We’ve used Ace Air Conditioning for years and have always been happy with their service. We’ve been a preventive maintenance customer for years but forgot to renew with everything going on this past year. Even though we no longer had a contract with Ace, they came out to repair the unit within two hours. I should also mention it was on the weekend. The employees at Ace are always professional and courteous and they never leave a mess or any sign that they were there. I highly recommend Ace!!

I will always use Ace and no other AC service. Most recent experience, condenser went out and new one had to be orderedI was told it would be in in about 3 to 4 days. The part was in the very next day and repaired by 5pm. Only went less than 48 hours without AC. Best service in town!!!

New and updated heater/ac installation. Two installers came about 8:30 and left at 3:30. Very nice!

Technician came out to my house within an hour of calling and he was very friendly and honest. I was expecting to have to replace the whole unit or have a salesman try to have me upgrade to a newer unit but Mr Jeff was quick to diagnose and correct the problem at a reasonable cost.

Very pleased they answered on the weekend. They responded the first work day, diagnosed the problem; ordered parts and installed quickly. Very happy with the warranty.

The technician I was assigned was nice and on-time but he was not able to solve the problem I was having. I was told he was a 5 out of 5 rating and had 7+ years of experience but he totally mis-diagnosed my unit. I called another company the next day and they were able to figure out both issues and solve within no time.

Destin the tech called within an hour of us calling for help. He told us he would be here the next morning and he was!! He added Freon to our unit and said he believes there might be a leak. He also said that he would add a note to the ticket so they could come out during business hours to check on it. Very friendly and got the job done quickly. He drove 30 minutes one way to do a 5 minute job on a raining Sunday. We are so appreciative in south Louisiana for cold AC today. Thank you so much!!

Pros There is an on call ac repair guy that came out the same day and fixed it. The guy was knowledgeable and fixed it also they text message a picture of the repairman and his experience which was nice.Cons 1. Over priced! I had a simple motor installed in my compressor outside about 150 dollar part at most and the total bill was 778 dollars for about an hour of work from the time he drove in my drive to the time he left this also includes taxes and the 79 dollars service call. When I agreed to this price I assumed it would take a lot longer than 30 mins to install and I thought the cost of the motor would be higher. I looked on line and researched it after the motor was installed and that part and installation should run you 300 to 600 dollars on average. 778 dollars minus 79 for service call minus 75 dollars for taxes minus 150 dollars for the parts leaves around 475 dollars in labor for 1 hr of total work.Con number 2. I never sall the receipt while the repair tguy was at my house and the service man never explained why it cost so much he just gave me a price and the house was 85 degrees on a Sunday so I was in no position to say no. The company emailed me a receipt after the service tech left. The receipt was not detailed oriented the only thing on the receipt was 699 dollars for the work and the 79 dollar service. There was no cost of parts or labor breakdown.Con number 3 the serviceman was very quick to leave he did not even clean out the leaves at the bottom of the compressor and he was not the most friendliest he was just trying to leave as fast as he could. For almost 500 dollars in labor which is ridiculous for 1 hour of work I would expect the serviceman to be more friendlier and not rush out the door because he is oncall Sunday afternoon.Bottom line this company takes advantage of people and charges the most it possibly can because they are quick. I would not recommend this company unless it’s an emergency because you will pay a high price for the convience.

Even though we had just been hit by our second major hurricane in six weeks, Ace Air Conditioning was quick to come out and to see what I needed. They were very thorough and explained everything to me as they checked out my system. At that time they also gave me choices and prices to fit my needs. I was impressed by the representative’s knowledge and how he did not pressure me into getting the most expensive choice. I did choose one of the best systems which did cost more. I decided this because it is rated as one of the top brands available with a great warranty. In less than one week they installed my system. The two men who installed my unit were very knowledgeable and professional. They each knew what they were doing and both got to work immediately. They finished without a break in just a few hours. The work was immaculate. I could not ask for more. I would highly recommend Ace Air Conditioning to anyone. If you want all your air conditioning work done right the first time, then Ace Air Conditioning is the best choice.

Came for a special 99 dollar service special. Have an old unit, and fairly recently purchased the house. I could not be home upon service mans arrival, so a relative was there to allow access to everything. He explained one issue we were having, which was a whistling sound coming from the outside compressor. He explained to the relative that it was probably the capacitor telling the motor to start, and the motor was not starting. My relative not being that bright, told him ok. Guess he took that as Ill replace the capacitors . When presenting me the invoice, he told me he did me a solid and only charged me for one, as he replaced the inside one also. He then told me this 99 dollar regular maintenance call was going to be 369. I was to say the least, a little upset. He told me the service was 99 and the replacement of the capacitor was 269. I told him that was ridiculous, as you can purchase a replacement from anywhere from 10 to 25 on the high side. Then replace requires no more then takin a few screws out, unplugging the old one and plugging the new one in. In the past, Ive had emergency call-out services where they did the same thing that havent cost near as much. This is how they get you. Dont use ACE. I never will again. I would have like to see the OHM reading on the capacitor. It probably wasnt even bad. Crooks.

Got charged 450 to replaced a 50 dollar condensate pump.the pump looked old and it broke down in less than a month.mailed ACE several times and not a single responds.my last time using ace AC.

Came in the morning and were finished around 4:30 or so. I am impressed, they stayed at it all day and GOTTER DONE.
