I have been a customer for 19 (maybe 20) years. This is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. I started with them when we were still using modems and data center wasnt even a word yet. I didnt know them or expect to use them this long, just needed someone that could host an application for me back in the wild west Yahoo was king pre-Google internet. Theyve hosted websites and email for me (and every other application). Ive used them to host hardware in their data centers and they have always gotten it right. Always. When there are problems, and there are ALWAYS problems with computers, they are thoughtful in listening to the problem and quick to move for a fix. I couldnt give any other company a higher recommendation.

These guys are AWESOME! My computer screen died on my all in one desktop computer and there was no way for me to retrieve any of my documents photos. A friend recommended Orange County Computer, Inc. in Lake Forest, so I called them. They were very helpful and told me they could transfer everything on my hard drive to my new lap top computer. I dropped off my old computer and my new one, and they did the transfer for me. It was super convenient and only $85. These guys are great and I highly recommend them to everyone! Thanks!!!

Get the quote for ALL the work upfront, it cost me $645 to transfer data from a Windows 7 to a Windows 10 computer and they had the computer for 6 business days putting my business on hold for that length of time. The “diagnostic” price was $85, which I thought would be deducted from the final total, but was not, they charged me $280 to transfer 7 programs, which I paid with the understanding this was the entire cost $85 + $280, but when I went to pick up my computer, they told me I owed them an additional $280 because the programs had multiple years. They knew that, seems predatory practices to me. Will never use them again nor do I recommend them.When I first called them before I took the computer there, they told me a simple transfer was $125. Don’t leave your computer unless you know exactly how much it will cost. I was shocked, I could have bought another computer for $645!

Alex and the team at OC Computer have been outstanding. We have a small business with a substantial amount of secure data that needed to be protected. The switch from a dedicated server to OC Cloud has been a game changer and huge time saver on our side. Worth every penny for the convenience and security. In the few instances when we have needed assistance, they are quick to answer my questions. Highly recommend.

This was the second time I used OC Computer. First was years ago and I really liked what they did for me then, so kept their card and contacted them again when my old Desk top conked out recently. Loved that their first contact person was a friendly woman (totally understood my non tech savvy lingo!). They worked WITH me and understood MY needs, not trying to sell me anything I did not need. OCC has been taking care of my computers for the last 5 years. My business is in the cloud and I love love love it. I can access my information anywhere in the world as long as I have internet. No time wasting repairs and every time I have the smallest question, they are quick to respond and usually take care of it remotelyI wouldnt hesitate to recommendL

While at a customers, my laptop drive failed. OCC did an awesome job of getting back my files, replacing the drive with minimal impact. Would greatly recommend.

Great customer service! I felt their work was professional and that they really care about their work. I had my laptop serviced there twice. I plan to have them clean my laptop every 6 months or so. I would recommend Orange County Computer Inc. if you need your computer serviced.

My mom took in my computer to troubleshoot a rebooting issue. They found out it was the hard drive failing. When they quoted us for a new hard drive, we accepted and told them to order the parts. Later that day they called back and said they quoted us for the wrong hard drive. Since they made a mistake, we paid for the cheaper quote they original gave us. 4 months later the hinges on my computer started to crack and keep my laptop from closing. Eventually over time, it caused the screen to separate from the back. I came back to drop off my computer. They called a few DAYS later to tell us that they can’t find parts for my HP laptop, which is only 3-4 years old. The website says they do hinges but they stated it was the screen that was broken, not the hinge. Whether that’s true or not, I went to pick up my computer with $85 gone from my pocket and no fixed laptop. They failed to inform us that they only order parts from their certified vendors and will not order from websites like ebay. I paid $85 for them to disassemble my computer and search the internet. If there was anymore than 10-20min “invested” into searching for parts, than the $85 was not worth it. Some businesses need negative reviews, so I’ll leave this one here. I am obviously not returning here, and I do not appreciate the employee’s and/or business owner(s) talking down to me like I know nothing. Thank you for reading my review.

Over the many many years Ive been with this company they have always been most supportive and quick to fix and answer any of my challenges Ive had over the years. The staff is top notch, always on their A game and courteous....

About 4 months later the same lap top had an issue with the screen starting to separate. We took it in again. They called us a few days later saying they searched the internet and couldnt get a replacement but they found a new lap top for 300. I declined and we picked up the laptop. Within 5 minutes of searching the internet I found a complete replacement top including hinges for 125. Fixed by me. I am furious that I gave them 85 dollars to search the internet. We will not go back. I have 2 other lap tops that need things done but will find another company. 1/19 I just got the response and will be calling to get a refund. Thank you.
