Wow what a great counselor, real know how to talk to you on a personal note, and understands where you come from on a daily basis, will help in emergency when no one else did, I recommend him 100% for everyone.

While embarrassing to share, me and my fiancé sought out Steve for relationship counseling following infidelity on my part. Mr. Sutherland did not seek to understand what brought about the issues in my relationship but instead was very quick to develop his opinion without clear understanding of our underlying issues. By our second session he suggested my fiancé seek out medication to ease her anxiety despite my concerns for her addictive personality. Mr. Sutherland was so concerned for my fiancé that he invited her out for drinks in private calls following our first two sessions. My fiancé declined Mr. Sutherlands advances. Unfortunately my fiancé did seek out medication that Steve suggested and quickly began abusing these substances. Currently my fiancé is in rehabilitation for substance abuse. This was never a problem until we met with Mr. Sutherland. I have filed a complaint to the state licensing board to prevent Mr. Sutherland from ever abusing his position as a counselor ever again. At best he is irresponsible at worst he is negligent. I advise any couples seeking counseling to steer far away from Mr. Sutherland. I will update this forum upon conclusion of my complaint with the state board.
