Great customer service, patient knowledgeable staff, plenty of parking, clean nice modern waiting area & bathroom. The building is tucked away from main intersection so it is relatively quiet under the shade trees outside. Close to restaurants and shops. Good rates and equal opportunity employer.
I stopped in to get air for my work truck tires, and had a delightful experience. Between the truck and trailer, I have 8 tires, no small task. They allowed me to block their bays, and sent someone out to help me fill them. I regret I don’t recall his name to give him the proper recognition. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
Was able to get in same day. Took about an hour. Friendly staff. Great location. 👍
Excellent overall experience. Replaced 2 front sway bar links on my MB in one hour (wow!) while I waited and charged a very reasonable price (compared to three other auto repair facilities quotes). Friendly, informative staff. Very pleased. Would return when/if required.
Roadmasters takes great care of me and my car! There is always a nice conversation and quality auto care. I cant recommend them enough.
Love this place. Got a good price on 4 tires and very good service. Thank you.
I replaced my tires here last month. I was charged for a warranty on the tires that no one mentioned or talked to me about. They charged my card and just handed me a warranty information brochure. No explanation. I didn’t realize it until I left, so make sure to check all your charges before you leave here. Pretty shady... and go figure one of my tires popped the other day and the warranty doesn’t cover punctures. Not worth it.
These guys are the best. I have gone to them several time since last year and always do a good job and get me back on the road in no time.
Very fast polite service.
Purchased Goodyear tires online and chose Roadmasters for the installation. They were on time and professionally installed. No pressure to purchase other services. Highly recommend!
Ive lived in Lafayette for several years and this was my first visit to Roadmasters. Went in for an intermittent clutch issue that was not easy to diagnose. I had stopped at several local places for estimates and Ed was the only one who actually went outside and took a look at my car, so I decided to give them my business. Again, this problem was not easy to figure out, but they did a great job of keeping in touch with me, letting me know how it was going. Needless to say, but my clutch is now working better than it has for a long time (13 years and 175,00 miles on the odometer). Thank you Ed and David! You now have a new loyal customer who will soon be in for my next oil change!
I always have a great experience with Roadmasters. They do a great job and are always very friendly. I am not saying their rates are higher than anyone else. I feel like all garages and dealerships cost too much. We have to depend on these places therefore have to pay the costs. Roadmasters does not tell you things need to be done if they dont. I feel they are very honest.
10/10. 100% recommend. They actually care about your safety over profitability. They we friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. When I left after picking up my car, I felt safe and like I definitely got my moneys worth. These guys are the real deal!
I brought my Honda to Roadmasters for a brake job. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them to work on your car.
I have so many good things to say about David, Ed and the entire Roadmasters team in Lafayette! My mechanic of 32 years retired and I had to find someone else. These folks have been reliable, fairly priced and a pleasure to work with. Recently, my battery was dead due to being old and not driving much. David came to my house, charged it up and followed me to the shop, where they replaced it in about 15 minutes. The service is terrific and usually comes with a sense of humor, which I appreciate.
Real nice people
The service here is absolutely amazing. Ed went out of his way to cut costs for me, while still ensuring that I could get back on the road safely. He also gave me a breakdown on what my other options would be, even if they didnt benefit his business directly. Overall, an honest and caring business.
Fantastic drove cross country and a simple oil change and maintenance here got me an extra 130 miles a tank and some peace of mind
I went in for a service today (replacing break pads and rotors) that was estimated at $500+. I willingly agreed to do the service, knowing the cost. They called me afterwards and said that the pads werent due to be replaced and still had a lot of life. So they just lubricated the rotors, pads, etc and charged me $59. That says a lot to me about their honesty and integrity. They only did the work that was needed.
These guys have been great; each time Ive gone in they are running on time, are thorough, and then give me a list of what could be done, explaining what really needs to be done and what I could wait on if Im not wanting to do it all at once. That kind of approach makes it very comfortable to go in and maintain my car while helping me understand what costs Ill be incurring in the near future. Really appreciate it!
Quick and professional. Definitely recommended.
