The beds were very comfortable and the room/ bathroom was clean. The hotel staff were very kindCheckout is at noon. However, the hotel rooms and bathrooms are in need of a lot of repairs. Its very outdated. Also needs another elevator or a bigger elevator. The only part of the hotel that looked updated was the lobby. You have to pay for breakfast. The fitness center and pool were closed. The bathroom door wouldnt close. The wallpaper was peeling in the room. The toilet seat was broken. One of the lights next to the bed didnt work. The furniture in the room gives off 1960s vibes. A racoon came jumping out of trashcan next to one of the entrances. The luggage carts do not stay still and will roll off the sidewalks or into other cars nearby in the parking lot. Its not what I expected for a 3 star hotel.

Positive: Quiet. It is slightly older but in decent condition. There is a new courtyard nearby but this one is less expensive and is perfectly fine. Negative: I did need to get pillows. The bed had four of the same at arrival, but the housekeeper brought up two different.

Came here on our anniversary (4-20) and stayed the rest of the week. Everything is great including the front desk clerk. The only thing that was off is how the breakfast cook had an attitude towards my husband on 4-21. Other than that we will stay here again for an special occasion.

The decor is modern very friendly staff and clean. Downside, you buy the breakfast, you buy the coffee from the onsight Starbucks, which is okay if you like Starbucks. But, nothing is complimentary. In the room was a nightstand that had outlets but could not be plugged into the out let to all you to use the outlets on the table. The plugs for the table, lamps and clock were to big for the one standard female outlet on the wall. Overall a good experience but some work still needs done.

Absolutely horrible!!!!! Booked a balcony room and got a legit patio..... Room is nothing like described. The staff was very unfriendly when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the room. They told me I could leave and that was all they could offer. One attendant mocked me when I stated that they were unrightfully charging me for a balcony I didn’t have!! Don’t waste your money! I’m so disappointed! First and last stay!!!!

Both rooms smelled bad. One smelled as though they were masking mold/mildew with carpet deodorizer and the other just like mold/mildew. The hallway on our floor had two huge commercial fans running for what reason I am not sure maybe the air conditioner wasn’t working or the carpets had gotten wet. The room refrigerator was frozen up so bad we couldn’t put nearly as many drinks in it due to the huge block of ice, and the bathrooms were in poor condition. They looked like they needed renovations 10 years ago. The bathroom door would barely close because the door side was split from the actual door hindering it from closing.

Check in was smooth and quick, staff has been quite polite and quick to address issue of a light being inoperative. Although the pool is closed, the whole reason we got a room here...wished it was posted, we wouldve found another hotel to go to.

Positive: Our room was nice. The staff was great. Negative: I reserved a balcony suite, but we were given a ground floor room with a sliding glass door to a tiny sidewalk. The door would not open.

Well they dont have complimentary breakfast you have to pay for it the lady at the desk when we checked said breakfast was free. A 20 oz drink cost 3 dollars and i wouldnt recommend staying here again. 👎

Quiet, clean, comfortable and big rooms

Very clean and very nice. There is a $60 fee at the time of check in. Just in case if you use their market place in the hotel. Be sure to let them know you didnt use the market for your reimbursement. The pool is closed due to guests allowing others that werent guests to swim and the filter kept getting clogged. Also due to them being on 2nd phase for Covid at this time. Other than that it was a nice stay with the balcony on the ground floor. Newly refurbished hotel and very nice stay for our first time in Louisiana 🥰

The Marriott Courtyard location was very good. The staff was great. And we loved the extra touch of cookies in the lobby and popcorn. its nice too that the Courtyard has a little bar and lobby. The only reason I only gave it an 8 is that Im used to Westin and W hotels with great lobbies and bars. For what it is though, the Marriott Courtyard Lafayette is great.

My experience at this hotel was awesome, even before my check in date. I had a reservation for 1/17 for my daughter’s birthday sleepover. I went to check the room out before checking in the next day. Somehow there was a mishap when making the reservation on the phone. Thankfully Cheryl the front office supervisor took care of everything. She listened to my concerns even though it was not her issue. While I was on the phone with reservations telling them about the incident Cheryl whispered we are going to take care of it Mrs. Stevens. The relief I felt after that was much needed. Everything went as planned. We enjoyed our stay, the room was Immaculate. Everyone greeted us with a smile.

