Cajun Hostel was an excellent find! The host, staff and owner were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. We stayed here for over 5 months. The home is well equipped with EVERYTHING needed to be comfortable for one night or an extended stay. Its a short walk to downtown and the neighbors are friendly as well. Overall my stay was exceptional!! Thank you to the Cajun Hostel crew for a great experience!!! I would recommend these accommodations to anyone visiting the area.

So I had a phone interview with them this morning went great well she asked to do a video interview which was fine she said 2:00 ok great then she msg me saying it was gunna have to get pushed back til 2:30 I said that fine .I messaged her saying I could do earlier she said lets keep 230 ...ok well 230 get her I dont get a notication 234 I get on zoom to wait to see if someone on waiting nope well I wait a few I mes her saying Im ready she says she waiting 10 min n nobody came on I call back on that so she like well we will go with someone else apparently she doesnt have good speaking skills

If you stay here then beware: before you do anything else you should go through the entire house, document anything that doesnt work or is broken, and immediately bring it to the attention of the owners. We failed to do this and so were stuck with the cost to replace a chair that was already broken when we arrived.

An amazing location! The host was available and checked on us periodically. The location and setup of the stay was cozy and warm. Like a home away from home while still feeling like a vacation.

Stayed here before (& enjoyed myself), but recent renovations have made this home wonderfully cozy- check-in is a breeze, with ample parking, super clean (a covid +) and host available to answer my questions- would and will stay again!

Clean, well kept space along with easy to reach hosts make the Cajun Hostel on the Crest a no brainier when I need to entertain clients, seclude fir a deadline, or enjoy local nightlife.

Ive stayed here many times and absolutely love it. Its cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need. Theres a full kitchen complete with pots, pans, utensils and even gumbo and soda for sale. Its in a quiet neighborhood thats just minutes from downtown. There are three bedrooms in the house but Ive only stayed in the master, which has a queen bed, closet, dresser, and nightstand. Its also very affordable compared to a hotel, and you get more amenities and space! The owner even leaves chocolate and wine in the room as an added bonus!

Beautifully laid out. Peaceful and clean. Crazy comfortable bed. You wont be disappointed, especially if you think TV is a distraction (none here!). Owners have done well with this little gem.

Very nice house. Was welcomed as soon as we opened the door. The rooms are clearly mark so its easy to figure out what room youre in. Chocolates by the bed were very nice. 10/10 would recommend the cajun hostel.

Booked at short notice and cheap, but in the end you would have preferred to invest a little more. Shower tray disgusting and closet unusable. Free parking and easy communication with self-check-in earn one point.
