Fun place for sure! Only part that sucks is if you are an honest paying customer. Because they dont check to see who actually pays and who just swims out there to use it for free. Super disappointed they dont keep up with that better, to make it more fair to the people that are honest.

The blob isnt fun anymore.. the equipment is in need of repair.. the rope was tied in knots you couldnt even use the launch pad cause it was down and it was just sketchy. they are charging local adults 30 dollars to even enjoy it. it aint Disneyland !!!!! It cost 50 bucks for 2 kids and my boyfriend. We wont be returning.

If I could rate a zero I would. The boat was not safe at all that we rented… I approached the owner Frenchie @ 12:45pm and asked if they had any rentals left for the day, he said yes and that he would give me a discount and charge $100.00 an hr because “it was a slow day.” I thought he was being fair, so we rented the red and white ski boat. We got on the boat and there was trash everywhere, we also didn’t end up leaving until 1:30pm because they were towing in a broke down jet ski… After getting out on the water we realized how poorly kept the boat was, the cushions were flying off compartment doors wouldn’t stay closed and the leather seats were sun faded and cracked. Once we got out of the no wake zone the boat was terrible on the water and wouldn’t stop slamming down, the boat also began to accelerate on its own. Leaving us feeling very uncomfortable and unsafe. The boat each time we would come to a slow pace would shut completely off at random and not allow for proper control. We returned the boat thinking we would get a refund and got nothing but attitude and the owner saying to dispute the charges with our credit card company. We returned the boat 3 1/2 hrs earlier, we thought he (the owner Frenchie) would be reasonable and refund the difference or allow us to take a different water craft. This did not happen and was met with attitude and we were told we were making it up and Frenchie told us “you’re just hot and mad!” We we’re completely in shock because we were referred by another person who had good things to say. Buyer beware, DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Check you vessel before taking it.

I rented a boat from this location and it was a mess. First, the boat didn’t have an anchor which we asked for but they failed to provide that. Also, the boat had too many issues like it stopped too many times during our trip. When we were renting the boat we noticed a really bad attitude once they looked at our name which is middle eastern. They had us sign for the papers the day before without us being able to check the boat the second day which we asked for but they refused with an attitude. Also, they told us they we are not allowed to pull up the boat motor up which was a red flag for us. We went through with our day without stopping once since we didn’t have an anchor. When we came back, they told us they are going to charge us 500 dollars for the motor fan damage. They said that the fan was newly installed the morning of our sailing day. We then asked them to provide us evidence as a checklist or receipt to prove that and they refused. Then, they charged us without approving it.

Had a positive experience with the kayak rentals. The owner was nice and gave us a small discount on two single kayaks since the tandem one was up not available. Would recommend.

Rented a pontoon boat for 3 days…. Needless to say the boat is hard to turn and hard to get to start you have to put it in just the right Setting to start… We Noticed that it was leaning the the right during our first day we told them… they said it was taking on water in one of the tanks… they did nothing to fix it until the last day which we showed up at 9:30 and we did not see the boat… we were told it’s at the work shop getting “worked” on and it would only be 10-15 min till the boat got to us… an hour and a half later at 11:00 the boat finally comes back still leaning and the guy driving it says he worked on it till 11pm the previous night repairing the issue…. The boat still leaned to the right still got everyone wet on the left side… then they tried to blame us for it taking on water… they waisted half of our day because we had to wait for the boat all because we listened the the owner and left our life vest on the boat since we were gonna be back town next day, it was very frustrating and ruined the last day of our vacation don’t rent from this shop…they would only give us $100 off for the inconvenience we paid for a full day we should get a full day…

Took my 7 year old son here & rented a jetski. We took it out for 2 hrs. The jetski looked brand new which made me happy. I had no issues with the jetski & had a blast with my son. We definitely made some memories we both wont ever forget! : )The crew working were very nice & helpful. I will be a returning customer.

My son and I had a great day at the Beach Shack! We rented a waverunner for a very reasonable rate. We had a fantastic time going through the channel, under the London Bridge, and wide open on Lake Havasu! Everyone at the Beach Shack is super friendly including the owner, Frenchie!! The beach around the shack is by far the best beach in the area! The water was a little cold, but we were having such a great time, it didnt matter. This was our first trip to LHC and we cannot wait to go back!!

