Love coming to R&R Barber and salon. They are very welcoming, clean, professional, do an amazing job and always a great conversation when getting my cut. I always get the Royal Treatment and it’s very well worth it. Very nice clean cut, great line up, and beard trim. Highly recommend trying them out.

First time visiting the location and we saw Robin. It was my sons birthday, and we were treating him for a nice haircut. My son showed Robin a picture and clearly communicated what he wanted. Robin was nearly silent the entire time. He declared himself finished and when we told him it was not what we wanted and was still too long, he got extremely angry and hostile. He said he is going through a difficult time and found our remarks Trivial and we should stick to Supercuts. He then took his scissors and hacked 3 inches off my sons hair, which is exactly what we told him we did not want. He threw his scissors against the wall, scoffed off, and said he would not charge us. My son (who is 15) was in tears. It was literally the worst experience I have ever had in a salon. I offered to pay and to correct the cut and he refused. I would strongly recommend no one go here- I never will. My son is so devastated and we both were shocked at how cruelly we were treated. We both felt he hacked his hair as revenge for us not being satisfied as it was so hostile the way he grabbed his hair and cut it. I get having a bad day, but why not have cancelled our appointment?

I always wait a few days after getting my haircut to post a review if I’m gonna leave one and I really like my cut here. I used to go a cheaper barber shop for my cut but they keep messing it up. Robin listened to me and what I wanted and executed it perfect to my liking. I need symmetry and I got it. The place was really clean too and that’s important to me with everything going on right now. I think I’ll definitely come back again.

RnR barbers is an amazing place to get your hair done. Roya cut and colored my hair and she did a phenomenal job!! I do not trust anyone else to do my hair, and I have very thin delicate hair. She knows how to take care of my hair! She is the best hair stylist out there, GO TO HER!!!

Growing my hair out for the first time in ten years during Covid. Came here after hearing great things from a few friends. Got my hair cut by Robin and he did an awesome job. Its hard to find people that can cut my hair and did it like a pro! My haircut took about 30-45 mins because he took his time to make sure everything was perfect. Will be going back again as long as I keep growing my hair.

Robin and his wife are a great addition to Lafayette, if you need your hair cut this is the place to be

I agree that the salon itself is stylish but quality of the cut I received was unacceptable under any standards. I asked for a low maintenance cut that wouldn’t require a lot of “product”. Robin assured me that everything he did had a “light touch, with minimal effort”. When I left, my hair was as hard as cement and I looked like I was going to an audition for “A Flock of Seagulls”. Additionally, once I rinsed it, I saw that rather than using thinning sheets, he’d simply cut swathes of it at different lengths. I truly cannot understand why people rate this place highly.

I’ve had several barber in my life time and I am very particular when it come to my haircuts. I’ve live in The Midwest and the south and I must say that Robin at R n R has been the best and most consistent barber I’ve ever had cut my hair. He knows his stuff! No matter your hair texture! He’s worth the travel if your coming from a distance!

I had a really unfortunate experience at R&R Barbershop and Salon in Lafayette today with ROBIN. He appeared to be UNFRIENDLY and CONDESCENDING towards other employees and me as a customer.My hairstylist, Maryam was very professional, friendly, and courteous towards me and other customers when ROBIN Told her that she has put the chairs too close together for customers and she should ask him when she wants to do something like that again. I found that ironic since ROBIN was wearing a mask that was too small for his face and his nose was out of the mask; yet he was claiming that he was worried about safety and prevention of COVID-19.First of all, maryam created enough space between chairs for us as customers to feel safe and each chair was in a way that we were facing away from each other.Second, the other customer and I were wearing masks properly, unlike him. When my hairstylist, Maryam went inside to get some supplies I asked ROBIN for his name and told him that his behavior toward Maryam was very unprofessional.ROBIN looked me in the eye and said “this is my workplace and I will do whatever needed to make sure everyone is safe.” And that what I said was just my opinion. Again, I find ROBIN’s statement hypocritical, since he had not even checked to make sure his mask is on properly, and he was talking to me in an unfriendly way.I would not recommend ROBIN to anyone since he is unfriendly, bossy, Unprofessional, and disrespectful.

I went to this barbershop recently since they reopened after the COVID quarantine. It was my second time here and I had a bad experience. They were running late and I left over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Once I got home and washed away all the product they tried to sell me, I noticed the entire back of my head was barely cut and is very long (unnoticeable with all the product that was there the moment I left). My barber was also not wearing their mask appropriately, only covering the mouth but not the nose. I will not be returning.

Stumbled upon this place recently. So happy to have them in Lafayette! One of the best haircuts and beard trims I’ve had in years...plus super friendly owners, and a great overall attention to detail and quality. They even make their own hair, beard, and shaving lotions/oils/creams! Asked if I could buy some, guess it was sold out temporarily due to such high demand, which is probably a good sign! Will definitely be a return customer, this is a barber shop where they really care about their craft and relationship with their customers/community

Ive found at some of the local chains there are a lot of inexperienced stylist so you never really know what youre going to get. Not so at RnR. The RnR team are seasoned barbers. The experience here was comfortable, professional, and authentic compared to anything else Ive found close to town. Great conversation and a great haircut. This is also owned and operated by a local family. Love to support small business when I can.

Ive been to a lot of places to get a haircut in the east bay and this is the best Ive found so far. Robin is a super chill, super skilled barber and you can tell he really cares about what youre gonna look like when you walk out the door.
