So I was shipping an Easter present for my daughter up north on a Wednesday. I get everything packaged up and go to the counter to pay. The worker is scrolling through all of the shipping options then says your total is $23.45. I pay and she says, here’s your tracking and it will be there Monday. Monday???? When I asked why she didn’t offer any options she tells me that USPS did away with all 2 and 3 day service and she just assumed I didn’t want to overnight it. I said, well it would have been nice to be given the option! She looks it up and says it would have been $82 with a look that says, I know that’s too much so I made the decision for you. WHAT????? I will never again, as long as I live, ship with USPS. You lost a customer for life!!!! And I’m canceling my PO Box too!

I had updated my PO Box to a business months ago per the instructions of someone working inside this Post Office location as well as the USPS phone customer service.This post office supervisor claims they don’t receive notification of someone updating their account to a business address. They refused 4 of my packages because they were listed under my business name which is correctly listed on my online account.This post office needs a new supervisor, more training and a lot of work. If they had put a notice in my box saying they wouldn’t deliver to my PO Box because it had a business name, I would have immediately waited in the 30+ minute line they always have and rectified it immediately. Lazy supervisor and lazy employees. This place needs a full overhaul.

I’m not sure which facility is worse, this one or the Seminole-Orlando one. They both see to play “pickle” with my packages as they’ll bounce my parcel back and forth between the two facilities while my residence is between the two.USPS may be cheaper than other shipping methods but it’s because they suck. Plain and simple.

I accidentally mailed my new eye glasses to my old address in Lake Mary and my old complex was being useless about getting me my new package. I called USPS and a very nice man said he would have the mail carrier retrieve the package from the mailbox and forward to me. I just received them today and I am very thankful and satisfied that USPS was able to help me in a timely manner!

Had an issue with a delivery that I only just realised was meant to have been delivered weeks ago ( due to the pandemic, I completely forgot about it ) .I got an email from the post office shortly after I filled the online form ( not an automated one ).Few days after the email I got a followup call from the post office to resolve the issue (issue that was no fault of the post office but the company I ordered from) . The staff I spoke was so polite and concerned. I was so impressed. Its been ages i received such service . Thank you Mr Lucas !!!

Ive never had any terrible service issue here as Im reading that other have had in the past. I gave a 4 rating and not a 5 rating because there are 2 post office workers that arent overly friendly that work in the front. I have a P.O. Box, its my 1st time Ive ever had one and Ive had a few questions over the last few months, causing me to stand in line to get the information..I didnt catch either of their names but they were rather blah and could use a happiness infusion lol Other than that, they are on point with information, and getting my mail to me in a timely fashion!

They claim to have delivered a book to me yesterday based on there tracking number. called the local post office number and no one ever answers. i was there when my mail was delivered and i went to box and had 2 letters and no book. No idea who they delivered the book to but it was not me. Trying to get assistance from the local office is a waste of time.

I have sent two usps boxes to my brother-in law, non of the packages I sent were delivered to him, even though I received a text saying they were delivered he is at an adult care facility, so it just makes me wonder what has happen, did someone take them at the post office or someone at the facility? I tried to reach out to the post office but all I can do is press numbers, the whole thing is very up setting!!

I ordered two different times with the same company back to back. One order bypassed this Lake Mary distribution center and went from Ormond Beach to Seminole-Orlando and all the way to the west coast in 3 days. The second order went from Ormond to Lake Mary (where it sat for 3 days) before you delivered it to Seminole-Orlando. An item thats supposed to get here tomorrow will be late because you sat on my package for 3 days. How can one package be delivered in 3 days and it takes you 3 days to load my package in a vehicle to drive it 37 miles south. Now I have to wait for my package to travel nearly 3,000 miles to get here when it should have been in the state already but you chose to twiddle your thumbs and sit on my package. This is why people choose to ship through UPS over the post office.