This place is a rip off, we will never go back to this place. I called ahead to ask if they had military discount, and the lady said yes 10% off. We get there to rent a pontoon boat and the guy said they don’t offer that, so after arguing they finally gave it to us. We rent the boat for the day and never beached the boat or had the prop near rocks, we get back and dock, and the guy in the shack immediately says we had damage to the prop but the guy tying off the boat wasn’t even done doing a walk around. When arguing to see a before photo of the prop that included boat 14 he couldn’t prove it, he kept trying to show me a picture of a good prop but had no time stamp. In the end I was forced to pay an extra $100 dollars. I start to leave and while grabbing my stuff, the next people walk up to the guy he told them they had a fuel leak immediately. They are ripping people off left and right.

I felt bad for a family I saw today so I created this google account just to leave a review. He literally cursed at them at the top of his lungs and acted all crazy like. I then asked the family what happened since I saw them wait about 3 hours next to us and it turns out they waited 3 hours to try and get the boat they already rented a day ago. Nick the psycho owner gave it to other people who literally just called the day of.Absolute maniac. Please dont go here. We rented our stuff at a place 5 min away which was cheaper and more reliable.

If i could rate this place a negative I would do that. Horrible service. We rented a boat for the full day. We said we wanted it the next day and when they deducted rounding up to $1000 from my account they said I didnt rent the boat. They gave me an old boat that was ripped and stuff. Then we waited 3 hours to get into the Lake while some random family showed up and took our original boat. The owner with the bad haircut cursed at me and my family after I said i wanted a refund???

Business never returned my phone call or email even though the website said to contact them that way. Finally went to the shack in person. Employee was not very friendly and his only instruction when I asked the best direction to go on the paddle board was watch out for boats. Paddle board was the inflatable type and not properly inflated and therefore more unstable (Im not a newbie with one). Dont expect people skills and check equipment before you head out. Lifejacket on the board was falling apart as well.

Personality goes a long way. We made a last minute decision to rent a boat one afternoon when we had come down to walk the dogs. There wasnt a breath of wind. By the time we go out of the no-wake zone, there where white caps and it became a pretty miserable experience. Somewhat self-inflicted as we knew wind was forecast but there was no sign of it.We were prepared but not excited about eating the four hour rental and being done but Nicholas worked with us to come back another day and finish the rental out. A clear advantage of being there in the slow season.The boats are a little tired but they are working on them before the start of the season. Most importantly, they started on first turn.Six stars for service. Four for equipment makes for a five.

This great little rental company is owned by World Champion jet ski racer Nicolas Rius. If the location and customer service doesn’t get you, his sexy French accent will. He is charismatic and kind and made us feel like long lost friends. We will be back.

This people are stealing money from customers very bad.You rent a boat....no body take pictures when delivering the boat to you...and then when you return the boat....they come up.with some previous small scratches or small dents...and blame you and charge extra.for the damage.

Coming to Havasu next month. We need to rent a pontoon boat for a few days but after reading these reviews and being expierenced with pontoons, ski boat s and jet boats it seems they dont maintain thier equipment and falsely accuse customers of damage. I have enough sense to inspect the boat before leaving the dock and know what to look for but you cant fix rude and dishonesty. I guess they have never heard the best advertisement is word of mouth and thats why Im not choosing this place to rent out boat!!

We rented a pontoon boat here, and they were fantastic people! We had a great time on the lake in one of their nice new boats. We misunderstood the return time to be 7 (which is actually when they close the shack, the boats are due back by 5). Even when bringing it back in late, they were friendly and just wanted to know that we had had a great time. They did not even charge us for the extra time. We will definitely be back to rent from them again.

Their prices for Kayaks are very good. The customer service was good. What warrants a 3 star is because they gave me a defective kayak to use for an hour. After about 30 minutes on the water, the kayak started to sink. I thought I was doing something wrong but turns out, it had a huge slash in it that had been patched up previously. They were nice about it and simply have me my money back.

