Well, the quarters is a good place to be. In August when I got to know about the move in date at the quarters, I was quite skeptical. I would always return and ask to be sure if the date hasnt changed. To my surprise they kept their words ..They are truthful people. The apartment was all according to the description given, and they are kind hearted.

Ive been here for a year and am staying until I graduate and so far I really like it. Their opening hours are what work well for me because I have some late nights so staying open til 7 really helps. They offer lots of little events like tie dye or pottery painting so if you want to make friends you can. Only thing is the work order process- you dont get an estimate when They will come so it could be M-F 8am-7pm. Just be sure you leave lots of details for the issue so if you are out and about a lot they can fix it while you are gone.:) Really nice apartment complex overall 👍

I love living here! Anytime there any issue maintenance is quick to help and the staff is extremely kind! They offer so many fun activities weekly and the amenities are great!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! If I could get give them 0 stars, I would. The management was not helpful at all. They tried to say I did not pay my rent, but it was their fault because they would lose or misplace my money order. And I would get charged late fees because of this. Also, they always put overages on your rent every month so you don’t pay the rate they say you will. They have a bad waterbug problem that they could not seem to fix because they would lie someone would come spray the apartment. Also, the week my roommates and I moved out, we found mold all throughout our unit and on our personal belongings. The mold was on the windowsill, the walls, my wigs (pictured below) and not pictured our shoes. I have had bad headaches and they started a little bit after we moved in this unit but I never saw the mold since my curtains covered the window and I never looked hard at the walls to notice until I seen my shoes were covered in mold. When they came to check the mold, they sprayed the mold on the windowsill clean and said they will paint over the mold on the walls as if it is a recurring issue. Now, they are trying to charge me and my roommates overcharges and we haven’t even been living there. They claim we left our apartment trashed but we have video evidence that it was left cleaned. Since I have been a resident there, they have been giving me a lot of problems. Especially for someone that paid their rent on time and also leaving every unit clean after I move out. Also, they call this complex student living where you think you’ll be living with someone that’s a student or at least your age since they do roommate compatibility, but they’re definitely open to rooming you with anyone including couples and people with children. I advise everyone to either move to another student living complex or a regular apartment complex, it’s probably cheaper.

This place is one magical, organized, hardworking, community that cares about the people in the complex and around the complex. Living here is very versatile and very adaptable to your living styles. The staff loyal and enthusiastic. I always find it amusing to see how everything in our little community works. I truly believe that this place is MARVELOUS!!!

So far, I am more than pleased living here! It is always clean around the complex and there’s always a friendly face! My main concern was security, but I feel so safe living here! The Clubhouse’s amenities are AMAZING! The free printing really comes in handy! The apartments are AMAZING sizes, and I love it so much that I just renewed my lease!

The quarters is a great place to live in college. It’s a great way to make new friends plus it’s right by campus, making it easy access. The staff here is great and is always fast to help you if there is any problems.

I love the quarters! They did a great job of paring me with my roommates and we all get along so well. It’s also very pet and human friendly! I love it there because the staff is always so helpful and ready to help with a smile on there face. The prices are very affordable and the quarters always has great deals and giveaways! The bedrooms and bathrooms are also a great size!

I have been living at the quarters for 4 years now and I love it! You can’t beat the price and the location is walking distance to ULL. I haven’t had many maintenance issues, but all of my work orders have been completed in a timely manner. The staff is always giving the residents breakfast, and all sorts of other treats. It is a great place to live!

Is an ok place to live but not very secure, supposedly is gated but someone broke into my car last night!

I have lived at the Quarters Apartments for almost a year now, and I love it here. It is beautiful! I have already renewed my lease for next year and cannot wait to stay in a single room next year!

This is one of the nicer places I have lived. They have a great staff and are very responsive to any problems you may have! Fairly affordable and would recommend checking it out!

The staff is so nice and helpful (especially my queen Izzy) and always answer my 1000 questions. Much nicer apartment than I’ve lived in in the past. Lots of space for the price you pay!!

My experience in my apartment so far has been incredible, Its spacious, facilities works well, and the apartment management do their best to maintain the facilities on a regular basis. I will strongly recommend you the Quarters Apartment because I enjoy all this cool services for an affordable price.

