, my family. She has saved me so much grief, time, money, and energy through this complicated and stressful process. I cant wait to work with her again!

I worked with Hollis to check prices on my travel plans. She was super friendly, thorough, made sure she understood what I was after, and then did some good work to get me great information.I didnt end up using the service this time, but Hollis was no less friendly or helpful after I shared my decision with her.I believe in Shop Local whenever possible, so will be calling Julies first for future travel needs. Obviously a good crew there.

We have worked with Wence in Corvallis for many years and she has done a 5 star job for us. Especially working with the cruise lines.

We had a destination in mind (Scotland) for our honeymoon and a couple of sites we wanted to see, and they took care of the rest. Our agent happened to be Scottish, and he had several great suggestions. They booked our hotel, flights, and tours. All it took was a couple emails and quick phone calls, and they took care of everything. I only wish that we had more time and money to have them book more vacations for us.

Many months ago I contacted Julies Travel Desk with a list of activities to accomplish while visiting Thailand for two weeks. My travel consultant was able to come up with a fully guided itinerary of sights and excursions (ziplining, canoeing, rafting, elephant riding, cultural experiences, and much, much more). The trip took place recently during the second half of January.Many people go on vacation to relax. I go on vacation for exploration, adventure, and of course learning about the culture whos country I visit. Im someone who quickly becomes bored, so I need to have different activities taking place every day throughout my trip. The itinerary was full just like I prefer!The trip went phenominally well and quickly became everything I hoped! The guides were always very imformative, and they taught us so much about their culture. The airport to hotel transfers and hotel to excursion transfers also went very well. I chose to stay at 4 and 5-star hotels and those were nice too. Everything was very organized, so I can honestly say that absolutely nothing went wrong, and most importantly, I always felt safe. I saw and learned so much in so little time! I thank Julies Travel for this AMAZING experience! Theres really nothing Id do different, and I will definately continue seeking this travel agency for future foreign adventures. Thank you JTD!!!
