This is a great church. Went to the 9am service. Big parking lot, had no issue finding a parking space even arriving just several minutes before service started. There are ushers around to help guide you. There is coffee available. Worship music and sermon was great! Everyone was very friendly as well!

We have been going to Flatirons since 2015 and have loved it. All of it. The worship. The teaching. The leadership. 💯You will find truth and trace right here, but most importantly, TRUTH. Jim speaks to the men of the congregation a lot, which is really great. We all get something out of it, but if the men take away what Jim is teaching, we will all be better for it. 🙏🙏🙏 So good.

Its a layed back environment even Pastor Jim wears jeans. Hes hilarious and adds comedy into his sermons. You dont have to worry about being judged for your tattoos, etc. This church welcomes anyone and everyone!

Its an awesome church that goes above and beyond in order to serve God and his people. Great messages that are definitely coming from a non-denominational point of view and go really deep to help one transform from the deepest level - the heart. I came to this church at my worst of times. They didnt judge me, my walk, or turn me away. They scooped me up and said I got you. Gods got you. which was the MOST reassuring thing I could have experienced at such a dark time in my life experiencing so much strife.Humbling yourself at the feet of Christ and asking Him to guide you each step of the way, hearing the messages and good work done at Flatirons, I am happy to call them my church home.If youre experiencing hopelessness send them an email, and watch them huddle around you (not literally) to pick you up.

Theres not a time that the message hasnt delivered on many levels for many different peoples, this Christmas Eve service was no exception. The only important point that I would have added to it was this; When Jesus went into the temple with the whip that he fashioned he ran the satanists out of that Temple because they were slaughtering innocent animals as part of their hedonistic rituals, not so much about those taxing the less fortunate but much more about taxing innocent life from this Earth. An important lesson to understand. All of those Passover Lambs the sacrificial Lambs born and bred in Bethlehem.

This church does not care at all about the greater community. From the way it has long affected Lafayette residents through its massive attendance on weekends and lack of contribution to local taxes to its current approach on the COVID-19 outbreak - not requiring masks at its services and essentially denying the fact that there is a pandemic and they are contributing to an increase in community spread. When they reopened the main pastor said they would be under a magnifying glass for their behavior and yet somehow they proceeded to ignore that statement and act recklessly for no reason other than masks arent manly hurrr.I am sure theyre repenting for their sins and expecting a clean slate with Jesus but they do not act like true Christians, just another tithe-hungry church with 0 consideration for the impact of their actions.

Really excellent production quality. In terms of modern music, coupled with high-budget lighting, atmosphere, and facility, its one of the best anywhere in the world, no exaggeration. For a casual attendee, its a very welcoming place that accepts you as you are. Once you take the next step, though, and try to volunteer on a team or connect with a group, it becomes apparent that there are hidden expectations that can lead to conflicts. As a parent of four kids, two of whom are LGBTQ+, this is not an accepting (let alone affirming) church. Theyre good at giving the right first impression, but once you dig below the surface, a lot of old-school, American-evangelical ideology is still at the foundation of what this church is about. A few high-dollar donors have a lot of influence here. Staff turnover is high, and while I never worked here, I befriended several people who worked there. When the church decides they are done with you, youre immediately dismissed and ghosted by all your former coworkers. No one will ever even say your name for fear of being next on the chopping block. Its not a bad church, really. Its just that, for all its good points, its ultimately a massive, religious corporate engine, and can operate with all the ruthlessness of its non-religious counterparts.

This is a Church meets extremely professional musical production and visual arts show with 5000 people in attendance; think concert venue experience.Ive now been 5 times. The messages are always relatable and they are based on Bible verses. You can decide how Bible based you feel it is for yourself. But know, you will certainly have an experience that elicits emotions from smiles to tears to questions about your thinking, faith walk, and therefore, your life. It is very non traditional and approachable and why it is also so popular. Be sure to go to the Information Desk for any questions or to locate groups you can potentially get involved with. And, dont bother with Starbucks beforehand as they have you covered there.Enjoy