I love the quarters because of how close it is to school, the location is the best part about The Quarters. The quarters had a great pool are to chill and hangout with friends or even tan alone. The gym is small but convenient, it gets the job done, plus it has a tanning bed! The quarters staff are always ready to help, shipping a package here and picking it up is never a problem. If you need help with something that’s going wrong in your apartment, maintenance will assist you as soon as you put in a work order. Overall, the quarters was a great place to live in for my first apartment experience.

I love living at the Quarters! I’ve lived here since May 2019. My favorite things about living here are the big pool, the clubhouse (playing pool is so much fun!), and living on the 3rd floor. I love the layout of my apartment and have met some very cool people because of my decision to live here! Plus, being so close to campus and the community is awesome! I highly recommend! The staff is always so helpful and know me by name. You really feel like family when you live here!

The Quarters has been a great place to live! I love our layout plan and space. The prices were about the same with my old apartment, but I’m getting more space in my room and a huge closet for the price. The only downside to living there is the very limited visitors parking inside the gate so my friends have to park outside the gate and walk to my apartment which I don’t find the safest being that they are women.

Hi! Im moving into The Quarters this fall and Im so excited! Ive never had a place of my own and Im glad I get to start this new phase of my life at such a nice complex. Ive been to The Quarters many times and dont have any complaints about the apartments, so I encourage anyone whos on the fence to go and tour with them asap!

The Quarters is such a great and affordable place to stay ! Staff is always eager and ready to help and I love how utilities are included. Havent had problems here been here going on two years I think. and events is always being held which is very helpful ! Love it here !!

It is a nice affordable place, with plenty of amenities. It is specially suitable for students...they get to live close to the campus, with their own bed and bath (furnished)... The best thing I like about Quarters is their individual lease system..that way I can stay in a shared apartment without having to go through the headache of arranging for other roommates. It is very suitable for people moving to Lafayette for the first time.They can improve a bit on their maintenance services (That is the only reason I did not give a 5 star). Otherwise, it is a great place to live, with gym, pool, etc.. and it is at a walkable distance to the downtown.. there are small shops nearby for food and grocery.. pretty convenient.

I love living here :) it is a safe location close to campus and the downtown area. Everyone is super friendly, there is always stuff in the office for us like food or coffee and there’s always contests to win things. There’s also a theatre, a very nice pool and a nice gym. And it’s affordable. 10/10 :)

The apartments are overall very nice. The bedrooms and bathrooms are big and the living area is nice. Also, I can walk to school in under 15 minutes. However, the management style here is a bit lacking. The roommate personality quiz won’t determine what room you’re actually in, roommate disagreements aren’t handled well, and there are hidden fees all over the place along with rent. If you can handle extra charges for electricity and parking, these apartments will probably work out for you.

The Quarters is the perfect reasonably priced college off campus living for students around Lafayette. With many options and layouts to choose from it makes it very nice to receive all the amenities they have to offer. It’s the perfect distance to walk or bike to class which is great also! The staff is very friendly and always willing to help to resolve any issue or questions I have. They’re always offering incentives and having fun things to do for us to get involved with. Overall I have had a great experience living here!

I love living at the Quarters. I moved in last summer and honestly have no complaints. The location is great for walking to campus and downtown. The pool, computer lab, and movie theater are really nice too!

One of the smoothest and well planned out move in processes I’ve experienced yet. The quarters took their time with each resident and made sure every form was filled out. They were extremely organized and professional in the way they’ve handled the move in process. Every work order we’ve put in is answered within a few days by their maintanence crew (who are all very respectful and nice). The front desk is ALWAYS very friendly and welcoming. They’re always eager to assist you and any way you need. Each employee has Incredible customer service skills. The office will even set up events every other week, so that residents are able to meet each other. They sometimes have breakfast laid out and even pool tournaments! The quarters have so far exceeded my expectations!! I love the quarters!!

I love the close distance to campus, high ceilings on the third floors, the pool, the printer, all the free food, strong water pressure with a large hot water tank, the quick-responding maintenance team, and that each person has their own bathroom!Also, if you’re unhappy with one apartment here, try switching to a different one. I hated my first apartment because it was right up against the railroad tracks and my neighbors had noisy dogs that pooped in the rocks next to the walkway. It smelled horrible all the time. I switched to building 3 further from the tracks and with less pets around, and I haven’t had those issues anymore.