I would not stay here unless cleanliness is not a problem for you. Stained showers, dirty toilet Tissue dispenser, vent full of dust, and the pool... nope! While there have been some updates this is a hotel that could stand a major face lift. The lobby has been updated nicely however, the rooms appear to be updated just enough to say they were updated. I am a travel agent that has a group of people coming for a convention later this year and I wouldnt recommend it. The staff was super nice the entire time but all I asked was to be moved to another room and was told “they all have “that” in the shower.” I brag and opt for Marriott all the time but this has been one of my least favorite experiences.

I have never been to a Courtyard before but I am strongly considering making this place my go to place. Everything was wonderful with our experience there from the very beginning. Doug was so welcoming and focused on our needs, made us feel like family. We wanted a room on first floor but there were none available at the time. We got there a bit early, it was no bother. So we made ourselves comfortable in the lobby while he made sure our room was top priority. He recommended a good place to eat for dinner and even provided step by step directions. He was able to answer each question we had and helped us with the Bonvoy app. The room was wonderful, breakfast the next morning was delicious and the staff behind the counter was very mindful of our allergies and able to provide detailed ingredients in each item. I do look forward to going back on my next trip to Lafayette!

Good place to stay comfortable beds 🛌 and friendly staff.

The check in process was quick and easy. The clerk offered suggestions for local dining. Starbucks was available downstairs the following morning. The room was immaculate. We also had a balcony, but due to the weather, we could not get full use. Although the housekeeping staff knocked on the door an hour before check out, we didnt have any issues with our stay!

My two children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. The beds were oh so comfortable and the food was delicious. Excellent front desk staff. I must have asked him for four or five different things and he assisted me with everything. I even needed extra paper to print work documents, and AAA batteries for my personal remote that the maintenance guy gave me just to help. The room is okay the shower is difficult, but the friendly service made it well worth staying.

Very very friendly staff and when I staff I mean as a whole from the Bitro, to cleaning, to front desk. They all go above and beyond with their service. One lady in particular made my child with special needs feel super comfortable which speaks volumes to a very exhausted mother. I appreciate all the kindiness and recommendation on the best pizza place to order from. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The indoor pool was so refreshing especially during the cold months.

After driving 8 hours in snail paced traffic, we stopped here for the night and it was exactly what we needed. Check in was quick and easy, the staff was very friendly, and the room was extra clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

With great service, it was easy to overlook small issues. The staff was most accommodating and friendly. The only possible improvements were: to have a dispenser of brewed coffee available; and better stocking of ingredients for the most popular menu items at breakfast. Very enjoyable stay!

I travel to the Lafayette area several times a year and the Courtyard Lafayette Airport locations remains the most convenient and best value in terms of amenities and service. New management has done a great deal to improve the hotels lobby appearance and the Bistro restaurant area is comfortable and welcoming. The food selection at the Bistro is very good with several very nice choices for breakfast from those that like an International flavor meals to those that like all the bells and whistles to accompany eggs, bacon, fruits and usually very good coffee. I recommend the Marriott Lafayette Airport location if you are looking for a nice respite while away from home with friendly people and good food.

The Courtyard by Marriott exceeded our expectations. The lobby was well appointed and clean, the reception was friendly, courteous and efficient . The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The manager at the Starbucks was amazing and the food was delicious. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly, although at times I felt that I couldnt approach them with questions because they were chatting with their friends who mustve been there to hang out. My children loved the free popcorn in the lobby. There were supposed to be cookies as well, but they never had any out. The room was very nice, TV options were decent, the indoor pool was GREAT, just wish it was open later, at least for adults. The optional, additional fee breakfast menu was not great. Im not sure there was anything on it that my children wouldve even eaten. There are many food options close to the hotel so that wasnt a deal breaker. Id stay here again for sure.

