I have now officially switched from Home Depot to Lowes. Their selection is better, the recruiting and the training of their staff is better, and their prices are fair. At least for me, living in Lady lake, its also very convenient.

I do not recommend Lady Lake Lowes (#1685) for hot water heaters and installs. In late January, I bought a hot water tank for a propane system and paid Lowes for the installation. The installation happened two days later - very quickly and very professionally done. Then the hot water heater started shutting off repeatedly. It turns out that a natural gas unit was sent out for install rather than a propane unit, and that by hooking it to propane, the warranty had been voided. By mid-March, the plumbing manager had agreed that regardless of blame, Lowes would take responsibility. It is for this reason that this review gets 2 stars instead of 1. Since mid-March, there has been a ridiculous series of non-communication, ordering mistakes and supply problems. I finally called the national customer service number, and appear to be getting some traction. Everyone I talked with at Lowes #1685 has been very kind. But almost no one but the manager can get anything done, and he is very, very busy.

They have magic paint at this store. The sample said gorgeous white (got 5 gal) looked a little beige in can before open. Turned pink on walls😝 Also I had delivery order charged for 3 items not delivered. Was told by delivery men I wasgiven credit because they did not have. That was also incorrect. It took a very honest Will for me to get credit.Good luck made mistake of trying this store again . I would give store a Minus 10 stars. There is a way to clean your reputation up on line. okay lets add another 3 black marks . o bought a fridge from them tomorrow will be 3rd time stayed home waiting for them.

Felicia went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I went in looking for a home security system and a few employees didn’t know much about them, then Felicia found me. She stayed by my side until we found exactly what I needed to feel safe in my house. I hope to see her again, she was amazing

We went to buy a toilet and got a great price on an American standard. We only shop at Lowes because being a veteran they honor our service and that is wonderful. A HAPPY shopper.

I went online and found a kitchen sink I liked.. I then searched all around my area Lowe’s per Lowe’s store to see who had it since I needed ASAP. I found it here, an hour away so as I drove off for it, I started to call to verify they did have it, since It was an hour away.. all the way there I was transferred from Dept to Dept.. got cut off after so long on hold. At 10 min away they say leave your name and number so we can call you if we find it. I said I’m 10min away, by time I get there hopefully it’s ready for me. Get there and turns out not only did it show online, they saw 3 in there system.. but to my surprise they did NOT have it, couldn’t give me any kind of credit to purchase another one for the inconvenience .. nice people but to very helpful or concerned about my aggravation… not even manager Dennis.. . not going back there if I can help it! Don’t seem to care!

I just purchased 3 appliances at a great price. They have the best customer service. Home Depot has lost my business.

Pretty much always find what I went to get. Well organized store. Sometimes its a little hard to find someone to help, but eventually you can find an employee. Once you do, they will do whatever is needed to get what you need. Prices are just a tiny bit higher than the other stores but here, they cater to personal instead of commercial.

Overall ok, the lady blond thin lady in garden needs some people skills. Other than that great service. Shaun from lumber and the cashiers in lumber are AMAZING!

Always a great store for home projects. Great people work there. Always get help if needed. Great atmosphere there.

Im a huge home improvement kinda gal so I love going to Lowes. Endless possibilities to renovate. The only downfall is not having enough money to get everything you want. Other than that, good job guys! 👍

Their curbside service is wonderful...order on-line and park in their lot and they bring your order right to your car. Great service for those that have ambulatory issues.

Wanted to buy a piece of remnant linoleum and the manager said check back for the next 3 days and Ill get it priced by then. I didnt want it that bad.

Update:Their website is cheaper!!! $26.75 vs. $31.33 for same product. Leaving here!! (See pics for hardware cloth pricing.) And unlike what they tout here on Google maps, they do not disinfect between patrons.Previously:A clean store with smiling staff and assistance when needed.

Never any help available in the store you got to go look for everybody they are totally understaffed and always have been this isnt anything new. I keep saying Im never going back in there but I always wind up there somehow.

Overall experience wasnt great, but there was a guy in floor coverings that was very helpful. I was pushing a cart with a 12 vinyl roll on it, youve got the aisles so full its very hard to get around.

Pretty terrible experience overall, ordered a new dryer online said there was 1 in stock for same day pick up, after a few hours we tried to call and verify if they had it, after multiple calls with no answers an associate at customer service tells us they actually have 3 in stock. Fast forward to the next day we receive a call telling us they have zero in stock and refunded our money with nothing that can be done. After contacting our local Lowes they were more than accommodating and helped us find a solution to our problem unlike this location.

Horrible experience and I am a pretty understanding and patient person. I could write a book on my experience but Ill spare you. Long story is I still dont know where my $800 shed is and In two days of trying I have yet to speak with anyone at this location that can help me. If at all possible dont do business at this location.

