Been an Accredited business with them for going on 16 yrs. now and absolutely love it! Definitely one of the better investments I have made for my company. The staff is great and they do a very thorough job which takes a lot of time an energy. I truly feel they love what they do and that makes all the difference in the world!

Business owners beware! Do not use BBB! Ive been a long-time customer of better business bureau accredited program. Paying a heavy price to have the privilege of being accredited. As part of being accredited I had the use of better business bureau accredited logo to use on my business products. Recently I decided that the cost of the program was not affordable for my business being that BBB is no longer used by most consumers.Since then Ive been threatened and harassed by BBB to be sued and to have my website taken down because of copyright laws. I used the logo while a customer having paid for the right to do so. Do not fall into the trap of using BBB logo. Trust me it adds no value to your business and will give them a weapon against you.This has been an ongoing nightmare of fear tactics and harassment.

BBB has enhanced our business. I use it personally to find reputable businesses. It takes the guess work out of legitimate businesses.

I HAVE BEEN OFFERED OVER THE YEARS THE AAA+++ RATING SEVERAL TIMES, I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS IN LAFAYETTE SINCE 1984, AND HAVE NEVER HAD A BBB COMPLAINT LODGED AGAINST OUR PLUMBING BUSINESS. BUT THE CATCH IS,.......... MONEY.PAY FOR YOUR ACCREDITATION. I DONT USE THE BBB WHEN IM RESEARCHING TO BUY SO WHY WOULD I THINK SOMEONE ELSE WOULD. IM NOT EXPENSIVE ENOUGH TO COVER WASTED ADVERTISING. REALLY, THAT IS ALL THE BBB IS, IF YOU PAY FOR IT THEY WILL SAY YOUR GGGRRREEEAAAAAAAATTTTTT!

I have had an accredited business with the BBB for 18 years, and they have been wonderful in promoting fair and honest business practices in the acadiana area. Sharane and her staff have worked tirelessly to inform the public of scams and unscrupulous businesses. I am glad that I am part of their organization.

I received a text the other day supposedly from Chase Bank telling me I needed to update my security profile. I went to the bank later to confirm what I already suspected. the text was not valid. whatever info they wanted did not happen. the worst thing to do is acknowledge the message because theres no telling what info they want from you.

Went to Thomas Supply, Inc. on Luke Street in Lafayette to switch back to a previous filter I had been buying from them. I described the filter that I wanted and he told me they were no longer made. I did not have a receipt and he wanted to see my drivers license and I said no and he did not at first want to give to me my money back. He slammed my filters behind the counter that still belonged to me. I told him he did not have to be rude and then the went on to lecture me if I knew what a Merv 8 filter was and lectured me that I had brought my dog in. There was no problem when I entered his business with my dog. He started lecturing me that I did not ask him if I could bring in my dog that some may be allergic. Really they have filters in that building and I was not about to leave my dog in the heat. He went on about the fact I should have left the car running and that is what he does and so forth. I dont leave my dog in the car due to Animal Control. I am a woman and he was talking down to me and I did not appreciate that. After I told Mr. Stelly that I am done talking to please give me my money back and I will be on my way. He did after this discussion and he would not even put the money in my hand. That is rude. So he put it in my hand and then said I will open the door for you and bring you to your car. I first I agreed then said I can do that myself. He made it a point when I we got into this discussion that he was the owner. Could have cared less. Told him I will be writing a review with the BBB and he told me to be sure after all this he gave me my money back. Went to another supply store and I told them what happened and they told me yes they are rude there. I asked them about the drivers license and the product and they said No we dont ask for that and the product is still made. I see why the other business always has more business in their parking lot but Thomas Supply is a little closer. I will make the extra distant and I will get my product in a few days since they were on order. Waiting on Mr. Stelly to please respond so u can see his review. It was very quiet and there were two customers in the store. He did finally fill out a receipt and I did sign my business name and he didnt want to give me my money back because so I did sign it and asked me if that was my real name. I never treat my customers like that and did not believe that was my business. He would never talk to a man like that. Ok Mr. Stelly ur turn?

A customer complaint was dealt with and explained to the BBB. The end result was the customer was satisfied with the resolution. We still get a bad rating for a satisfied resolution. The BBB uses their system to extort money from businesses.

They did absolutely NOTHING to help solve an issue with a business! NOTHING!!!!!! Awful!

After spending over $23,000 on a botched job on our classic 1935 car at a business with an A rating, we contacted the BBB for help. After many rounds of correspondence with the business and phone calls to the BBB, the collision business was given an F rating by the BBB! Big deal!!!We got no restitution and the complaint was never resolved! He was punished with an F rating and we were told that was bad for a business! OOOOOO All the BBB did was waste our time!We had to incur further expense to have the botched job repaired by a reputable business who also had an A rating! This was really an A+ place!Now 2 years later, we noticed that the botched repair place now has a C+! We were told by the BBB that because time had gone by his score went up. (So if a pedophile molests your child, 2 years after the fact all is forgiven an he is not listed as a sex offender?????) The establishment in question went from an A to a F and now at a C+.The BBB DOES NOT PROTECT THE PUBLIC. THEY ARE POWERLESS IN HELPING. THEY ONLY SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT SCAMS THAT THEY GET INFO ABOUT FROM THEIR NATIIONAL OFFICE. BEWARE AREA PEOPLE! THE ACREDITED BUSINESSES MAY NOT BE ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS!

Caution to anyone in the Lafayette, LA area. If Dr. Curtis Roy and associates is your dentist, consider a second opinion for their treatment plan. I am paying $6500 on dental work for my frail 79 year old mother that will NEVER be done, thanks to CARE credit. The impressions were the shady part...as frail as she was, with her cardiac history, they still recommended impressions for a partial upper bridge and full set of dentures for lower. I asked them not to proceed until after her cardiologist appt 3 days later. When her cardiologist said NO!, I called them that same day..I was willing to pay for the dental appt, X-rays,and the materials used to make impressions. They called me 3 weeks later to say the bridge and dentures were ready. Two weeks later, I received a bill for almost $11,000 from care credit! Called Care Credit, and only the dentists offfice can get my Care credit cancelled.Dentists was willing to credit my account only for the extractions and actual placement of bridges! So now my bill is just $7000(interest is already accruing!)