I love my apartment so much! Very spacious & nice, especially considering that it’s very inexpensive! The staff is so nice & helpful. Every time something is broken, it is fixed the next day. I love it here!

It has very good swimming pool, and gym. On top of that, their staff are very nice and friendly especially, Natalie and Rachel. Besides, sometimes they give high quality foods for free. One of the things I also liked was that their maintenance service that very fast.

When moving in there were so many things that needed to be fixed and touched up on (so much for a before moving in inspection). When they come in to fix things they do not notify you before showing up, so if this bothers you please leave in the notes section of the maintenance request for them to do so. There are students working here so don’t expect a professional to walk in and the job to be completely done in one visit/request.Most of the furniture is beat up, however some people get lucky with certain styles of furniture and/or extra furniture which your fellow neighbors might not have. The sofas are disgusting!!!! Fortunately for my roommate and I they put covers over them to hide it but a neighbor suggested to me that they did not do the same for them. They don’t apply this but if you want to take a look at what your apartment will look like, don’t bother. You will find out on move in day and will either be happy or disturbed. A friend of mine moved into a three bedroom just to find out her room looks like a dorm room and the living room is as big as an office space.Pets anyone!?!?! Well you’re in luck because the quarters is pet friendly....unless you have animals that are discriminated. There’s a long list of “pet” dogs that is not allowed (and yes I did say they are pet friendly) and you can’t find this list unless you’re looking for it. This is one way they get you to move in (marketing right?!?). if you read almost everything before hand though you’ll be fine but imagine my feelings after paying the deposit and then getting word that my new baby pit bull has been denied residency with his owner because of his breed (sounds just like American standards to me. Iykyk.) Most of the resident don’t pick up their dog feces but I was told from a representative first hand that they know this. However, if they catch you in particular leaving it behind you will get fined because it’s “fair.” If you are a clean and decent person then you have nothing to worry about.Customer service! Whew! It’s very stiff once you’ve been here a while but if your job requires this then you will know first hand that it’s shaky. It varies from person to person, but hey some fake it until they make it and ain’t nothing wrong with that if you personally accept it.As a whole I am satisfied with my living arrangements here but that’s because I can decorate/add furniture at my own discretion. Being able to make it feel like a real home is really the only thing that makes me happy. I do get bad reactions from others when I tell them I stay at The Quarters. Why? I’m not sure about their experiences personally but people suggest that I go anywhere but the quarters.My thing is this, we are college students and they don’t expect us to have high expectations or adult views because, let’s be real, some students are getting their rent paid for by their parents and could care less about anything important. I have personally been treated like I was dumb but didn’t realize it until after the fact. Choose wisely where you want to live. The next student housing may be what’s best, worst, or the same as The Quarters. I know one things is for sure though; college students only get a taste of adult respect but are still looked at as kids.If you have read this far you are great for wanting to know what’s real and what the experience of living here is like. If you do decide to settle please make sure that YOU create a well experience for yourself.Thank you!

The living conditions here are really nice with a club house which is really awesome. The price is just right and very informative. The only thing is that the monthly utilities allowance is kinda low which I have to pay out of pocket 6 to 7 dollars every month. Other than that its a pretty solid deal.

It has been a great experience overall, I love how it feels like home. It was awesome that y’all set up events when we moved up here to welcome us and get us accustomed to living here. I would not want to live anywhere else in Lafayette.

I really enjoy living here! My apartment was very clean when moving in and bedroom is a great size with a large closet. The pool and fitness center are my favorite amenities.

Currently a resident here at the Quarters and have been for 2 years. Apartment came fully furnished and clean among arrival. The overall complex is always clean and kept up. The commute to campus is short and well within walking distance. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to renewing!

I love this place, I am a current resident and I wouldnt pick a better place to live. They are affordable and pet friendly. They have a pool, theatre, gym, lounge and a gate to protect the place.

After several problems with the housing department at ULL, I was in need of a place to live just 2 weeks before school started. I toured the Quarters and loved it! The staff was friendly and helpful! I’ve lived here for about two months and can’t complain! Nice facility and amazing rooms and amenities!

I have been living in Quarters for the last 2 month. Very nice & Clean apt! The clubhouse, GYM facility, movie room are also very nice. Also, the maintenance of this apt is very quick. I would highly recommend others to live here. Only issue is there is a train line behind the apt housing at these trains honks at night.