The very worst store in the entire district. I️ would drive over an hour as to avoid the disaster that awaits you in this store. As large as this store is, only one register in the entire facility was open at 5:00 pm. No assistance was available in the paint department and I waited 30 minutes to be assisted. As I️ finally was ready to leave the store, I️ waited another 45 minutes in line until I️ finally just set the paint aside and walked out. 15 staff members helping one person find wood but no available help at the front of the store or to assist in opening another register. Horribly ran store!

Amazing staff! I had a problem with a part in a product and they offered to replace the part. When i was checking out the part itself broke in a very surprising way and I was left in shock. The checkout clerk told me to hang on, for another manager who offered to replace the part yet once more without making any fuss about it. These people made what could have been a very stressful and hassle-laden situation a non-issue! Amazingly happy with them and will always go bank to Lowes from now on!

Youve got to love the convenience of a good Home Improvement Store. Lowes has a good selection of Tools, Appliances and other household items and is generally fairly competitive on their pricing. I like that you can find a Lowes nearby, but also when traveling in our RV out of state there is one handy when helping the kids do some home improvement or repairs.

The customer service is horrible at this location and has been for over a year. I’ve called over ten times in the last two days regarding a carpet install and can’t get ahold of anyone who knows what’s going on when I’m lucky enough to get anyone to answer at all. Home Depot will be getting our business because they obviously care more to answer the phone than any employee at this Lowe’s.

Lowes used to be my go to for all home improvement needs.This Location has the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced.They hung up 3 separate times while I was trying to inquire about my $1200 order that I put in over a month ago.They rescheduled my delivery without contacting me. Then charged me for the delivery. I now have to reschedule with the company that was to install the materials, costing me more time and money.Ive tried to contact customer service since 9am with no response.When I finally receive my refund I will be taking all future purchases to the competitor.I will never shop this location again, and I will recommend to all family and friends do the same.

I was not as impressed as I usually am! I shopped the garden center. The plants were not in the best of condition, dry and half dead! They left the sprinklers on a portion of the bedding plants. I was soaked! No one offered help with anything! Some acted as the didnt even work there to get out of helping me! I am a handicapped person. I had to climb on cinder blocks to reach hanging plants. Because, again no one would help! I did hurt myself trying to get what I needed without any help! I was extremely disappointed, and angry!!! Ive never had such a disagreeable shopping experience!

I went there to buy privacy fence panels and saw it outside on the side of the building so I went to the register and the man at the register said that there was none in stock. I told him I saw the panels outside and he insisted that the location had none. I went to the customer service desk and the lady there said that they did have it so I completed my transaction with her. I then had to wait about thirty five minutes for the loader to come. He finally comes and we tell him we need the fence so he brings it on the forklift. He then puts the forklift in park and proceeds to sit and watch as my 79 year old father attempts to help me load these 8 foot by 6 foot board on board (heavy) fence panels...he never lifted a finger. Then he suggest that it would be easier for myself and my 79 year old father to load two panels at a time. I fail to understand what part of him being 79 years old this man did not understand...needless to say, I got my fence.

Know what you want before you go to Lowes. The pricing is competitive. Military discount is huge. The Lowes in Lady Lake is above average for the Lowes Ive been to in my life. Garden dept. is nice. The staff is competent and there appears to be enough of them. Store is clean and organized. In going back.

Dont but from this lowes there staff is rude and useless we bought a fridge from them and they use 3rd party venders that they know are horrible xpo logistics in case anyones curious there delivery drivers show up nowhere near there delivery time damage your doors removing them if there in the way (they didnt even ask us they just did it dropprd the fridge in the middle of my kitchen and left saying thier not responsible for install (they are by the way) with broken feet doors alll jacled up lowes wont help us with the return xpo keeps running us in circles to anyone that reads this i just want you to not have to go through all this

The store sales person was great, however the delivery was terrible, hours late and when he came was not pleasant, He ripped my flooring to the slab, during install and when I asked him to move the units to the corner and I had the extensions to do it .He said he could not do it, but the truth was he did floor damage and did not want it to be exposed to us .Was sneaky and very deceitful, it could of been told to us and we would of called customer care immediately. But he left pretense all was good !The customer service is not great !I have a new home and it’s a shame to ruin someone’s home when your trying to improve your home !I’ have been waiting to hear how they are gonna repair our flooring it’s terrible thing to do to customer

First time in my life using curbside pickupWasnt to bad placed a order while driving hands free of course. Called let them know I was there and the brought my item out to my car. And on my way home .Will be trying again with other businesses.

My family and I have noticed a change in attitude by the employees, not as friendly or helpful at all and actually rude at this location except for the cash register lady who made me decide to give this Lowes 4 stars and not the 2 I was going to give! Work on your attitude boys and girls!

I love lowes. But, theyve gone away from contractors and move to more homeowners. When your a contactor and need to get your things and go you cant because your waiting behind homeowners in contractor sales. I understand thats where the money is but were there bread and butter.