Our group stayed here 5 nights for a baseball tournament. The staff is very nice and attentive, they are good giving dinner recommendations and later follow up to see if you enjoyed yourself. The rooms were clean and comfortable beds. They also have a pretty good gym. They gave us access to a meeting room they had so we could gather the team there to give them lunch or hand out uniforms. They are located literally less than 10 minutes from the airport. Only thing I didnt care much about was the food. They do have a bistro that sells beer and wine and also some food. But they attempted to offer breakfast for us go out it didnt work out very well. But its not part of their regular service so I cant use that against them. Over all the stay was nice and the staff was super

Overall our stay was great I payed for a two nite stay in a suite the room was so clean and worth the money.!! What they don’t tell u is that only five people can be in a room and when I went to ask the front desk about it he was so so unprofessional I couldn’t believe the attitude he was giving me like he paid for the room..!! When reserving a room online they need to say all that..!!

First off, the front desk clerk Dejanae was beyond accomodating! She was extremely friendly and personable, finding me the best room, trying to get me in earlier, even leaving her post to pop me popcorn. She really is top-notch! (Give the woman a raise!!) The room was nice and very clean. I loved the balcony view. My husband and I sat outside until our noses started leaking, lol then let the cool air circulate in the room. My only regret was not booking room for a longer period of time but we had to get back to our normal lives. I would no doubt recommend this hotel to everyone I know and I will definitely be back when I need a quick get away!

Check in was 3:00 p.m. I arrived a few minutes after 3:00, but wasnt given my room until around 5:30 because a previous guest wanted a late checkout. Our room was acceptably clean, but not exceptionally clean. The purpose of staying at this hotel was to have a weekend with my grandchildren and use of the indoor heated pool. The heated pool was uncomfortably cool and staff indicated that the pool was not heated, but was simply warmed from the ambient temperature in the enclosed room. The hot tub was inoperable. However, the water in the hot tub was ice cold and to me it should have been the same temperature as that of the swimming pool since both are in the same enclosed room. I understood that is suite had a sleeper sofa, but in actuality, it was a love seat that with a pull out twin-sized bed and not a regular or queen-size which is what I would expect.

Highly enjoyed my stay. I was very impressed with everything the hotel had to offer. The bed was beyond comfortable and loved the fact there was a smart tv in the room. I was able to log into my YouTube account and enjoy my night. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. I also enjoyed the cocktails that were offered at the restaurant. Wish I could have stayed longer. Definitely got my money’s worth. :)

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very clean room, nice queen size beds rather than full size beds like other hotels. Lobby was nice and enjoyable for our soccer team parents to visit. The kids loved the pool. Only thing I wish was different was for the breakfast to be complimentary. I was surprised when my came back to the room needing money for breakfast. Overall very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a one night stay in Lafayette for my moms surgery at Lafayette General. This hotel was close to the hospital, very clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Added benefit was great price and location. Love this area near the campus and good restaurants nearby, like The Blue Dog Cafe.

Great hotel, great deal. Arrived very late at midnight after a 12 hour drive. Door was locked but ladies at the desk quickly opened up for us. Greeted by smiles and friendly ladies. Wish we had more time to checkout the hotel better. Staff was excellent too beautiful smiles everywhere. Hotel was great too.

The young ladies checking us in was very friendly and informed us of the times of the hours the Bistro would be open. Told us where we could find their complimentary fresh baked cookies were. Our room is spacious and very clean. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and neighbors.

The comfortable room and friendly staff made our stay amazing. In town for the birth of our grandson, each day coming from the hospital to the inviting atmosphere and sweet staff gave us a relaxing safe place to come together and await his birth. So grateful for the amazing people who work at this location!

Fast and easy check-in. Clean and comfortable place to stay for the few days I was in town. Pool and hot tub were nice and were indoor. Very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Rickey Meche’s Donut King. When I come back I’d book here again for the convenient location and definitely worth the price.

I stayed four nights at the Lafayette Airport Courtyard Marriott while visiting a family member in a nearby hospital. The hotel provided a nice shuttle from the airport to the hotel and upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see the new, fashionable decor in the hotel. The spacious lounge area, food and drink bar, and updated rooms were all well beyond what I expected. But the best part of my stay was the friendly and courteous staff. From the manager of the hotel to the room attendants, I felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel and would stay again if the opportunity arises. Great job, Marriott...the renovations are spot on.

The kids loved the indoor pool but were disappointed that there was no free breakfast. We were there during a hurricane and it gets expensive purchasing food at a restaurant three times a day for a family for three days. The hotel was clean, room was comfy and spacious and had lots of options and plugs for phone charging. For a family the two dresser drawers are disappointing and makes it tough to live out your suite case for several days. The balcony was a nice touch.