I have sent to my Son in Lake Mary on April 15/2020 an important envelope by regular mail which he never received, 2 weeks later I received it back in my office endorsed as ANK which means Attempted unknown, address was complety correct and he lives there since DEC/2019. On Tuesday MAY 5/2020 I have sent again the envelope but at this time I have paid for a Priority Envelope and a Delivery confirmation tracking number, in this case it shows up as no access on May 7 at 1:34pm, and it will be attempted again the next business day which of course USPS did not try again. Im a letter carrier in Miami Lakes and I dont know how the Post office will survive with this bad service.

I really root for the united states postal service, especially since they are so badly on the road ropes due to electronic delivery amazon etc.....but please please use a different postal location for effective delivery. Have received damaged items from this post office multiple times. Also mail continuously is delayed due to alleged lack of postage even though its been weighed and metered at home or by sending entity.

I called to ask about getting new mail box keys because I lost one of mine. They answered on the second ring ( think he said his name was Sonny) and he was pleasant and helpful.My mail carrier is pleasant and I had to pay COD for mail once and didnt have change and next day change was in an envelope in my mailbox.When I come into the lobby I always end up getting helped by the nice Jamaicans lady who is polite and friendly.Im shocked reading some of the negative 👎 reviews because the lake mary post office for 11 years that Ive been here are exceptional. ...

The worst post office Ive ever encountered. They withheld a package from me that I payed shipping and handling on already, and forced me to pay an additional shipping and handling fee. So when I went to the post office to pick up my package, that was supposed to be left at my door, the gentleman goes to the back to retrieve my package, comes back to the counter and throws it/drops it onto the scale. He completely disregarded the large red sticker on the package that specifically says: fragile Handle With Care. So when I get Home, I open my package and to my extreme disappointment obviously the glass within the box is all shattered. At this point Ive already taken extra time out of my life and busy schedule to come pick up a package that was supposed to be left at my door, paid an additional shipping and handling fee only to have my package thrown at the counter to destroy my personal belongings inside. Not to mention, the glass inside was a sentimental item. At this point, I try to call the post office MULTIPLE TIMES, no one answers, but someone picked up two of those times and hung up on me. What kind of governmental facility is this? Who are we staffing here? I work in customer service, I make less than our post office carriers/employees, and I still uphold a more professional manner than the employees Ive encountered here. Clerk # 12 on 4/25/17 at 8:48am Handled my package. Who knows which employee broke my belongings with the mistreatment, but it wasnt broken when it went out.

Ive been using them since my dad moved us to Lake Mary when I was little, for 25 yrs . I live 5 minutes away and it convenient. They have 3 postal machines to use instead of standing in that long line which is a life saver plus its available 24 hrs. Staff always nice and friendly. Clean well maintained post office. Trust me if you dont think so make the mistake and go elsewhere.

I call two days after a package says it was delivered. I give them the tracking number. They say it was delivered. I am referred to the SUPERVISOR. He accuses me, the sender, of lying. He accuses my coworker, the recipient, of lying. He goes and checks the parcel locker--they have the package. No Im sorry, just that it will delivered and he hangs up on me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I was waiting in line and was able to see in the back. The guy was tossing packages (big to medium boxes and large enveloped packages) into a crate from 10 feet away. This is not how you show respect for peoples packages. Show a little respect.

Moved from Lake Mary and filled out the forwarding address form. Almost a month later and still no mail. The new owner of our house has been writing a note on the mail and putting it back in the box.Post Office said they have the record of the change of address but apparently the delivery guy was never told. So, what has he been doing with our mail???? I guess it is not a felony if they screw with the mail, just if we do it.

The manager at this LAKE MARY BLVD location is not professional & does not do what he says he will do. Mailman put my package in wrong mailbox & so I made a complaint for a lost package. They said they would reach out to me Saturday & Monday but he did not call. I am thankful that a neighbor returned my package to me after mailman made that mistake and the mailman swore up & down he put it in my mailbox. Nonetheless I received my package but If I didnt the POST OFFICE did not return my CALLS. I would have been out of a package due to lack of customer care by manager not doing his job.