Lowes uses Lord Appliance, Ocala, for their warranty service on dryers. Based on the service from Lords, I will never buy another appliance at Lowes.1) repairman shows up on time and analyzes the problem. Will be back in 5-7 days.2) 13 days later I call Lords to check on the part. What a miracle, the part just came in today. Our man will be there between 9-1.At 2:20 wife calls to query. Hes running late, will be there by 3.3)Man shows up. Hes s on personal call for 20 minutes and then informs us that he doesnt have the correct parts. I will be back in two days, hopefully with the parts I need4) We will be without a working dryer for 3 weeks. 3 weeks to merely change out 2 boards. WHAT A JOKE.Call Lowes and get a great line of b/s. They talk to you like you are a child. What a shame or sham.

I like walls because their prices are usually cheaper than Home Depot but if I cant find it at Lowes I go to Home Depot Home Depot is farther away to so cost me more and gas to get there but that theres a hardware store in Bellevue I think its right across from Burger King right in that area there anyway McDonalds Burger King checkers right across the street they have a lot of things and theyre very willing to help you

I went to Lowes looking for a small bag of concrete mix or a box of plaster of Paris. After asking 3 people I did not find the plaster of Paris. So I went on to the concrete mix. Tge smallest size bag was 50 pounds for 3.89. This was way more than I needed; there was no one around help me lift it therefore, I did not end up getting either my concrete or plaster Paris.

No one is available to help you and if you get ahold of someone they pawn you off or say theyll send someone and no one ever comes. Half of the time if you do get a person to help theyre as clueless as you are.

Sales people were great. I went for flowers but they were out of a lot except orchids.

Moving everything in the store around again. Finally learn the store and they move it all. If I wanted to walk a store looking for things Id go to Home Depot.

Well, I read online they carried Lemon Cypress, my fathers favorite. I had been gifted one from a wholesale nursery from California but gracious, its turning brown.This morning I stopped by and had the opportunity of being helped by an associatenamed Vicky. According to the other associate, she knows everything, and even though I had not purchased the cypress there and my back seat was stacked with all kinds of different soil, she was still kind enough to tell me exactly how to save my cypress and be able to plant it in my fathers memory.Great customer service!Going back to the Lady Lake store for sure!!

Never get any help because none of the staff will acknowledge you, so you have to hunt them down and practically make them acknowledge you while some will still brush you off an walk the hell away! This has happened multiple times, so Im done going to Lowes because the location off of Hwy 200 is just as bad!Thank God there are other options.

Happened to get a grumpy cashier who complained about pressing numbers all day. With the self checkouts open, they only had one manned register open. My guy was the one who was sent to open another. The monitor at the self check out said I could not get my Vet discount there. I had to go to a manned one. Cest la vie.

It is usually ok. Not very friendly but is the one store near by us. Today was busy like every weekend. We waited to be helped for 20 minutes on the hardware area where the two cah registers are. There was only one person on the register. He seem ok until he saw us. He said hi and I said hello. We were showing him our items so he could scan them and there were two trays of flowers . I was talking in Spanish to my husband. I told the cashier, there are two flower trays there, and other items also I was translating in spanish to my husband in spanish. The male cashier answers, with a smart remark, I cant hear you with the mask on so, what do you think? He had a nasty attitude. I understand he might had a long and busy day but he should have just taken it easy and I would just had said is ok. We all get tired and upset sometimes. We are humans. No one is perfect. Hope he has a better week !

Lowes could make their profit goals it they priced all of the goods they sell. Nothing worse than getting to the register and no barcode. It should not be my job to ensure all the items in my cart have a barcode. And lastly good service is bs, no one ever ask if you need help. Lady Lake Lowes

Bought some nuts and bolt and learned that theres tiny letters/numbers on them that identify what it is. apparently my eyesight isnt as good as the cashiers. amazingly she was able to correctly identify the vast array of hardware correctly.

One of the reps from Sherman Williams contacted me and invited me to a presentation to show how much they appreciated my business I was offered a 5 gallon bucket of whatever I wanted paint, stucco, roofing tar, spackle. Now thats how you do it ! This is good business ethics

Visited the Lady Lake store today. The gentlemen up front were very helpful in finding what we were looking for.

I like Lowe’s, their customer service is definitely above par. As for working here..the woman I spoke with about a job opportunity was awful. Not patient, didn’t even acknowledge my availability as a graduate student and was altogether rude. I’m sure it’s better working with others because there’s always that one person, but just be on the look out here. Their hiring people want to find someone with no life outside of work to come there and never have a break. So good luck. Thanks for nothing.

They consistently out perform the other home improvement center in customer service, and are just as good on price and selection. They also support veterans and active service members every day - not just in a couple of holidays. They are my go to home improvement center.
