I luv going eat here but my issue is they CAN’T keep up the buffet. It’s always always empty and u are kept waiting on food to come out.PLEASE PREPARE ENOUGH FOOD SO WE DON’T HAVE TO WAIT 😩

Hands down the best golden corral Ive ever been to!! Very clean establishment nice atmosphere 👌. Best part of this place however even though all of it is great food cleanliness everything but the best I the staff here they are the nicest polite accommodating friendly above and beyond caring people great job golden corral and staff!!!!!

Small buffet but good variety of choices. Server was not very helpful but overall will return again. Fried chicken was the bomb!!

11 of us decided to go to Golden Corral on a whim.The dining experience was unbelievable. Our server (Pat ) was clearly experienced in her field. She was able to juggle 3 tables, 2 tables which were kids and still was able to WOW the adults.Thank you Golden Corral for hiring the best of the best.D C.Collins

Came to eat dinner, we paid for 4 people, my grandson decided he wanted a spicy chicken sandwich instead of eating golden corral and they refused to give us our money back for his plate. Will not come back again. On the other hand, if you are here, Eleanor is a terrific waitress. Unlike the people at the cash register. Rude and pay no attention to what goes on.

Fresh food. Clean environment. Friendly associates. Kids 3 & under eat free daily. Variety of delicious tasty food. The children were happy. We were certainly pleased with the salad bar, carving block the food was replaced immediately when it was low.

A long time Golden Corral customer,that knows what to expect when dinning at one. Day 2 for this location I decided to join them on the first breakfast service. Food preparation was on point and the service was excellent. Im not easily please and have high expectations. I expected good cafeteria stye food and good service and that what I got. 5 gold stars for the newest Golden Corral.

The service is pretty good. Not much to choose from in my opinion considering its a buffet. The food is ok, I dont find it all that great but my boyfriends family loves to go, so that means we go at least once a week.I like the rewards program, since we go so often we get discounts regularly.Only major drawback was we went for Fathers day. Got there 30 minutes before they opened to beat the crowd. At opening time someone pokes their head out the door and tells everyone that they wont actually open until 30 minutes after they are actually supposed to open.I wasnt waiting another 30 minutes to eat. We left to go somewhere else. We werent the only ones who left, about half the people who were outside waiting in line.

We had a family reunion in a private room . That was very nice. Will be back .

The buffet wasn’t stocked well tonight but the service was good. They had quite a few of the cook staff standing behind the buffet so I’m not sure why so many of the spots were empty.

The service was fast and friendly but the food was all bland! ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING! I went a few months ago and it was wonderful....this time i left still hungry. :( my daughter agreed.

The food was great and the staff was very nice and friendly. She always had a smile and got used items off the table really quickly. She made you want to tip her.

Weve tried this location a few times since its reopening, and it just hadnt hit the mark. I know its a buffet, but it hasnt reached any expectations. The service is not great, the food is sub par, and to be completely honest, the salad bar is the best option. And with the price, I cant recommend making this a salad stop. I still love golden corral. This location just isnt there yet. Hopefully in the future. 🙏

Rebuilt from Hurricane Laura.Everything is new and clean.Food was good but thought catfish a little oily (I love catfish).Selection is good and staff friendly.Silverware should be with plates. You need to ask for some.

My family and I went for lunch at about 1245. Nobody was standing to seat us so I picked an empty table that was dirty so it could be cleaned as none were readily available. The server, a black lady with jail braids, said no maam, someone is sitting there. Nobody was, the people just left. She only had to clean the table. Which she had to do regardless. A couple comes right behind me and sits at the same empty dirty table. She cleans it for them. Its always the people with bad attitudes that end up working for scraps as a server. As far as food, most of the pans were empty and took 20 minutes to refill, as if they were closing. Its the cheapest place for a buffet in Lake Charles but I guess thats why the service and food is medicore. Id be lying if I said Id never return🙄

This was my first time back since covid and I loved it! All the vegetable dishes reminded me of dinner at my Grandmothers house. Will be going back soon.