I will never come back- rude employee is a big no no.As a business owner myself, I would never treat or allow my employees to speak to a potential customer the way I was spoken to in this business today. I walked in, the place appeared to not be busy as three employees were hanging out at the front desk. The older man asked me what he could do for me, I told him I needed my tires rotated. He sarcastically asked me if I have ever used a phone before so I sarcastically replied no. I did make an appointment and try to brush it off but when I got outside and climbed into my truck I thought about how my customers would feel if I treated them that way. The appointment is now canceled and we will be taking our business elsewhere. I work hard for my money to just give it to someone who acts as if the are the only option in town.
I bought a 2005 Jeep TJ many years ago with the idea of me being the one that fixes it. Ive replaced the radiator, rear drive shaft, shocks, all cv joints, heater core, and added electrical taps. However there have been times that I would come across things that I could not take care of. Like evacuating the freon so that I could replace the heater core on my own and most recently helping free a stubborn bolt on my exhaust that was preventing me from replacing my rear cat.Roadmasters work is quick, clean, and profession.
These guys are the real deal! I am so incredibly pleased with their integrity, service, and support. I had taken my car into the dealer earlier this week to check some things out under warranty, and the dealer indicated I needed $1600 worth of work. I took it to Roadmasters for a second opinion, and they did a full inspection and found I only needed $70 of work. They explained everything to us thoroughly so that we know what to watch out for and how to discern between the car actually needing work versus someone trying to make some money off of us with unnecessary work. I highly highly recommend them and am so thankful to have a trustworthy shop to take all of our cars!
I was in desperate need of an oil change when I stopped in on a busy Saturday (pretty much out of oil). They were too busy to fit me in that day, but filled up my oil and scheduled me for a few days later. It was hugely appreciated as I was needing to drive to Denver and didn’t want to ruin the engine! I had been at a rapid oil change chain and had been waiting for over an hour and decided to go try somewhere new. So glad I did! You have my business now!
Weve been taking our vehicles (new and old) to Roadmasters for more than 15 years and have always had great service and fair prices for major repairs. During my last oil change I mentioned that a seat belt wasnt always retracting properly--Roadmasters researched the issue and found that the part is still within my extended warranty and I could get it fixed for free by the dealer. They didnt have to make those calls on my behalf and there was nothing in it for them other than my goodwill. Its service like this that will keep me coming back.
If you are looking for a place to go in Lafayette this is it. Honest and friendly people who helped me quickly and did not try to pressure me into expensive additional work.
I highly recommend Roadmasters to anyone needing car repairs. I was told exactly what maintenance was needed with my vehicle, as well as recommendations. Very kind, knowledgeable, and trustworthy men working at the shop. Ill definitely be taking my car back for periodic maintenance issues in future.
Great experience!!!! Fixed my problem in the time they said.(faster than any other local mechanic). Price was good and they didnt upsell me either. I found my new mechanic, Thanks guys
Kudos kudos to Roadmasters! I had a completely flat tire at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon and they were blocks away, so I drove to them for repair! Although they did not have time to do the repair, they checked and filled all of my tires and assured me I would be okay to go about a mile up the street! While Melissa (I think that was her name was) was filling my tires, Ed discussed safe driving habits with my 15-year-old and offered for her to come back in when she gets her license to learn how to maintain her car!! Thank you so much Ed and Melissa and thank you Roadmasters for encouraging a positive customer environment!!
Roadmasters is the only mechanic Ive been to since I moved to South Boulder and they are fantastic. They are reliable, quick and thorough. All the inspection reports are well documented (with pictures!) and I get a copy sent to my email. Im moving to the other side of Boulder this summer but will continue to come back to Roadmasters. Its worth the drive!
Outstanding customer service and very respectful personal. I attribute the culture to Steve Soto the manager. I had the opportunity to sit in lobby while waiting for a service. Steves personal care is just not one customer. He exhibits the friendly attitude towards everyone. I only trust one place to bring my cars for service. If you are looking for a trust worthy car service,I highly recommend Roadmasters.
I took my husbands car in for an oil change. Very fast and honest. They checked the car thoroughly and sent me inspection results with pictures. Highly recommend their service.
I would recommend Roadmasters to anyone who needs vehicle repair. They have a very knowledgeable stall that takes pride in their work. You can rest assured your vehicle will be fixed right. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else. Great job guys!