My daughter had this experience with the Lake Mary USPS last week. My college text books were put in a locker next to my mail box in a cluster type box at my condo unit. The key was broken to open the box. Called the Lake Mary PO promised they would put a new key in my box. Next day same broken key in my box. Next day back to the PO they promised to fix the box ASAP. Next day Im back at the post office wasting my time and energy with employees that dont care about me my college my books or their job. Finally the next day thats 5 days to get my books 50 feet from the broken box to my door here is what our postal carrier says to me. NOT IM sorry for the delay,not we messed up on your book delivery. NO he says you must be stupid for not being able to get your books out and you got me in trouble with my boss for telling on me. I am thinking of calling the police and reporting him for intimidating me just because he didnt do a simple job. I am a single college student and now Im afraid to even get my mail or see this carrier again. My dad and friends say call the police and contact a higher up in the Post Office. All this energy just to get my mail and feel safe. Go to another PO not this one. And report any problems you have there. Maybe that will help the service at that location.

Lived at my current residence for about 2.5 years now. There is a smallish mailbox that covers about a dozen homes and they have messed up the mail at least 30+ times. I get various neighbors mail and they get mine and everyone gets each other. I am lucky so far in that my neighbors are honest as packages seem to be misdelivered the most. I am still missing tons of checks and gift cards from 2 years ago after we moved because they forward our mail to an abyss and none of it has seen since.

Repeated incompetence. Time and again, mail that should be delivered to me is either returned to sender or lost forever. Today when the carrier was asked about a package that was supposedly delivered yesterday, he replied that the address didnt exist. !?!?!?! If true, where was I living, and why did all that OTHER mail show up in my mailbox????? And why did he report that it was delivered if the address doesnt exist? Incompetence, followed by cover up and excuses. Oh, and Ive tried calling - they dont answer the phone.UPDATE: A year later, and nothing has changed. They lost another package, after claiming they delivered it, then claimed they rescheduled delivery, then claim the tracking number in invalid . No one at the post office answers the phone. Thats the third missing package in the last 2 months.

I pointed out that I heard her and how unprofessional it was. She was told not to speak so loudly next time. REALLY?! 2) Returned mail as undeliverable because there was no such street. Every single week, I have a problem with my packages. I take the package to the post office, with tracking numbers, and the package either sits in the facility for three days or get lost somewhere, that I must inconvenience myself every single time to call the 800# which im on hold for over an hour to open a case, or walk directly into the PO and stand in line, to be told they will look into it. NEVER had this problem except with this post office. I am afraid of this post office, I always have a problem with the packages sending and receiving.

Ive had mixed experiences there. Most of the people ive personally transacted with have been great, but ive seen negative attitudes, unwillingness to help, etc from others there.One issue was a couple of months ago I had a piece of mail go to Orlando and it got lost, which I had been sending it Monthly via Priority mail but couldnt stand paying nearly $7 each month to send two small pieces of paper when it was no more than 20 miles a away and always got there the next day when I checked the tracking. I was inquiring about putting a tracking number on a standard piece of mail and about an envelope that was a Priority Mail envelope that had Variable Rate printed on it. I didnt bring the envelope I saw in the lobby and the envelope display didnt have any. I asked the man behind the counter and he said all Priority Mail is sent flat rate. I told him about the envelope(which is the big flimsy one, bigger than legal size paper) and he rudely said again that ALL Priority Mail is flat rate. I didnt push it further because there was a long line and I got the feeling if I went to get one he would tell me to get back in line. I checked again to make sure I wasnt seeing things and Variable Rate was there. How can they not know they products they offer?Just before getting to the counter I was in line and started talking to someone who was waiting for an employee and it looked like he worked fr the Post Office but wasnt in a standard uniform. I pointed out a few thing- attitudes, inefficiency, not caring about the customer, etc and how they needed to fix these things and he said they are not allowed to fire anyone? Hello, thats a HUGE problem! No wonder why people behind the counter there dont feel the need to be more personable or do more than just getting by, and in some cases im not sure that criteria was met!Until they can get rid of bad apples and people cant take their jobs for granted and get away with it I dont see things changing and they will continue to lose more than $1 BILLION PER YEAR. As taxpayers who pay for this service, and therefore the employees who work there, we should be outraged until changes are made!
