I am so disappointed at the rates that they offer... way too expensive... $45 for 1 hour of tutoring... how is this affordable to any parent out here.

One on one sessions were very helpful. And the professor that assisted my son was so knowledgeable.

Sylvan staff and teachers are very passionate and comforting to the students and my daughter has grown so much and is very encouraged about learning despite struggling with dyslexia. The Sylvan team in Lafayette has really helped her improve on all skill levels and if not for their help she would not have been able to keep up in her current grade. God Bless you Sylvan team and I would highly recommend you to everyone.

They helped my son catch up to we’re he needed to be. He is so proud he wants me to “watch” him do his homework.

My daughter struggle so much her 1st grade year. She was behind several reading levels and had little to no confidence. We worked with Sylvan over this past summer and they helped my daughter learn so many skills that she was unfortunately missing. Without the skills they taught her, she would have just kept struggling. I am so thankful for the support they gave to both my daughter and myself and we are ready to take on this new school year with a whole new attitude and level of confidence built on the strong foundation they made. My son was diagnosed with dyslexia last year and had difficulty with reading at grade level. Since attending Sylvan of Acadiana, my son’s confidence in reading and comprehension has improved. We began seeing the “pieces” to reading come together for him quickly. We can’t wait to continue seeing his growth.

We placed my daughter in sylvan a couple months ago, she has been doing the one on one tutoring and also did 4 of their STEM Saturdays. Weve already seen so much improvement in her school work and she loves going!

The curriculum is customized to meet your child’s specific needs. I have seen improvement in my daughters reading abilities and in her confidence.

We love Sylvan my child loves the teachers. The token system is a fun way for the kids to do their best. We love watching our child improve

We started with Sylvan Aug. 29th, and have seen much improvement all around. Homework with less tears and better grades. My son enjoys learning with Sylvan! Great learning/tutoring experience and awesome camps!!

Both of my children attended Sylvan in Lafayette this summer. My daughter is going to 8th. I wanted her to be ready for Algebra I next year. Sylvan tested her to see what skills she needed to work on before setting her up with tutoring. The teachers were great and the staff was friendly and easy to work with. My son is going to the 4th grade. We tested him in reading and math. Ms. Tracy recommended a reading program and a math Edge program. He enjoyed going to Sylvan and is actually excited about starting school this year. I am very happy with my experience at Sylvan and would highly recommend the Lafayette center!

Nic thinks Sylvan makes learning fun. We feel that Sylvan has given him the tools to become a better more confident reader.