I had the best experience living here! The location is close to campus and is in a good neighborhood. Staff is very helpful and maintenance was always quick to make any repairs needed. Apartment was well furnished and clean.

Maintenance requests get answered within the same day which is super handy. Its walking distance from campus so you dont have to drive to Cajun Field and park there which I prefer. Overall, Ive enjoyed my experience and renewed for the next year!!

The Quarters is a great place to live for its close location to UL Lafayette, the fun events the staff plan, and the free giveaways. They have a lot of nice opportunities to meet people with free food and fun events. However, it is mostly student living, so there are lots of noisy neighbors. My bike, and several others, were stolen even after being locked up because of the unsafe neighborhood. There are also a lot of maintenance issues that after many calls with staff are still not solved. Overall, I think it is the best place to live though compared to competitors and I really enjoy the events and community feeling.

My daughter has lived at this property for 3 years and I am more than impressed with all the quarters has done for her. We have not had any problems with the property and I know she is safe at her apartment with all of the security they have in place. During our move in, the office staff was so helpful and helped me calm down with my daughter moving away from home. Great place to live and I would recommend it to anyone going to ULL!

I have lived here for nearly three years and absolutely love it. The location is very convenient to the University. It is only takes a few minutes for me to bike to campus. Whenever my roommates and I have any maintenance issues, it is addressed within 24 years. Our washing machine went out one day, and we had it replaced the following day! I love the pool and entertaining area near it as my friends and I use it often. The apartments are spacious, modern, and fully furnished which is way more than I could ask for as a college student. I love using the gym when I do not want to travel to Bourgeois. I would definitely recommend The Quarters to a friend.

I had zero problems while living in the quarters last summer. I loved the place, huge living room, nice bathrooms, super fast wifi. The gated part made me feel extra protected of who could come into my place of residence. The office staff is great! They would always text me when i received packages. Always had smiles and were willing to talk to me anytime i stopped by the gym. I wish i could’ve stayed here longer. I never saw any signs of bugs, or roaches. Keep your place clean and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Nice proximity to campus, and they have many free incentives for residents from time to time like free food or movie night. Great place to live if youre looking.

The quarters is a great place to stay and the gated community makes a lot of residents feel safe. Only thing I would consider changing would be the number of visitor parking spots. Parking could be expanded.

I love the Quarters. It’s walking distance from campus and very family friendly. Hopefully one day they will look into building a basketball court.

Have loved living here until recently. My rent has not gone down despite amenities not being open for the residents 24/7, regardless of being in phase 3. All other student apartment complexes (Campion, The Edge, Heritage) are open to residents at all times. When I called about this they said it would be a couple months before they open 24/7 again. I loved living here because as a college student, I was able to print and workout after work and class, and not rush to be there before 6. Also, my electricity overages for this month were $30 as were my roommates. That is $60 total!! This is absolutely ridiculous considering we keep the air at 75 during the day, hand wash all of our dishes and wash clothes maybe 3x a week.

I’ve never lived at the quarters, but i enjoyed visiting there when my boyfriend lived there. The apartment was spacious and modern and his room was HUGE!! They would have different little events that were so cool, my favorite was their pool tournament for a chance to win $100 and their crawfish boil at the pool, it was lit! 🔥

The Quarters are the BEST student apartments in the area and they happen to be the closest to campus! The pictures on the website are exactly what you are getting! I really enjoy everything about living at The Quarters because the office staff and maintenance are super nice helpful at all times!

Ive been here for 2 years and I have to say I have enjoyed my time here. Everything is actually pretty nice. The furnishings are good, the closets are nice, the bathrooms are your own and the space in the rooms is a dream. The washer and dryer in the apartment, the pool, exercise room, computers, and even the free coffee and cookies make living here a nice experience. Weve had a few issues, namely bugs but were near a lot of foliage in the first floor so it makes sense, but the Quarters does actually try to fix it. The staff is so nice and personalable and the amount I pay in rent is a steal next to the dorm rooms. Easy to walk to class and save on gas and free food and giveaways definitely help where youre a college student. I recommend it and I think its a really nice first apartment. I hope my next one live up to it.

