Always get a fantastic pedicure here. Karen is remarkable, BTW. Its spacious, almost always takes walk-ins. I bring my own polish, but if I didnt, they have a ton of colors to choose from and a menu of services including nails.

I started going there two months ago because I absolutely love the work they do. I’d like to share my experience from yesterday. When I walked in some lunatic was yelling at one of the girls over the phone I could hear her from the phone and I was ten feet away. Young girl (Misty) was patient throughout the conversation while she offered the horrible customer options. When she got off the phone she proceeded to help me. A few minutes later that customer walked in still yelling at the girls and specifically wanting Misty to help her. Misty was in the middle of doing my new set and asked the customer kindly to please wait while she finished my nails or someone else would be happy to help. The lunatic customer yells that they need to do her nails like they do in her country? then puts her hands on top of mine to get Mistys attention! I was furious!!!! I told her she had to step back and she was upset that Misty didn’t stand up for her. What goes on through people’s head!!! I could tell Misty was thrown aback and yet she still managed to take her time with me and made my nails look gorgeous. It saddens me to see how these girls can be treated when they do their best everyday. And even when their best isn’t the best it does not give anyone the right to treat hard working people like that. The professionalism and patience they had makes me want to go back even more for you can see they care about their job and what they do.

Okay so Modern Nails is located in Laguna Beach in the downtown area. Everyone is extremely nice and friendly. I had gel nails done by Teri and she is a perfectionist. I would ask for her.

Jenny is the best! Ive been going to her for almost a year and she always does a fantastic job. Very professional, good prices, and shes very nice and friendly. I highly recommend going to Jenny for acrylics.

They’re all nice and kind. Specially Misty. Every time that I go she does my nails the exact same as the picture that I show her. Highly recommend. They’re busy and u may have to wait but it’s not that long.

There service is bad we had a 4:30 appointment and we didn’t get in until 5:15 they were also really mean and my mom did not want to wait so she went across the street to sit down and my mom wanted me and my friend to go first and they said no if my mom does not go people are going to take our spots. Also my friend got her acrylics done there and that day of it broke because they didn’t fix it properly. Overall it was a Bad experience but I do recommend enchanted nails they are really nice and they do acrylics properly and fix them properly and overall is just a more relaxing and by the environment. And The prices are better.

They did a great job on my nails, but I cant give five stars because they made me wait 45 minutes before starting. Sitting with my feet in the water for 30 minutes of waiting was okay, but some notice about the expected wait would have been appreciated. Id known, I wouldnt have stayed. The wait made me late for my vrbo rental checkout... Thankfully my vrbo host was flexible, but the wait at the nail salon gave me some anxiety.

So bummed. I went with my teenage daughter and younger daughter to get our nails done and it was awful! My teenager was getting her nails done for a dance and he messed up the color and looked at her and shrugged!!!! 😡 my nails were so rushed and I’m still trying to clean polish off my cuticles. No hand lotion, no cuticle care - the worst. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Ami is perfect, fast and friendly. If you are needing a Mani or pedicure in Laguna Beach, in my opinion, there is no there choice. Reasonably priced and great service.