Mike was really great. He was super amazing with getting our large group taken care of with a boat and jet skis. Thank you for everything! We had an amazing time and we will definitely use you guys again whenever we come back.

The shadiest rental company in all of Havasu. They do not honor your reservation. our boat was paid in full, we arrived early, gave them our id and filled out the necessary paper work. We left to the grocery store and packed our things. When we returned they had given our boat away. Most likely to someone that paid them more. The french man running this company has zero integrity and zero business experience. he is extremely unprofessional.The owner hires young inexperienced and drugged out females to run his shack. They have no customer service experience and are immature. The Blonde high school girl working the shack seemed like she was on some kind of drugs, or just very slow. She stated she called me several times but i had no missed calls. i asked if she left a voicemail? No, Why not? her response, why should I? Then the young brunette high school girl seemed like she was extremely hung over. all she could say was, Okay Okay Okay, what should we do about it? You should not have given my reservation away.Anyway, we wont be using them in the future, their boats didnt seem very well taken care of or clean. There are plenty of other rental companies to choose from that will provide a much better service and and run by someone with some business experience.

We showed up and wanted to rent some jet skis with our 12 and 13 year old children. Since it was such a windy day and we were beginners, the staff guided us into a pontoon boat instead. It was a great decision and they helped us out tremendously!

I Was there with my cousins for the weekend. Price was $200 an hrand $500 deposit per jet skiWe each got our own. It was my first time riding a jet ski. At first we were going slow because you have to wait till you get past the cones to go fast. Once we pass the cones everyone took off except me. I got left behind because my jet ski was slow. Told my cousin keeping riding I need to go back. So when I got back i explained to mike and mark what was going on and they gave me another jet ski. As soon as I was out of the slow area I press the gas it picked up good. I had a blast. Once I got back I got accused of messing up the first jet ski and was told they would be keeping my $500 deposit because i damage it. They said I damage the chains or got it caught on chains not to sure. I told themThe jet ski didnt have no power and felt slow from the beginning. They still kept my $500 deposit because they claim I damaged it.Be careful when coming here they will rob you for your deposit.

Do not rent from this place. Very poor customer service. We rented a boat and upon arrival we had to wait for the guy to show up to start the process. Then we get in the boat and it is dirty and not even ready to go. The gas tank was half full and we asked for it to be full due to the fact that we would be going to Pirates cove and we should have a boat with a full tank. We were told by Mike, that we would have enough gas to get there. Sadly we did not and had to decrease speed in hopes to get to a destination to fill up and we tried calling the shack to get help and no one answered. We left messages no response. After the longest ride ever we were able to fill up but after docking the boat we had issues with the battery and needed a jump from someone. Once again calling the shack no answer and leaving messages no return call. We returned the boat and complained to Mark and he told us that the reservation would be credited due to all the problems. When we got home we tried to call the shack multiple times to talk to the owner no response. We tried to dispute the charges with our credit company and unfortunately we are having to pay for it. We have called and emailed and even sent messages on Facebook. No response what so ever. That is not customer service.

Very convenient location. Great customer service. Excellent location right on the beach. Lots of chairs and tables to sit and enjoy the beautiful Lake. Definitely the best choice in town to rent pontoons, jet skis, paddle boards, kayaks or water bikes.

We had an awesome time on the lake seeing everything. Mike was awesome, he gave us all the directions and ins and outs, that guys deserves a raise! Thank you so much for helping us experience Lake Havasu.

Should have read this reviews before renting from this place. It seems like if you tell them its your first time driving a boat they will take advantage and say you broke something and keep your deposit. What a terrible way of stilling from people. Same story than this other person’s review happened to us today. Will definitely not recommend renting from here, unless you want to give them an extra $500. I have to add that if something got broken in the motor, the boat would not have made it back with no problems.

