I have used Abstract several times now for different towers and the staff is always super friendly, professional, and they have a reasonable turn around time (2-5 business days) but for me, it has always been closer to 2 days. I will keep going back!

I stopped into Abstract without an appointment to get some guidance on setting up a computer docking station at home and was greeted right away. I wish I could remember the technician that helped, but he was very knowledgeable and took the time to hook everything up to show me a demo of what to do. I came home and replicated what he did and everything works great! I would highly recommend this business for any type of computer service and or repair!

They were super friendly and nice I have a 3 in one where the touch screen does not work anymore and my laptop the charger got broke off in it they were able to get the piece out of lab top and was able to help with the orgin problem on 3in one but was unable to fix touch screen Im grateful for what they were able to do not really a place to take something you need fix physically but hardware wise this is the place

I had taken them my laptop today because my computer wasnt working properly and I desperately needed the research off it to finish up my masters degree. They were very friendly and within a couple of hours had determined that my hard drive had failed but they were able to get everything off my hard drive. They didnt pressure me to pay them to fix the laptop once I told them I was just going to buy a new pc. They even helped me figure out which laptop was the best for my needs and in my price range. My first interaction with Abstract was during a project with a mutual client. The two IT staff members I corresponded with were timely in their responses and provided quality service. Since Abstract is so dependable I referred them to a couple other local business owners who gave me positive feedback concerning their work.

I have brought two different Macs here for various reasons. Each time I am always surprised by their service. In knowledge,speed, and reliability. Every time I brought a computer in it always came back to me thoroughly cleaned! That always makes me very happy. There has also been a time I came in for what I thought was a hardware issue and Abstract determined there is no hardware problem but finds out why the issue was happening. Aaand they didnt charge me for anything because they didnt actually fix anything. Actions like that really impress me. I feel it shows they care about their service and reputation! I will always come back.

We, Homecare By Design, have had Abstract for 7 or 8 years and honestly have never had a bad experience! That is a very long time to evaluate the quality of a company, its services and most importantly their Integrity. We have moved or merged our company twice with Abstract and it was a huge undertaking that could have had many pitfalls. We had zero! The Abstract team handled it starting months before the move, were on site during the day of the move as being a service industry serving the elderly, we could not go without our system even for a short time. It was perfectly seamless. They never missed a beat! As our business has grown and grown more over the years Abstract has always kept up and I never fear outgrowing them because they really stay on top of their game! Had a CD stuck in my computer. Got me in that day, I dropped it off, came back an hour later and it was fixed! A lot cheaper than the big chain stores would have charged me. They seem to have a great deal of services they provide as well, so I will certainly be back!

Abstract Technology group rocks! They were able to help with my Dads iPhone when no one else could; they are the only Apple authorized dealer in our area, and they are supremely helpful and knowledgeable. On the PC side, they have also been on top of things.

I took my laptop to Abstract for an upgrade to the latest Windows after a few attempts to do it myself didnt pan out. They quickly diagnosed the laptop and took their time with it. Turns out it came down to a piece of out dated software that was proprietary to the manufacturer and couldnt be updated. It was a bummer but I have to hand it to Abstract for staying on it and giving it their time. I recommend Abstract for you PC needs, they are professionals.

I brought in my Macbook Pro because it was acting up. The guys researched my serial number and found that it was still under warranty. They had it fixed in a few days at ZERO cost and effort to me. Their customer service was only overshadowed by the end product. Thanks to Bryant for knocking this out. Class Act!

Took laptop in for an estimate of cost. they did warn me that the estimate itself was $100 and $50 if I ended up using them to repair it. well turns out if they think the computer is to dead to fix, it is guess what? the higher price! i guess its my fault for not clarifying that point

My experience with this outfit was very negative. My Mac Pro began making a high-pitched squealing noise last August 2012. I was initially pleased to find that an authorized Mac repair service is located right here in Lafayette and I took the computer to them anticipating a good repair. After a week, they told me that there was nothing wrong with the computer (to their credit, they did not charge me for this). But the squeal came back. At the end of October I took it back to them. Again, after a week of testing they claimed there was nothing wrong. Thinking that the main muffin fan was going bad, I had them replace it, and all the other fans (for which I did pay their fee). A week later the squeal was back. It turned out that it was one of the hard drives, which I determined myself and replaced without their help. The squeal was now gone, but the computer ran very, very slow. I finally discovered that the slow response was because a program called FAH4 was absorbing 87% of the CPU time. More time and investigation later, it turns out that this program was installed by their techs while my computer was in their shop (installed on Oct. 31, when their own repair ticket indicates it was in their hands) to exercise the CPU, but never removed. Even worse, it was a hacked version of FAH4 that lacked the uninstall option of the legitimate program and proved very difficult to remove (I *think* I got it all off, finally). On contacting the manager, I received profuse apologies, but I will not be using this shop again, although it means a trip of 1 1/2 hours to the Indianapolis Mac repair shop there.