Great church, with some really talented performers. The only thing I would say they could improve on is that they tend to rely too much on personal opinion rather than the word itself. When I started going to flatirons, I made every excuse not to like it - it was too big, the music was too loud, the traffic was too bad, the pastor talked too fast - but Im still here 6 years later so I guess the place grew on me.They do a great job of making a big church feel small between volunteering and small groups, there are a ton of ways to get to know people. The music is incredible, its like a concert every weekend. We get there 10-15 minutes early to avoid traffic and give us time to get coffee and bagels. The best part of this church is the sermons. Both Jim and Ben keep the message focused on Biblical truths and they dont water it down to keep the truth from hurting. This staff does such an incredible job of accepting anyone who comes through their doors while also sticking to their values regardless of whats popular or politically correct.I feel so welcomed and seen here and I plan to continue attending for the rest of our lives. This church has become a home and a blessing for me and my family. If youre on the fence, give it a month to decide, itll probably grow on you too.Update 2020: Since Jim returned from his 6 month sabbatical, Flatirons has felt different. Theres been some situations that I personally dont feel were handled well and its made me question how transparent the leadership really is with their members when it comes to volunteers and staff. Weve gone here for almost 8 years now and weve decided to start looking at other churches. I still think Flatirons is a good place to learn about God, but I think weve seen too much of the behind the scenes to enjoy the services knowing that theres a lot going on that isnt address in weekly messages. If youre new to Christianity or new to Colorado, give them a visit - but until some major leadership changes are made, you might find a better church home elsewhere.

This church is our home away from home. They are welcoming, honest, genuine, and stand firm on the Word of God in their teachings. The music rocks!! They have ear plugs in the back if you find it too loud. Come here if you want to know who Jesus is and be welcomed by a group of believers who understand their lives are messy, too. Their motto is Me too for that very reason. You want to know more about Jesus? Me too. Lets dig in the Word (and not just our version of it). You want to lay your burdens down and find peace? Me too. Your life is messy, and you make mistakes? Me too. You want to know how to pick your life back up again and stop making the same mistakes over and over again? Or how to be a better spouse/parent/friend? Me too! Come to a service. You wont regret it. Im a teacher and approve of their program for children, too! Mine will be going here!

So thank you to all of those that lead us in singing.Thank you to pastor Jim and Ben! I always appreciate your messages and how God is using you as a tool to speak to us. Every Sunday I feel like the message was written for my ears. Thank you both for always being so open and honest with us. Pastor Ben, you had me crying a couple weeks ago when you were talking about your own faith and struggles. I cried because I have never heard two pastors be so open and raw about their walk with God. I wasnt a church-goer before my girlfriend and I started going to this church. This church is amazing, the songs seem like a live concert and the whole feel is so modern and up to the times. Everyone that goes here is friendly and nice and everyone practices what this church teaches which is acceptance and love and treating others like Jesus would have. They have a program on Friday nights called SHIFT which I used to go to for an extra day of sermons and worship but more recently the speaker Lisa who talks for a majority of the time has lost my interest as I feel the conversations and teachings apply more to her personal life and things SHE finds important not things that everyone wants to hear about. She comes off a bit preachy for me. (Update since last time, I just attended again this last week and Lisas speech really hit home this time. Also the Asian Pulled Pork special was so delicious!! Her speech was very lovely and meaningful and in fact I was sad to have to leave early for work and tried to stay as long as I could but had to leave with about 5 minutes left so luckily I got most of it. Sometimes she amazes, it is just very hit or miss for me personally, but Im glad I gave it another chance and Ill be back to try again this next Friday.) There is another male speaker that I would love to hear from more often as Lisa relates to women more so then men sometimes so hearing from a mans perspective would be a nice change of pace since he hasnt spoken much recently. Anyways, the first part of the night you really dont want to miss, before worship is a family-style BBQ which is always good food with one special that changes weekly and Ive heard the chef is also the head chef at the Pepsi Stadium. Church on Sundays is ALWAYS a good time and the teachings of that week almost ALWAYS seem to hit home with the entire audience and see it even feels like Pastor Jim is talking directly to me about my life and my own situations. We absolutely LOVE this church and the people here!! This church just feels safe and comfortable, and I can honestly say to anyone else who loves this place, ME TOO!!

This church is an okay starter church for the new believer. However, it seems like there is not a lot of opportunity for growth or getting meat in a message. I used to really enjoy coming here, prior to COVID, but I don’t think I will return when they open back up. It’s wonderful that they want to welcome everyone where they are. However, I do not believe that playing secular music during a worship service. The focus should be on God, and instead, it feels like a rock concert (and it is loud but they provide ear plugs). While I appreciate how it helped me out of Mormonism, I do not recommend this church to someone who wants to be challenged in their faith. It is a big environment so getting to know people is difficult, that’s one thing. But it also seems to want to conform to the world and side step difficult issues. I think it would be a good starter church for someone who is new to the faith, but I recommend if you want to be challenged and grow in your faith, go somewhere else. Yes, there are good sermons but they seem watered down and focus more on personal experience rather than the Bible.