AC nice and cold. Bed comfy. Shower good pressure. I really never use hotel soap or shampoo, and the soap was actually ok. I would definitely stay here again.

I have to stay here for work and it’s one of my favorite places mainly because the staff is so pleasant! From the van driver to the front desk clerk to the cooks in the bistro. They are always happy to help!

Pool was supposed to be a heated indoor pool, it is not. Hot tub was out of order. Room we received was supposed to have a sleeper sofa and a tub shower combo. The sofa turned out to be a loveseat so the bed was smaller than expected and the tub shower combo was only a shower which was difficult being we had a few children in the room

My stay at the Courtyard Lafayette Airport was excellent. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and the decor was up to date. The bed was really comfortable and I slept like s baby. I loved the option to book a patio room that was a plus! I will definitely stay again!

This hotel was just right. We had a fantastic balcony room that allowed us to enjoy fresh air and our morning coffee outside. It was a nice touch. We slept great in our beautifully decorated room with a very clean and comfortable bed. Our linens and towels were super clean and fresh, and we had no problem obtaining extra when requested. The shower had great water pressure, and the hot water never ended. It was very relaxing. The food at the Bistro was absolutely delicious, and the prices and quality were very nice too. The staff here was exceptional to work with. They were super friendly, fast, and courteous, and they always greeted you with a smile! I was most impressed by the staff overall! :)My only complaint was the noise level of the doors in the mornings. The doors werent on the best closer arms or whatever theyre called, so all the doors would slam shut when people were coming and going. It definitely made it tough to sleep in on the weekend. Overall, our experience was a very nice one, and wed definitely recommend this hotel and would come back here again.

Its a great clean place to stay and spend a night. The staff are great people that treat their occupants like family. I enjoyed every moment I stayed there.

It was wonderful. Myself and two friends where driving through called them from the road everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was heavenly! Shower had good pressure and the coffee was fresh. It was an easy drive from Interstate 10. I would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay! The room layout and decor were nice. It was spacious, modern design and clean. Staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. Demetria, Kelly and Hayden were able to assist us in finding local places to eat, Mardi Gras parades and events and anything else we needed. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again on future stays.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights on business in Layfayette. Overall, it is a typical Courtyard. Clean, honest place to stay with nice rooms and comfortable beds. I did not experience any issues at this hotel, and even got a good nights sleep. The overall location is nice, just not easy to find if youre driving 45mph - slow down when you get close!

“Poor presentation/appearance”- Hotel Rm 204 very outdated/poor upkeep. Not worth the points spent. There were cords hanging from the cabinet in which the microwave/refrigerator were kept. The toilet lid was stained yellow, and there was a large crack (poorly fixed) in the bathroom sink. I stay at Marriott hotels often, and this was the worst experience ever. I felt like I was staying at cheap $30-$40 motel then some of these issues may have been expected. This room shouldn’t be given to anyone. I don’t understand with the amount of $$ they charge why aren’t these items being replaced rather than patching them up, or just leaving them there hoping they will go unnoticed. I will not stay here again.

We were very pleased with the friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel was very clean and met our needs. It was nice to have an indoor pool to swim in after being in the car all day. They had complimentary snacks in the lobby. The bistro provided a great option for breakfast that was more filling and nutritious than a continental breakfast at most hotels. We were able to get vouchers for the breakfast included in our room rate.

The Courtyard Lafayette Airport is a great place to stay when traveling and working in the Lafayette area.I have stayed here numerous times and the place has been consistently clean with good food and service.It has a very good upgraded fitness area with free weights and a cable machine. And did I mention it has a large indoor pool.

Having been on staff in several hotels in the past, I would rate this hotel excellent. I used a handicap room, all I needed was there. .Experienced food and beverage. Maybe a little too much food for breakfast..could be a little less and reduce the price.The staff, along with the maids and other helpers were outstanding. They are running a good hotel there.

I read some negative reviews right after i booked room. From my experience, the Hotel was in a nice area, close to everything, & close to downtown.The hotel was neat an clean inside and out. The rooms were updated beautifully, plushy pretty carpet, bed was sooo comfortable, indoor pool room was nice. I was impressed. Will book again.