I highly recommend this for auto maintenance! Very professional and forthright regarding fees and procedures. No upselling or unnecessary recommendations. I had them change the oil, fix alignment and rotate tires. I plan on using them for future maintenance!
Honest, reliable and affordable. They can fix anything on your car and dont rip you off. Two thumbs way up.
My family and I have been going here for over 10 years but ever since there was an owner change or management change I feel like this place has declined I miss Chris and Nathan people who actually knew who I was and who my family was. I moved away from Lafayette in to Henderson and would still make my appointments and make the drive to get my car serviced here and now they no longer offer weekend appointments at either of their two locations. Unfortunately I no longer recommend them.
The work they did for me was not an easy fix at all and they did get it done by the time they said they would so I dont have any complaints
This shop is awesome. My husband I have been taking our very old cars there for several years now and they have never failed to take great care of us. It is evident that the business is run with ethics and honesty. No unnecessary repairs are ever suggested. My 4Runner has 240K+ miles on it and they help me invest the money I need to keep her going without throwing good money after an old car. They are friendly, capable and extremely honest. I highly recommend this shop! You will not regret it!
I highly recommend Roadmasters! I trust them to tell me exactly what is going on with my car, make the repair correctly (and quickly), and charge a fair price. They stand behind their work and I have had great experiences with them over the past year.
Short version they treat customers as if the role was reversed. As if I am customer and how I would want to be treated. Honest, Integrity, Professional, and Friendly.
Took my vehicle for an oil change. Everything seemed fine until the 2nd day after the oil change, when I took a long commute and the oil drain plug came right off as I was on the highway. Luckily I had a bit of time before the car died on me and drove to a safe spot on the side of the road. P.s. I drive a brand new car 2019 barely 3,000miles on it. I’m super frustrated, they’re supposed to be professionals.Update: 02/04/20 The manager was professional and thoughtful of my situation and took full responsibility. I appreciate the way it was handled and regret bashing them as I did act impulsively on emotions which is understandable. Currently my car will be needing a new engine which will be taken care of by RoadMasters.
I had my axle seal replace earlier this year. I took my car in last week and was told my axle seal was leaking again. I had this double checked by the dealer who had originally replaced my axle seal and they found that my axle seal was fine.Shop told me that I needed a $500 repair that was not necessary.Update: I talked to the shop manager. The terminology the shop used for two separate repairs was the same. The same term was used for referring to an axle seal replacement and axle bearing replacement. If found this out after my dealership said the axle seal was fine.I was told my car needed a repair and the shop listed the wrong part to be replaced.
Finding a good and honest mechanic is rare, Im so glad I found Roadmasters. Had to replace a tire and Tim and his team were fantastic. Friendly and professional service from start to finish. Will definitely be bringing my cars here for other needs
Great service! Tim and Nathan were very helpful and informative. Coordinating the work was easy and painless. The technicians did a GREAT job as well. I have been thoroughly impressed every time I go here thus will continue to do so.
I rave about the service here. Rightfully so. They nail the work and always on time. Nick is one of the counter folks -- he is top notch, each and every time. Most importantly...they are people with whom you can forge a relationship. If you live in South Boulder -- go here!
They over tightened my lug nuts on my truck to the point it took a 2’ breaker bar to remove them. Im glad I wasnt in the middle of nowhere trying to fix a flat when I found it out. I called and talked to the manager about this and he was going to get back to me on this issue and I never heard from him again and this was almost a year ago.
Great service at a good price. Have been a continuing customer for years and not one complaint. They have always taken car of my cars honestly.
Great customer service. Friendly staff. Quick and efficient repairs
A bunch of scam artists. Guaranteed to go out of business.. The managers off his meds and the mechanics dont know how to do their jobs. The services they provide are a liability and in no way should you feel reassured your vehicle is safe to drive after leaving this place. Take it to the dealership instead, its cheaper and all work comes with a warranty. I also get a really funny feeling they like to black list and make false police reports on people they dont like. And to the worker who reads this, no you cant make it right and no, I dont care what you think. This review is to bring attention to the unsuspecting customers you guys pretend to help. Yall need mental help, seriously.