Be aware!Owner try to rip you off once you return your boat add charge you lots of money.We return the boat and they didn’t let us go until they charge us extra 500$ on a prop that cost 64$ online. Then the owners play game with you and give you gasoline free and other things to make you feel better with your extra 500$ fee. Bad experience and we felt uncomfortable as tourist on a different state with many friends. Not worth it. Go to other places

If you’re coming on holiday, don’t book a boat with them. We booked a boat a month ahead of time, and came from out of state with a large group of family members, just for them to tell us they don’t have a boat for us while they have like 6 parked sitting. They said we have to wait a couple of days for a refund but when we booked, we paid and they took out the payment immediately. I’m only giving it one star because you have to give it at least one to write a review.

Me personally i wouldnt rent from Beach Shack their prices r crazy i posted photos its like 100 bucks plus tax n fuel. Then when it comes to the weekend they jack up the prices. The staff is rude and not friendly. I rented a paddle board and was not offered any help in getting set up.The person just pointed to it And said its over there. I noticed from the start it was hard to stand on. I went to shore and flipped it over no skeg!!! I went back to the shac and pointed this out to her and she said that the black plastic strip was it! The next day I went to the board shop by the bridge and had a wonderful time on a board that actually had a sheg, (fin).

We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hours and had a great time on the lake. We had no problems with renting the boat and returning the boat. They were very professional and made sure we had everything we needed to use the boat. I would recommend using Beach Shack Rentals and they are located on the Island on London Bridge Beach.

We rented a boat that was not even working properly, since we could not even drive it, we asked for a refund but they said we had to pay extra for damage. We also rented jet skis that day which we didn’t even go on but they charged us for that too. Not to mention the terrible customer service. If you want to waste your money and time, go here.

Very professional and they answered all questions and interactive people. Prices are vary affordable. Way cheaper then the others places we went to by far. We will be coming back to rent more skis. Every good place to have family fun.

I guess customer service doesn’t matter to these people. And can’t help but to feel that because of the color of my family’s skin is the reason for their subpar customer service. Their prices are 50% more expensive than other local rentals and again, the attitude was rude, and their customer service stinks.

RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!!!Paid 1200.00 dollars for a one day Pontoon rental on the 4th of July. The Charge was so high because I wanted to keep the boat out till 10 oclock to watch the fireworks .this was his charge for someone to come back in and meet us after hours .I was OK with it but then our party change their minds and we no longer needed the boat the extra hours .I brought the boat back in at 7 oclock 1 hour before they close and he would not refund me any part of the extra money that he charged me to have someone come out after hours .this place is a RIP OFF!!!!! PLEASE CHECK AROUND BEFORE RENTING HERE...... And FYI EQUIPMENT WAS IN POOR CONDITION!!!!!!!!

From the beginning the customer service was horrible. The owner (a French guy) was completely rude and disrespectful. The pontoon boat we rented was was dirty, the motor wasnt working properly. And the radio didnt work so we went the whole time without music. And when we addressed the problems, they just said I dont know, thats just how it is. Horrible rental place.

Ok so a very nice setting and the woman working the shack was very nice BUT if you want to sit on one of their lounge chairs, they charge $10 an hour! I could understand this if you werent a person paying for their services but we paid for two hrs of jet skiing and a fly board session. And it is $10 per chair per hour?!? Nicolas is the owner and flyboard instructor. The fly boarding is not easy for a beginner and can be painful and tiring. I would say if you are not in great shape or between 12-35 skip it. Not to mention it hurts a bit when you hit the water after being in the air. Also u will find yourself gasping for air now and then. In all fairness I am a smoker and not in great shape but pretty athletic nonetheless. Jet skis were great. Cool floating play area for $20 an hour per person.

We were the rental in the hotel recommended. Positive was the immediate availability of 4 jet skis.There are both very old and rocked as well as new devices. We were lucky and got the newer ones. Here, the devices generally appear to be in a relatively not so good condition, while the price is not below average. My jet ski had a broken rearview mirror and a storage compartment, the lock did not work. So I could pack no drinks on the several hours drive.I was already familiar with the technique. Especially annoying but I found the barely existing instruction in the local regulations. So I was not told that the first mile can only be driven from the shore with walking speed, which then told me the other boats a bit acidified with gestures ;-)The friendliness is unfortunately limited. I suppose, you will not get any goodwill here.
