Excellent experiences at Massage Envy. All therapists were polite are respectful. They are all also extremely good at massages. The front desk associates are also vecry professional and kind. The clinic is always very clean and comfortable and the relaxation room is superb. Overall superior massage envy location.

I have called multiple times, trying to get ahold of someone to pause my membership while the business is closed. tell me how it makes any sense to keep charging us while you arent seeing any customers? I understand this is an unprecedented situation - but its due time for you to respond to your customers.

The front desk staff here range from totally aloof and unfriendly to super sweet and helpful. Having a membership has worked out well for me, and so far I havent encountered any issues with it. I see the same massage therapist each month, Kim N, and she is fantastic! Personable, strong, and very skilled. Shes especially good at neck/head/shoulders which is were I have most of my problems. Go see Kim!

Do not sign up for a membership! They will not let you out of a contract if you cannot prove you have moved 25 miles outside the nearest massage envy location. I have moved into an RV and will be traveling for the next two years. They require a drivers license or mail at your new address to prove you have moved. I am using a family members address and that is reflected on my ID so I cannot prove by their standards that I have moved. Sure you could say he should have read the contract, but I am according to their contract moving 25 miles outside the nearest massage envy. The manager of the Lake Oswego location said there is nothing she could do and referred me to corporate. I reached out to corporate and they referred me back to the Lake Oswego location. Even on the corporate website it encouraged me to work with the location directly.I canceled my credit card they were charging on a monthly basis. They used their banking contacts and were able to get my new credit card number and started billing it. That may be perfectly legal but talk about shady business practices.

The two massage therapists from whom I receive massages are 5 Star. The desk help and the facility are both 5 Star. The reason I gave 3 Stars is because the telephone service is zero stars. Either they never answer in the first place and the call goes straight to the message Ive heard around 300 times now, or they answer and Im put on hold for way longer than is acceptable to me. The reason I am writing this in a review is because I just called them and when I finally got through I explained to the person who answered that I was having more and more trouble getting through. Her response- silence.

I love this location! Not sure why the ratings aren’t better on here. The staff is always super friendly and detailed. I’ve had Dennis as my massage therapist twice now and hands down he gives the best massages I’ve ever had at massage envy and I’ve used 4 different locations and couldn’t find someone who gave a REAL Massage and leveled out the pressure points and a MASSAGE evenly but Dennis definnalty does that! Perfect massage. I’ve been to ones in California and this ones deffinately the best with staff. The location is clean and quite and friendly. It’s awesome. I’m not gonna use any other place!

I love Massage Envy, Lake Oswego. Great experience every time. Ive found my perfect massage therapist and I hope she stays forever. Also one of the best facials Ive had in a long time.

I scheduled a one hour massage appointment from 2-3 earlier this week. I arrived and checked in at 1:45 and didnt get called back for my massage until 2:05. The masseuse didnt arrive until 2:10 and she stopped at 2:50. They cut my one hour massage down to 40 minutes. Thats a 30% margin cut that they are directly profiting off of. The masseuse who massaged me was vocal about how new she was and the massage was noticeably subpar. This is a terrible company and I DO NOT recommend getting a massage from them.

My massage was fine. My husband said his was just meh. Not terrible just that the therapist seemed new and less experienced. Thats not the issue tho. The issue was what happened when he told the lady at the counter about it. The one he spoke with seemed surpirsed and was pleasent enough but the girl that was sitting at the other computer just kept rolling her eyes and shaking her head, as if we were out of line with our feedback. (Which wasnt given in any rude or disrespectful way mind you, just saying it seemed like he was maybe new, as he was not whispering and seemed to be just repeating the same motions over and over again) I just couldnt beleive that this girl was blatantly rolling her eyes at us.

Great place, with mostly great staff, unfortunatelly after my last bad experience, I have to give a low rating. I use to get massages to relax, never knew I need to spend 10 minutes on my medical history, 10 paid minutes out of my session, which is not fair mostly because the chain already keeps a file on such. Also, didnt know that I have to respond to more personal question as seems I am being diagnosed, not there for to relax. Some therapists seem more stressed out than the customer and that is extremly non beneficial to the client, maybe overworked or overbooked? They can be the most asked for, if they are overworked, at some point it will show. There is a risk that comes with any job, people can be honest or not but for sure, next time, I will ask the therapist same questions in return, after all, we as customers need to be protected also and able to ask same questions in return. Horrible experience, therapist not listening but talking nonstop in a very agressive tone. I wanted a relaxation massage and I was continuously told by the therapist that she needs to figure out a plan of treatment even when I wasnt there for more than a simple relaxation massage, not a medical diagnostic or a treatment plan but the therapist refused to listen as she was set to give me a proper treatment plan which I didnt ask for as I didnt need one and if I did, I think my own MD would have been more qualified to recomend one if needed. Well, at least the front person apologized while the therapist keept yelling she will call the manager right now in an intimidation attempt to show how no matter what I say as a client, her relationship with the manager will cancell any of my complaint of her talking to me the way she was.Never such a terrible experience with such an unprofessional staff in my almost 10 years or so of getting massages at this chain, which includes this location.If I wouldnt call back again to talk to a manager, I am sure, three days later I would be still waiting for a call back and even when I did, was told it might be a miscommunication which is not what it was, seems as the therapist was right to show me that she owns the place and can talk in anyway with a customer, which she did. No regards towards the customer, the owner trying to convince me that what I witnessed and the way I was treated is just a miscommunication from my side or didnt happen, which was even more offensive . As a customer, I think I deserve at least to be heard by the therapist I pay for services I ask for, not the ones she chooses after she makes the treatment plan. It is my very first time being told that when I ask for a relaxation massage I also need a treatment plan, even if I havent requested such. It was supposed to be just an hour and a half of relaxation that didnt required a treatment plan, a diagnostic or harsh words by the therapist. Seems as a client, you cant just choose what you want, it is the therapist that will dictate it, right after diagnosing you. Or maybe I am just not qualified enough to be able to make a choice on my own dime but have a thetapist telling me what treatment plan I need for a simple relaxation massage.
