I run my own business so having a place to go where I get trusted and reliable care, along with a break from my hectic day, makes the experience worth every penny. With all the misinformation out there it is a bonus to get tips about health and skin care from someone I trust. I also love that there is never a hard sell when Im at the spa. My Secretary had extensive face blemishes. I gave her a gift of services at the Spa and the results were amazing. First and most obvious was that the blemishes were removed, no longer covered with makeup. Second and perhaps most important was how much better they made my Secretary feel about herself. A few months ago I went to take a photo of myself with my daughter on my cell phone, and was horrified by the wrinkly lady I saw. Could that be me?! I used to live on the East Coast where my skin was so dewy, but since moving to Colorado, my skin has become dry. I guess it aged me. I have had three HydraFacials so far with Jean, and I just went to look in my cell phone to see if I looked different. Guess what? I have suffered from adult acne for the better part of the last 10-15 years. I had come to accept it, but it was something I was sensitive about. As an anniversary gift - from my very generous boss - I received some treatments from Jean. In our first appointment, she asked what my fantasy was for my face. I told her that I wanted to be able to touch my cheeks and they be smooth, I didnt dare say that I fantasize that I might look like I never had acne, because that was too unrealistic a request - and I hate to be let down. And so we began with several Hydrafacials to clear up the deep congestion my face was experiencing. I was very happy with the reduction in congestion, but it revealed deep pocks and raised scarring on my face that I hadnt been able to notice before. Then we began the Dermapen treatments. Immediately, I noticed the scars were flattening and the pocks were filling in. My new thrill was waking up in the morning to see how much my skin had improved from the week before. My cheeks were becoming smooth!! Lots of people in my life were commenting on the results of the treatments. It made me feel very good that other people were happy for me too, it must have shown in my expression and smile. The best part was meeting new people that hadnt known the extent of my acne scarring and if I happened to mention that I was undergoing acne scar treatments, they would be dumbfounded - why? I was asked, you have such beautiful skin! HA!!! let me tell you, that will never get old - never in a million years! When Jean sent me the before and after photos, I must admit, I cried. I think I looked at myself with blinders before, I didnt even realized how awful my skin looked, I think it was too painful to look at directly. Now I have a confidence that extends much further than I have ever known. I didnt even know how much my acne was affecting me until I no longer had to see it. It is a wonderful and liberating feeling. Thank you, Jean, I will never be able to express what you have done for me, not fully.