The room was clean with a spacious yet functional setup. King bed, seating for to and not as cramped as some hotel rooms. We were a last minute reservation from out of town and this was the best one we could find on Expedia.

The housekeepers were great with giving directions and restaurants to enjoy as well as keeping the room spotless, including the bathroom. The price was nothing when compared to the service we received. The residents of Lafayette were gracious as well! We will be back!!

This hotel made our 9-day trip to Louisiana much easier to be away from home! Conveniently located about 6 minutes from the main airport and a close drive to many good reataurants and shopping, this property was a refreshing joy to stay at. Everything from their clean, freshly renovated lobby, rooms, exercise areas, indoor pool and hot tub, to all of their courteous and professional staff, everything was truly great, and everyone went the extra mile to ensure our family was happy and comfortable during our entire stay! We would definitely recommend this property for business or pleasure stays.

The location made for a quiet night, which is rare for a hotel. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were personable and kind. We reserved a two bed room to save a little money. However, upon check-in we were given a free upgrade (king bed/balcony). If we need a room in Lafayette again, this will be where we stay.

All the people that worked there was great. The room I was first in the A.C. was at 61 and it felt like 81. A lot of construction and remodeling going on. Once I changed rooms it was much better. Everyone was helpful and friendly

The Marriott hotel chain is my preferred hotel when I am traveling. I normally have a pretty good experience with each visit. However this one was not the normal experience. The rooms were musty as if they needed to be aired out. We switched rooms and the second room still had that same musty smell. Now this is purely a preference item, the room decor was outdated. Also, the beds were not as comfortable as the beds at all of the other Marriott properties that I have stayed. On a good note, the staff was friendly and pleasant and the lobby area appeared to be updated. We used points to pay for the room so the value was great. It allowed for a safe and quiet sleeping environment while traveling.

Room was nice and clean, employees are very friendly. Convenient location. Check-in was simple and quick. My problems were that breakfast was not complimentary and my room was rather noisy as it was right next to the elevator. I would stay here again.

I was traveling alone with my 4 month old son and had actually booked a room at another hotel but decided not to stay there after seeing the room. The front desk staff made signing in with a screaming baby as easy as possible and did not seemed bother by his fussing. I can not tell you how happy I am that we switched to this hotel. The room was immaculately clean and well organized. All furniture was extremely comfortable and the TV adjusted to face the bed or the sofa. The pool area was clean, well maintained, and provided plenty of extra towels. Overall my experience was extremely relaxing and stress free especially considering I was traveling alone with a baby.

Hotel was clean, stylish, modern up-to-date furniture & furnishings, staff was friendly but not on point with accommodating guest personal request. I recommend if u request a room w/certain amenities that you check for yourself & verify that the amenities requested are accessible or available to you during your stay. I personally requested a room with a balcony and was placed in a room w/a balcony door nailed shut & clear plastic tarp on the balcony floor that was full of water puddles & debris

This hotel was noisy. Hotel was nice enough, but the balcony was not kept up at all, spider webs in the corners and standing water. The room was ncomfy and the bathroom was clean, that I’m very thankful for. The barista at the coffee bar needed a personality or needs to work the evenings. Overall it was an okay stay, but probably wouldnt stay there again.

This was a decent hotel stay with somewhat decent rates. Only dislike was the got-u-over-a-barrell pricing in the pantry.

This seems to be an older hotel that could use some minor updates in the rooms. Balcony area was a let down, not much space, nor was it well landscaped. Rooms small, but worked for what we needed. Pool area was nice. Enjoyed the Starbucks cafe in lobby and lobby staff were friendly. Would probably stay again.

It was OK. No complimentary coffee or breakfast with the stay. Room I stayed in was average. Parking lot is very dark at night and no security that patrols that I noticed. Staff are very friendly (5 star on them), check in and out was very fast. If I were to stay again in Lafayette, I might try my luck at a different place secondary to the lack of comp coffee.

I’ve stayed at many a Marriott but although this is one of their lower star ones it is by far my favorite Marriott yet. I greatly appreciate not only the friendly service but also the nightly kids happy hour. The bed was more comfortable than the other Marriotts and the linens were just as good if not better. But the shower...the best.