The quarters is a student only apartment complex located walking distance from campus. since Ive moved in I have been very satisfied. My bedroom is very spacious and so is our living area. I did not come with roommates therefore, I was placed with random roommates, I didnt meet them until I moved in but it seems like weve been knowing eachother forever! living in the quarters helps me save gas being that I am able to WALK to class. I love where I live!

You need to know what youre looking for when picking an apartment. Location is great, youre about four blocks from campus and not much farther from downtown. The rooms are decent sizes and each have their own bathroom and their is a washer and dryer in the unit. Furnished and roommate matching too so if youre stuck and need a place last minute or have a group, it can all work out. This place is nice, is it perfect? No, it isnt supposed to be, but that doesnt mean you wont enjoy your stay. The staff is great, they do everything they can to provide a good time and experience for you while you live here. If youre on a budget and need a place or if you want to be close to campus, this is a good choice.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Quarters. The bundled rent payments (containing TV, power, water, and Wifi) make payments convenient and hassle free. Also, the friendly staff make sure that you are well accommodated and feel right at home.

Lived here for about a month now and could not be happier. place is great big living room, fast WiFi, cable, nice pool and very affordable. Short walk to ULL and to downtown. Could not ask for much more as far as first time apartment living goes. Quarters is for sure the best choice for living while going to college.

My son is a senior at ULL. We looked at many complexes searching for his off campus apartment. We had a good feeling from the start at The Quarters. The office staff was accommodating and helpful. The proximity to the campus and security are the top factors in our decision for him to stay there.

DO NOT SIGN THE LEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was coming from out of state and they TRICKED my mother into believing that they were in Baton Rouge and not Lafayette to get the lease signed.Once you sign a lease, thats it. You are let out under no circumstances. I had to commute to law school every single day and they helped NOT ONE BIT. Subleasing was a nightmare. Have to pay $480 just to SUBLEASE. and then they would not let my subleaser move in until a different date from what they initially stated.Management is a joke. Had to call corporate because they were VERY unreasonable with the subleasing process. Corporate knew nothing about me being locked into this lease and stated they would have done more if they knew. Horrible communication between employees. I was informed that I could do the subleasing process on the weekend. I drove from Alabama to Louisiana on a Saturday to start the process just to be told to wait until Monday. They care nothing about you as a person.Dont live here. I barely used water and air because it was just me in a 3x3 and I was out of town most days and was STILL BILLED EXTRA. Staff is rude. Had to call corporate for ANY ASSISTANCE. Its not worth living here.

I was told the Quarters would be like a second home to me when I was considering signing a lease. Little did I know that I would be charged extra fees every month for going over on electricity and water. No matter how much me and my roommate would cut back on electricity, we would still be charged nearly every month.I am not the most financially stable person, so these extra fees truly drained my bank account. Ive had to cut back on and borrow groceries, textbooks, toiletries, and food of all things just to pay my rent and fees.In addition, since I have transferred into my new apartment, the Wifi has been constantly going in and out making homework and work near impossible to get done in time. Despite me calling for it to be fixed, the problem persists. If I am paying a large amount of rent compared to other apartments in Lafayette, I would expect there to be quality internet but evidently not.While there are some good things about the complex such as the club house and the furnishing, overall my experience has not been good.I hope this review helps someone!

Close to ULL campus (walking distance) with great floor plans! Near downtown and great food options near by!

Its walking distance from campus, just make sure to look at the floorplans, some have smaller rooms than others. But overall it is just as good as any apartment under $550 per month

Super great for college students, really close to campus and they are always holding events for residents to participate in. It’s an awesome first apartment with lots of great amenities!

Ive been living here for the past 5(ish) months, and so far, I have really enjoyed it. Its super close to the university, so getting up in the morning and making it to class on time is a breeze! If ever there are any maintenance issues (which havent come up often in my experience), they are addressed very quickly and the staff is very helpful. The amenities - such as the pool and gym - are definitely a plus. I personally really appreciate the on-site movie theater which is right next to the gym and main office. The bedrooms are nice and spacious with decently sized closets, and the fact that the apartments are fully furnished is a blessing. I would definitely recommend the quarters to a friend!

Poor service

I signed my lease in November to move in in August! I absolutely love it there and all the staff is so helpful and kind.

Living back here is so peaceful. Affordable rates, great service.

Very nice workers always willing to help no matter the circumstance. Rooms are great too
