My experience with the Invitation shop has been a NIGHTMARE. I ordered invitations online on a weekend for the Kentucky Derby. It was imperative that I have confirmation on this order and shipping and arrival dates upon placing the order. There was no indication of this on the site. I called and left messages over the weekend at least 5 times and no one responded to my calls. I then emailed them and said to cancel my order as I had ordered invitations elsewhere who could confirm the delivery date.Upon calling on Monday morning, the woman with whom I spoke said that yes they had received my order and had also received the cancellation. No one would confirm that the numerous phone messages were received over the weekend. Even though the order and its cancellation had been picked up that morning ( I was informed that they were closed on weekends), there would be a 50% restocking fee even though nothing had been done toward filling the order. I said at that point that I would not pay for that. She stated that I had checked an agreement box and therefore was responsible even if nothing had been placed in motion toward the order. I said that I did not intend to pay that with such poor communication. Of course they already had my credit card information. She said that she would get back to me. Never did. When my credit card statement arrived, not only had they charged a 50% restocking fee, they charged my card for the entire order!!! I called again and whoever I spoke to said that she would get back to me and of course, never did. Credit card statement arrived and no credit applied. Not only that, but when I called initially to cancel the order, I was very complimentary of their product and hoped to order from them at a later date. I suppose they dont have a handle on customer relations. I will be calling them again and will let you know what the outcome of that interchange will be. I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY if I were you.
