The lady that answered me was kind.I called this hospital at 11:51am to see if my boyfriend was there or not. Because Im looking for him.I asked Do you have a patient there name Johnny C.... She said do you know the patients ID number I told her No but I do know his birthday then she said sorry I cant give you any information without the ID number. Then I started crying again. She said but I can tell you if he was here or not I said oh okay thank you Then she hanged up.I only want to know if hes there or not.He said imma have to put myself in a mental hospital because his friend cant mentally support him. The last text he send me was im in a ambluance at 9:16pm (10:16pm Est) on Wednesday, February 17. He didnt tell me or his friends which hospital he was going.

RN Brenda illegally coerces patients to sign waivers against their will. Be careful. My friend went here of her own free will and decided 5 minutes in that this place was not going to work for her, she was just depressed and her Dr recommended going to a ward to try new antidepressants since they have medical staff should she get a bad reaction to them. Anyway she told Brenda the RN that she wanted to leave and Brenda screamed in her face and was incredibly rude and lied that she legally couldnt leave and if she kept refusing to sign then she would tell the doctor not to release her in the morning. And she wouldnt go home for a long time. Turns out it was illegal to keep my friend there against her will before she signed the waiver. Go figure. They keep removing my friends review when she tries to post it too. The hospital destroyed paperwork proof of this happening and is trying to silence us. There were at least 3 total girls there in that one night who had all had the same experience with RN Brenda. Also they covered up a r@pe that happened and blamed the victim for not screaming.

Horrible! I spoke with the Nurse Alicia in concern of our brother due to an emergency, even asked if she would please have him call us, after time had passed we called her back and asked if she asked him to call his family she then replied by saying hold on, then hung up!!!’ We called back and she forwarded our calls, we then called from our daughters phone then they answered and said she was busy!!!!!! I’m trying my best to reach cooperate to yell them how these ppl are running this place. They are so disrespectful and unprofessional!!!! Being that we live in NC we can’t go in person but I sure am going to notify whom o need to! We’re soooo concerned about our brother😔

Very bad experience. There was one nurse who illegally coerced me to sign papers I did not agree to via making threats of never letting me leave. Then I got the over 1200 dollar bill (for less then a 24 hour stay) quoting things that I never had done for me. Have already contacted a lawyer.

Worst place ever. Staff are rude hateful and mean. Nothing was helpful. This place makes things worst. Staff need to be replaced and maybe a new owner who knows what the hell the doing would be nice. Wouldnt even send a depressed dog here.

The worst support staff ever! Rude, condescending, unhelpful and unprofessional. I feel for the patients who go there in hopes of getting better. This is no place for healing, on the contrary. Kids are not allowed to spend time outside! Even major offenders in prision get one hour outside. No books for them to read. Just total isolation with uncaring staff.

Worst psyche facility in the state. No one on one counseling. Group therapy is a joke. The mattresses will damn near cripple you if you have back issues. They don’t know how to care for combat vets. Just a daycare center that is able to collect bookoos of money just by throwing pills at a problem.

Absolutly HORRIBLE place!!! Please NEVER send your loved ones to Oceans Behavioral Hospital (McNeese Street location). Especially if they are Alzheimers, Dementia or Parkinsons patients! They have no idea how to handle theses patients so they just over medicate them and keep them there the duration of their hold so they can milk medicare then discharged to die! I could go on and on and it would infuriate you and break your heart! PLEASE DONT TRUST THEM WITH THE LIFE OF YOUR LOVED ONE!

I laid in my own blood for a week!! Theyre idea of therapy is playing stupid childhood games !! The nurse would hang up the phone when one of us got a call. Stay far away from this hell !!!!

For those of you who have given this place a poor review and received a response that they take your concerns seriously and to call them, GOOD LUCK GETTING IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE or getting a call back.
