Knowledgeable manager who was able to diagnose and fix a steering/pulling issue without having to actually do an alignment. Also did oil change. Relatively quick for the amount of evaluation done. Professional and explained things well. I would go back to this business.

I had a ridiculous experience here. I asked repeatedly for an official/printed estimate and was told by the representative that she “didn’t have anything to print.” I had to beg her several times to write down on a piece of notebook paper what the tech believed was wrong. Even still, she was missing repairs that the technician had mentioned. I had to remind her what was said more than once. Any mechanic shop will give you an official written estimate. That’s ridiculous. In addition, I brought my vehicle to three other shops who not only provided written estimates, but diagnosed the problem correctly. Chabill’s was going to over charge me by $1500+. I am not sure if this is incompetence, the fact that they assumed I didn’t know what I was talking about, or what, but they have some real work to do. I wanted to bring my car here, I wanted to like them, but I was treated so poorly that I can’t recommend this shop to anyone.

Went in for a screw in my tire. They were friendly and quickly changed the tire as it could not be patched. I felt they gave me a fair price and were very professional.

Pleasant and professional. It took a little longer than expected but we added an alignment.

I bought a new set of tires here a last year. While my vehicle was in their shop, they called and told me that my brake pads were worn down and needed changing. We can save the rotors if we change the pads now is the exact words he used. The quoted price seemed high, and I usually change brake pads myself, so I ordered some pads. When I got around to changing them, I noticed that my pads had well over 50% life left. I checked all four wheels because I did not want to believe that Chabills blatantly lied to me. This is an unethical business practice, and I can no longer trust this place.

The young guy working the front desk was super helpful and extremely professional. When I need new tires, this is where I’m coming back to.

It was over $300 for a battery and to have it changed. I thought that was very expensive. The battery was from NAPA. The markup was crazy! The labor was $60 for 15 minutes of work. Really disappointed. 3 starts only because they were able to fix it right away.

Promptly ordered rim and tires for my Granddaughter, called and made appointment when they received them and had everything done within an hour. Very good customer service. Highly recommend!

We have an old model Toyota that was having unknown engine problems and Chabill’s was rated very well so we had the vehicle towed there. They were fabulous! They quickly diagnosed the problem, performed the needed work and kept us informed of the status throughout. We were very pleased with their work and their reasonable and fair prices! We would definitely recommend Chabill’s to family and friends and we will also use them again should the need arise.

This was my first time going there. The staff and service members were very professional and courteous. The place was clean and it is handicapped accessible with handicap parking. You can see it from the main road. They were busy but take walk-ins. Its better to make an appointment but they were able to fit me in. I was very satisfied and plan to use them again.

I am from out of town, displaced by hurricane laura. I am also an RVer. I had a problem with my truck tires and decided to get new ones. I googled tire places and picked Chabills on Verot School road. I was not disappointed. Jody, Rebecca, and Cowboy took care of my needs like I was family. I needed great tires and great service. That is what I got and more from Chabills. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Awesome place. I used to go allaid, but when tire choice bout them out the service plumited. They broke a trim piece of my car, and them pretended it just fell off in its own. And accused me of being in an accident.... Anyway chabills had been wonderful. Honest, and fast.

Clem the mechanic did an excellent job fixing my AC and was able to do it at a fraction of the cost another shop quoted me at (he’s an awesome Marine veteran btw). The entire staff was friendly and helpful like my first visit. I will continue to take my vehicle here for any future repairs.

I had no appointment and they made time for my vehicle inspection. They did a courtesy check so the inspection was free. They were honest and told me that the work that needed to be done wasnt urgent. Very professional. This was my first time with Chabills.

Replace rear tires service with timely expedient and professional

My husband had my tire changed after it went flat. I noticed that they did not clear out my tire pressure light so obviously they did not fill all the tires which I paid extra for. And they didn’t put the donut back where it belongs, they just put it in the back. I don’t know if that’s standard service or just a courtesy but this is the only place I’ve ever been to that didn’t put it back. Otherwise than that, they were friendly and got me in for same day service. There was a wait but it was a Saturday so it was to be expected.

The employees are the best! Always friendly. I have been to them quite a few times,no complaints. This is where Ill go for service.

Excellent service in this store. I had talked to several stores in Lafayette. The store manager (Jody) confidently told me that he could get the tires in 2-3 hours and mount them in 1 hour. All was done as promised. Good place and the price was right.

Made appointment with year make and model of my car for tires and alignment. When I get there tires are mounted and at check out Im told we cannot do your alignment.I may be a woman but I know the alignment must be done or it is pointless to mount new tires. Not professional cannot believe a professional shop would not tell a customer that they cannot do the alignment that we mounted your tires anyway and fully knowing in a few days they would me worn.Not professional....Not at all. Bet this would never happen to a man.