Great service, in and out in 1 day. Never once felt as if I was being upsold on anything. Very clear and objective advice from professional technicians. Stephen is definitely my new guy when it comes to tire and break service.
Fast and affordable car maintenance. Im happy my cousin recommended Roadmasters to me!
Today was my first visit, and I feel confident this is an honest business. I had asked for an alignment, but they called and said my tires were too bad to successfully align the wheels. He did offer to sell me tires (red flag), BUT with zero pressure.I shopped around and bought tires elsewhere. And since I brought my own oil and filter, they only made about 18 bucks off of me. However, by being honest, they did earn my future business for oil changes and that alignment I still need done. Will update review based on future experiences.
These guys are super. Fair prices, great consistent work I can rely on. Highly recommended.
As always- prompt, friendly service, honest advice, and a fresh cup of coffee! Thanks Guys!
The team at Roadmasters are awesome. Tyler worked on my car with super short notice. Great service all around, definitely recommend to everyone local or passing through the area.
I love this place! these are people you can trust with your car!
Over the years of being part of the Lafayette community, the staff at Roadmasters has become more than acquaintances, and more like friends. They know my name, my mother, my dogs and our cars. They are professional and knowledgeable. My car, a 2002 Honda, runs very well because they take such good care of us. I love going there!
Great products and outstanding service! I have been taking my work and personal vehicles to Roadmasters for the last 6 years. They continue to exceed my expectations.
These guys are AWESOME! Tim and his technicians always take care of me and know exactly what they are doing.Love having somewhere I can trust to get my car all fixed up!
I always have a great experience at Roadmasters. Ed and Nick are both so friendly and nice, and I always trust them to give me honest advice. It is so hard to find a good mechanic you can trust, but my husband and I have been coming here for years!
Straightforward, no drama and they give a detailed write up with pictures so you can reference later if you want to do some of the work yourself/ save money for future repairs.
I called two times on 3/27/2019 to get an appointment to get my vehicle repaired, Steven hung up the phone in my face (2x). I have a speech disability, so he did not try to take the time to understand me.I WOULD NOT recommend anybody to come here. If they are in a rush to get off the phone, then that means they will be in a rush to repair your vehicle and not do their job correctly.
The Roadmasters in the Table Mesa Shopping Center in south Boulder is a great all-around auto service shop, in addition to being a full-service tire store. I depend on Roadmasters to keep my vehicles running. They are systematic and persistent in finding the root cause of car troubles and the work gets done fast, at reasonable rates.
I had a terrible, costly long experience with Roadmasters. My car was towed in since it wouldnt start. After being in their shop 7 days they finally got the car started after advising me the car needed a timing belt which would cost roughly $500. They tore the front of the engine apart to do the timing belt and realized that wasnt the issue. By the time they got the car running (7 days later) by changing the spark plugs (which is what I thought it needed since the car was flooded) they then wanted to install o2 sensors for another $300 since the car was running rough and lean. I had lost confidence in these guys and just got my car out of there. Taking it to my regular mechanic, the car didnt need 02 sensors, but spark plug wires. I replaced those and the car ran beautifully. In the end I think their diagnostics was a wild goose chase for 7 days, especially with the timing belt diagnosis that didnt pan out. I read the other reviews and Im wondering how I got caught up in this crazy lengthy search on their part since the reviews are very supportive. Really the worst car repair experience I can recall. I had it towed in since my regular mechanic was booked solid, hoping they would help, but never, never again.I do not mind paying for time, expertise and service. I thought it was completely unfair to charge me for the timing belt, which they reduced from my bill after a lengthy conversation with Nate the GM. They charged me $150 for diagnostics which is completely unprincipled, since their diagnostics was completely off base and cost me 7 days of my car being out of service. This may be the rare experience for Roadmasters. But it takes a genuinely fair minded and ethical business to say we blew this one and the customer shouldnt have to eat our mistakes. But they argued and stood hard on false pretenses and bad data rather than own up and do the fairest and most ethical thing.....and not charge for their mistakes.
