The mark up some of these items are crazy. Like a pet fountain you can find online for $12-20 is $40-60 here. Ive come here multiple times and its always clean. Convenient Banfield located inside.

We were disappointed that the dog food we needed was sold out. Our dog needs grain free soft food without chicken, turkey or beef. We look for canned with fish. Fortunately, we found a substitute for our usual brand but its a constant struggle. The chicken version is offered online but not the salmon. Why? Its obviously popular as half the time its sold out. Seems those of us who need this brand know to buy it when its in stock. My question why isnt it in stock? When I ask, I am often given the run around. Too often I hear, We dont know if its on the truck or not? Why, why dont you know? If I could get it any other way, I would, believe me. My dogs gotta eat so I must do what I must. Jeez!
I accidentally left my cats prescription food card at the cash register. Thankfully, they found it and Store Leader Linda Hughes mailed it to me before I even realized it was gone. Now thats what I call excellent customer service! Thank you Linda and the entire PetSmart Team in Lake Mary, FL.

Ive never been to a petsmart that had such a bad smell of pet urine before. Im not even sure how it smells so bad because the store is so large. Its possible it doesnt always smell like this but I didnt even want to stay and shop
I was so impressed with the salon Myshel and David were able to grind my JRT Samis nails, with kindness, patience, love. I will definitely return to have them help me in the future.

I remember when there used to be employees at stores. Today I came in for a few things. There was only one cashier working (it was Saturday afternoon). I couldnt find help in aquatics and had to go back to the cashier (who was already busy with a line with 4 people waiting) to ask for help. She directed me to go find a button to press for help. I was a little annoyed by the quick response, but went on my journey to aquatics to find the mystery button. It took around 90 seconds of looking before I honestly just gave up and got the 2 other things. After I made it into the long line of people waiting for the 1 cashier to get to us, I saw 1 employee walk up and asked me if I needed help. I just said no (by now I have spent twice the time I expected and I had dinner ingredients in the car). Im very frustrated by the lack of help and frankly, knowledge. Tighten up Corporate America
I did not hate this place. I feel that the two associates we saw were very busy stocking and trying to handle customers needs at the same time. They need more help on the floor. I feel sorry for them.

The amount of food that is thrown away, is unbelievable. There are so many dogs that need food, care, and wonder the street to find something. There should be a way, something needs to be done, create a program, get together with other pet stores and fine a way to solve and stop wasting food. Other countries in the world, people, will be great full .
Easily one of the best Petsmart stores Ive been to. Slightly older, but the staff definitely makes it worthwhile and the Banfield attached is the first in its class

I normally go to this place to get my supplies. If youre going for fish be careful be sure Waters right and your tank because other fish get sick
For such a large store they don’t carry all the brands my critters like. They do have a nice selection of toys and miscellaneous things (but I still prefer Petco). And if you need assistance or have a question, good luck finding someone who works there. Customer service is lacking. I do like the Banfield that is attached to the store, so that is convenient when my pets go to the vet to shop around while I wait. Also, their grooming section does say they will groom and bath cats, which many groomers don’t offer, so that is a plus.

I have taken each of my dogs to Petsmart at least twice because I was having trouble finding a groomer. (Thank goodness I have one now). All 3 of my dogs, done at different times, came back to me with their eyes full of goop, some of it left on that was already there. Nothing at all was done to remove it, and it wasn’t shaved off with clippers as there was too much gunk. Don’t they usually address the rear stains and gunk while in the tub? That’s been my experience for the last 30 years. The cuts are kinda okay, but things are never really done how I ask them to be. One of my dogs had diarrhea (in the tub) and they called me to pick her up immediately. The job was half done, and they still charged me full price and did not offer to finish her in a day or two. I did take her back to at least have her face shaved, which was a shoddy job. Unless I have no other options, I will no longer take a dog to them. Consistent, not well done jobs.

Ive been to a couple different Pet Smarts, this pet smart, along with the groomers is the very best!! My dog loved it and also the workers helped me find items for my dog even when they werent stocked in the store.

We finally found the Winter Park/Altamonte Springs Pet Smart that is very aware of the stocking needs to keep up with customers’ requests. Our vet has stopped carrying the special prescription food for our senior fur babies.

Great selection. Decent prices on sale items. However, the checkout lines are ridiculous. One person working a register on a Saturday afternoon. Not the first time Ive run into this. Took me longer to get to the register than it did to shop in 4 different sections.
I went there to adopt a dog. They advertised in FB. Showed all dogs for adoption. Said come early as usually has a croud.no mention of ehat time they start showing dogs. I got there early. 8: as it opens at 9am. Found out. They done show dogs until 1pm. They said we could form a line to wait 4 hours. I was pretty mad. I had to leave to eat. Went home
I like PetSmart because of the great selection dog foods cat foods and all the equipment that a dog might need to go for a walk and to play with.

Great selection in the store... but this store was SUPER dirty and disorganized. We went to an adoption event that was chaotic and no one knew what they were doing. Everyone was skipping the line and no one said anything, we finally got to the front and passed on a dog we didnt think was a good fit and they made us go back to the end of the line 😑 the bathroom was filthy
Their grooming gets the basic job done, but theyll still give my dog back wet and unbrushed..

Ive avoided Petsmart in general since they are anti-pitbull. However, they were the closest pet store to me at the time so I decided to give them a shot. The associates were so busy talking and blocking the aisle I needed to get down, one looked straight at me as I said excuse me not once or twice but three times. They still didnt move so I practically had to push past them. They continued to block the section I was needing to look at, once again they barely paid mind to me. Instead of moving a reasonable distance away to continue their inappropriate (fowl) conversation they continued to be right up against me. Once I finally needed help there was no one to be found. After about five minutes of looking and waiting someone showed up. As someone else mentioned in the reviews, they basically told me to not get any fish. It seemed more like they didnt want to do their job and get any out. Even at check out, the cashier seemed checked out. Once again, Ill continue to boycott Petsmart, especially this one.
Only problem I have is how my dogs ears and chest and stomach and the whole bottom of her was still dirty and she was just not washed throughly at all. And her nailed got cut but they were sharper and sticking to everything after PetSmart cut them. Now the toys, food and snacks were great my dogs love them but very dissatisfied with the grooming services. If it wasnt for the lousy grooming I got I would of probably given the PetSmart a 5🌟s

We’ve always loved this Petsmart. Very clean and very helpful. Took my kids in there to pick out their fish for their new fish tank ( on a Tuesday at 2pm so not busy AT ALL). There were so many dead fish floating around. Not a good situation when your 11 and 9 year old are picking out fish for the first time. The boy was helpful that helped us but he had to navigate around the dead fish to get fish out for us. There wasn’t really any other animals to take care of in the store because of Covid so you would think they would have the time to clean the tanks.I hope when we go back tomorrow to take our dead snail ( that was dead on arrival... but hard to tell with snails) the tanks are cleaned up.Dani

My dog has separation anxiety and here David the groomer has so much patience and love to share with him. My cat also is been treated so good here. More than 10 years taking my pets here.

I carried in a prescription for special cat food to the Lake Mary location from my vet because I wanted to try out the flavors on my cat before purchasing in bulk online. The receptionist at Banfield Veterinary Hospital inside PetSmart was super helpful and I was able to get what I needed. They give you a card thats good for 6 months and you use that to check out at the regular cash register after that. Nice, efficient system! So grateful.