Food was good, hot and fresh.Neat, clean and orderly.The middle door of the entry was locked causing us to make ALOT of extra steps, all the way around to the other door for a disabled/handicapped person. This is unsafe also due to the number of people entering and exiting. We will not be back to this particular location.

The server first off was very good, the line barely had meat, I had an employee say they short on meat. For the price I think it should be better ran and have more of a variety. They literally have only 3 meat and they ran out of fish that leaves 2 meat choices! I havent been displeased in awhile with a restaurant as I an today 😡

My husband and I went to the Golden Corral today after church. The food was just OK. THEY dont cook nor season their vegetables nearly enough. I was looking forward to the meatloaf because it was very good when they first opened but I was very disappointed with it this time. It was dry and almost tasteless. Also, where was the cheesecake and bread pudding.

Very clean environment and staff was constantly wiping down everything. Hand sanitizer and gloves were provided for you before you served yourself. A great variety of food was offered and I enjoyed eating everything I chose. The icecream machine wasnt working so that was disappointing.

My visit to Golden Corral was good. The food was great the buffet was clean food hot dessert peach cobbler very good(sweet)but was good. The restaurant was clean an the waitress Kie(I think) was very fast friendly kept our drinks all in all I will go again an again.

The food was good but the wait time to be seated took for ever. We had a party of 5. There was larger parties. They had to wait a very long time

They did an awesome job with re-staffing the restaurant. The staff works well as a team and I took time to let the manager on duty know that I thought he was doing a good job too.

The food is great but, this Golden Corral is massively smaller than all the other ones that weve been to. The variety isnt all that great. They definitely charge a lot more than the others weve been to.

I love Golden Corral, love it. Except for the one in Lake Charles. It has been consistently terrible ever since they opened up after the covid. Not enough food to feed everyone, dirty, and terrible service. Drive on to Beaumont.

The steak that the gentleman cooked for me was on point it could not have been any better and they had Frozen Jack Daniels and other liquor drinks I was impressed all around

Our First Time back since Hurricane Laura... Its just opened back up.. as it was before.. the Food is AWESOME.. but as it was before.. theres a LOT of ANGER.. in the room in the middle of the dining area... You hear them slamming the dishes down. .. and one waitress was yelling about how she was the only one cleaning or something with the spoons and forks.. it was SO LOUD.. !!! But other than the LOUD noise and people cutting in line at the cash register.. it was AWESOME

This was my first time to cone here. Got here for 10:30. Clean. I got cold. Not much selection for the price you pay. Thought there would be more breakfast items there but the selection in general were slim to none. If you go by the website on what they would have DONT cause there was no eggs cooked to they way you want. No waffles or pancakes no beakfast items except what I saw and that was bacon.

Waitress was not very attentive to drinks. Kitchen could not keep up with the demand. Otherwise it was good.

I did have an interaction with one of the employees who happened to be training another employee, and became a bit boligerant with my brother after he inquired as to the location of our large party we were meeting after my grandmothers Homegoing Service, as to why I gave them 4 stars.

Because my mom aaked for a table in the front and they stuck us in the back because my mom has a bad hip but them Yankees didnt listen to her and she asked for the manager in the first place but they didnt listen

First and foremost the bathrooms are NASTY and that turned me off before I even sat down to eat! The building is nice on the inside I assume because they have cleaned the place since the hurricanes but it is small and packed we went on Saturday, late afternoonish. Now the food.... OMG..... It is sub par... The food took forever to come out.. The mac and cheese was bland the cauliflower was brown and dry, how, Idk??? The gravy was watery and sweet🙄. My kids enjoyed the pizza and chicken also the fish. I recently let carbs go so I tried to find selections that were Keto, but they didnt have a great variety. The salad bar was ok, it had plenty. And the steaks were the best thing I had.