Competitively priced, not quite as customer service oriented as Coopers Automotive, but maybe I was a little bit stressed that day to be fair...Please share our roads newcomers and yokles alike. Thanks
Ive been going to these guys for years... they are great... great service and good people work there...
I recently brought a car I was considering buying in to Roadmasters for an inspection. Ive taken many used cars over the years to different mechanics for the same purpose. However, the gentlemen at Roadmasters completely blew me away with their level of dedication and comprehensive thoroughness. It took a couple hours, but it was well worth it as they didnt overlook anything. Their inspection report even included photographs of any potential concerns they came across. It cost just shy of $70 with tax, and it was worth every penny. I was impressed from the beginning when I asked about the price, and they explained that if I wasnt satisfied with their report or decided not to buy the vehicle their next inspection was free!A straight forward, honest and service oriented mechanic seems to be a rare commodity but they make it seem easy. The waiting area was immaculately clean and included plush chairs, a assortment of magazines, complimentary bottled water and Keurig coffee. It is also equipped with a high definition TV and free WiFi.If you are in Lafayette and find yourself in need of a mechanic, I HIGHLY recommend the guys at Roadmasters.
Always very helpful and will squeeze you in. Explained every problem well and are reasonable.
Amazing work, amazing crew. I was very happy with the service I had done here, and the guys were helpful when it came to doing the best job for my price range.
Ive taken any and all of my vehicles there. Ive always been treated with respect and understanding! !! Steve and Nathan are the guys to talk to.Thank you for your help on getting my car safety back on the road.
Really nice guys who helped me with m car arm rest for free.
Had a really good experience with these guys. I have worked on all my own trucks most of my life so not ignorant to issues and repairs. These guys take the time to show and explain the issues the best way possible for those that may not understand systems and operation of systems. Already having a good knowledge I could tell these guys were on up and up with cost and repair needs. I am a GC and like the auto repair industry we have a bad name because of some bad actors in the industry. These guys are honest, use integrity and really show that its more than just profits its about the customer and doing the right job at a fair price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS AT ROADMASTERS AUTO CARE.
We had a bad leak in one tire, drove the car down to Roadmasters and they fixed it right away. Fast, courteous service. Great to have them in our neighborhood!
Absolutely the best in the area as far as I am concerned. They have gone the extra distance to care for my ancient Jeep Cherokee and have kept it running. They have also cared for our other vehicles and will continue to get my business whenever I have need.
Excellent service and extreme patience.
They are friendly and honest. The only place I take my vehicles
Very good service and friendly people! Everything was ready to go as soon as I arrived at the shop.
Quick, accurate estimates of when car will be done. Service always seem done well. Nice guys, too.
I had a blow out from the rail road tracks by Dillon. I drove up here and they looked at my car. They didnt have my tire in stock but called around and found one. A technician drove me over to the place that had the tire to buy it, drove me back, and installed it.They didnt have to do that, but I appreciated that they did since I was immobile. They were very professional and understanding.
Good prices, great service, call ahead and plan your visit if you can they are often busy.
Even though I moved away from Lafayette, I keep going back to these guys. Fairest mechanics in the area and theyve always fixed my problems.
Had my car towed and the next day it was fixed-clutch problem. Very courteous people and I have full confidence in the work they do!
Nice people. Do what they say theyll do in a timely manner.
Reasonable prices and good customer service
Will not go back. Paid $130 for them to run a test on my tans and tell me its slipping. Well thats what i told them was wrong. Its like going to the doctor, telling them youre sick, they charge you $500 and tell you that youre sick. Yeah thanks
Roadmasters is my place to go to get anything done on my car. My 1999 Dodge Intrepid has over 220K miles on it. Roadmasters has kept it running with tires, batteries, headlamps, and a rebuilt transmission. That is not to mention the normal, routine PM service. Several of my family also trust their cars care to Nathan, Krys and the crew at Roadmasters.
Needed a tire fix. Had to leave it with them for a few hours so they gave me a ride to and from home. Lot of service for a $20 repair. I plan on using them next time I need something more serious done ( which I hope is a long time from now ).
Super honest, friendly and always show the old(dead) parts replaced!
Only place Ill go now.
My go to
Received good service
Thank you for installed my car
Excellent service!
Great service
Good job
