Friendly staff, clean space. Bookings are easy via phone or the website. My cerologist was very friendly and easy to talk to. We chatted through my entire session which helped distract me from any discomfort. She explained post wax care and showed me which products to use. Ill be returning in the near future 🙂

Dana B was AWESOME!! She was professional and quick. I had a great time talking to her as if I had known her forever. This was my first time being waxed professionally and it went much better than expected. I was not pushed to do any unnecessary services or purchase any unnecessary products. Super disappointing experience. I went in for a full leg and bikini wax. The tech talked me out if doing my full leg claiming I didnt even have hair on my knees (which I do, but it is fine and blonde), but I think it was simply because I was using my first time customer 50% discount and it was her last service of the day. Anyways, my leg hair was plenty grown out for optimal results, but my the hair is fine and not terribly dense. Shouldve been easily removed just as it always has been in the past by myself and at other salons. I dont know if it was the fact that my legs were caked with far too much baby powder, or if it was the wax itself, or that the wax wasnt allowed to set up long enough, but the minute I left the salon I notice that I had stubble. Not just in one spot, but the entire area that was waxed. It was like the hair was was broken off above the skin rather than ripped from the root. It felt like your legs would feel after 3 days of not shaving rather than completely smooth. I had hoped it was just some skin irritation that would subside after a few days, but it never did. There were also stray hairs around my ankle that had been missed. I reached out via FB message to ask if this was normal for their salon, and was simply told if I wanted I could call the salon. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because the bikini wax was successful as far as the hair being removed as it shouldve been. Really sucks because I had high hopes to become a regular client here especially based on all the great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not that of the majority on Google.

Went to Waxing The City in Lake Charles today for an eyebrow shaping and the results were horrible. So badly uneven that I corrected it myself when I got home. I will never go back to the place.
