I cannot say enough good things about Fred and his flooring business. The responsiveness, the professionalism, kindness, and all around customer service was just the beginning. I had hideous 1/2 tile and 1/2 laminate flooring in my house. I found Fred due to a high recommendation from a family member. His team installed beautiful, luxury, waterproof vinyl my house doesn’t even look the same. On top of it all… They are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend his business. All you have to do is go in to his shop and talk to him and you’ll see what I’m talking about. He has such a kind heart and he takes very good care of his clients. Thank you for everything Fred

I visited the store with my wife and son after my home had sustained water damage. Fred was extremely friendly, knowledgable and steered us in the right direction. Unfortunately I did not end up purchasing because my contractor had a preferred vendor they wanted to order with. But in any other circumstance I would hands down purchase from Fred. His price was also super competitive right off the bat. No games, just straight up best offer! He knows this business inside out. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade or purchase new flooring.

While living in Seattle I recently purchased a home in Dana Point which was in need of fresh paint and new carpet. While doing research in the area I discovered a gem in Fred at First Choice Carpet and Flooring. Freds crews performed a total repaint of the interior of my home in addition to installing new carpet throughout all while I remained in Seattle packing up for the move. I am a real estate professional and have been both impressed and appreciative of Freds professional communication as well as his willingness to help me wherever I needed it. The paint work turned out beautiful and the carpet installation was very high quality. Fred hit his schedule and finished early so that my house was ready for me to move in when I arrived from Seattle. I was very happy with everything he did and his pricing was very fair. I cannot say enough good about Fred and First Choice Carpet. I can easily refer him to all of my friends and neighbors.

I have used Freds services on 2 different homes. He is the best in the industry! We just replaced 6000 Sq. Ft. of flooring in our new home in San Juan Capistrano. Most of it was LVP and 3 bedrooms and a set of stairs with carpet. It looks fantastic! It was such a seamless and timely project. He was done exactly on time and with beautiful results. He also connected me with Hector Leon who painted and stained the entire interior of the home ane replaced all my spindles with metal. Hectors work was beautiful as well I cant believe how well it all turned out it was over my expectations. I have had Amin do all of my countertops for kitchen and all baths in the past and I will use him for my new home when we are ready for that project. Fred and Amir were so easy to work with and if I had any questions or ideas they would be available immediately. Fred is the most honest, ethical and professional business team that I have ever worked with! He is like having a contractor without having to pay for one. His experience and knowledge are immediately recognized when you start talking to him about your project. Please save yourself from headaches and regret down the road and use First Choice Carpet & Flooring and you wont be disappointed.

My wife and I have used Freds company twice--once for putting in our new floors and secondly for putting a runner on our stairs. Both jobs were done superbly and for a reasonable price. I would recommend him to any homeowner. Also I would like to give a special shout out to his employee and good friend Francisco who treats her job as if he is putting the new floors and carpet in his own house.

This is the most amazing One Stop Shop!!! I have worked with Fred and his entire team and they are the Best!!!Their prices are so fair, their workmanship beautiful, and a treat to work with. Fred is a great listener, and always has a solution for anything that may come up. His team is amazing, everyone skilled and professional.Over the last 15 years they have done carpet, wood flooring, stair way renovation, wallpapered, kitchen and in February starting the last bathrooms. I live nearby and I came across the store when I was shopping. I had the misfortune of getting a pattern carpet that was not installed correctly, it looked terrible! I spoke with the owner and he simply did not care! I called the manufacturer who came to my home and did an inspection and confirmed that the carpet had not been installed properly. I have since had my carpeting replaced and It looks fabulous!

Five Stars!!! (And being a former teacher, I don’t give stars easily!) I have put off replacing my flooring for at least a decade. I just was not up for the decision-making, disorganization and cost. Fred changed that! He made the whole process so easy! He advised me regarding choices, responded quickly to any questions, was always upbeat, offered a good price and made the process go smoothly.I had LVP installed in my bathrooms, kitchen, and foyer. Carlos and Matias did the hard work. It was so beautifully done and well-crafted, I was wondering around staring at my floors for at least an hour after they left. Carlos told me to report anything that bothered me immediately and they would take care of it. I haven’t reported a thing and am still staring at my beautiful LVP floors!Francisco, Juan, and Alex came in like carpet ninjas! They carefully and quickly moved my heavy furniture. They treated it like it was their own and none of it was scratched, stained, or broken. They worked rapidly and with such craftsmanship. Ripping out the old carpet was done with precision and the new carpet installation is beautiful! Like Carlos, Francisco asked that I report any dissatisfaction and stated he would take care of it immediately. In addition, my home was left like they found it but better with furniture carefully put back in its place…and with perfectly installed new carpet!I’m a busy person. I don’t often write reviews because I just don’t have the time. But in this case, to-do list…shma-do list. These guys are the best and I would HIGHLY recommend them!
