Great company to deal with. Replaced all the windows in my house in one day. A couple of small issues, called the next day and they came out the next morning and took care of them. Very happy with them, and would highly recommend them.

I am so impressed with this company! It took a long time for the windows to come in, but expectations were set upfront. They called me the day before installation, they showed up on time, and within 1 day, they completed the mission. The windows look great and i am so happy! Absolutely no negatives with the whole process. My house looks and feels brand new!

The contract allows 6 to 10 weeks for delivery although it is not guaranteed. Our implied contract thru emails allowed for 14 weeks due to supply chain issues throughout the industry.The new date for delivery is now scheduled for January which would be approximately 26 weeks after contracting and that date is doubtful and not guaranteed.I am helping the owner restore the property due to damage resulting from water intrusion and termite activity. As part of the mitigation your company has been contracted to mitigate these damages. All termite and rot repairs are complete except for the window contract. Your delay is resulting in water intrusion, and this is notice for you and your company to solve the water intrusion as of result of your supply issues immediately.Please note because of your inability to supply windows may result in damage to the building resulting in the need for further repairs which your company will be responsible for due to your inability to perform the contract in a timely manner.I am trying to solve the problem, but the lack of communication makes it difficult.

I had an okay experience with Window World. I had 19 windows replaced. The job was done a little later than I was told up front, but that wasnt a huge issue. It was only a few weeks later than I was told. However, they did a mediocre job with the windows. They left some trash behind, didnt vacuum the mess in the house that they left on several of the windows, they damaged one of my window sills, they sealed a few of the windows with dirty fingers and left a stain (so Ill have to paint the frames) and left these awful stickers on probably 15 out of the 19 windows. It took me 5-10 minutes of hard scrubbing to get the gunk off each of the windows. I feel like for the money you spend you should get better service. That is just my take. It isnt cheap. I paid almost 10k for mine and felt like I should have gone with a cheaper company and would have gotten the same service.

They service from Window World was beyond excellent! We replaced 30 windows and are extremely happy with all aspects. It took 2 townhouses built in the 1960’s from a drafty dark spot and transformed the whole space inside and out. So bright and cleanChris our salesman was easy to work with, knowledgeable and professional. Have used them in the past and always great experience... This time its been really bad. Ordered Windows in Feb and was told would have them in June, called in June and no one knew when they would be in. 3 weeks ago they called and scheduled install so last week of June. They then called and said need to reschedule due to rain in forecast.. it never rain, then reschedule for day after 4th no call no show only to find out they didnt have the windows. I was told windows were being delivered that week so we scheduled for next week. Only to get a txt the morning of and told they didnt have the windows. Left message for sales rep to call me and havent heard from him either. I understand things are out of wack with covid, but 3 weeks in a row and still no one knows whats up...

Replaced my sliding glass door. New door is a considerable upgrade and I love it. The installers were very professional, hardworking and determined despite encountering several roadblocks and challenges. I couldnt be happier overall.My only negative was with the overall time from when i ordered to when installation was complete (pandemic production delays), but I was given a discount to compensate. Staff was apologetic and I was ultimately in no rush. I smile every time I walk through the door. Love it!

I purchased 16 windows for my home. The seals were leaking in most of my windows so I had them all replaced. Window World was great to work with. Love my new windows and the service I received through the whole process. I have no regrets with my purchase or this company.

Believed the friendly family owned commercial without doing research. It took months to get install. Install team was unprofessional. The windows look very cheap. The worst part is the outside appearance. Very flimsy siding made worse by the crooked bolts that were installed for the hurricane covers. Would not recommend. My only issue now is my wife wants to replace more windows and a sliding door and she wants them to match.

When we purchased the windows we told the salesman that we were selling the house. He told us the buyers would of pay$50 to transfer the warranty. But when we received the paperwork after installation it jumped up to $250. Not a professional way to do business. Next time I wouldn’t take their word for it I’ll get it in writing. My fault in trusting them.

Would have been nice to know that the boards you provided were miscut again after the THIRD TRIP out to do so... Utter incompetence. After having to trim two of five boards just to fit the holes the screw holes are too large and the wing nuts just go right through. They were kind enough to give me ONE washer in case this happened. Lucky me.

Had window world give me an estimate for a sliding patio door, estimated time for installation would be 14 weeks we agreed and wrote a check for the required half down now 8 weeks into the time stated window world for installation now was told it will be in February of 2022 -7 more months, this is rediculous the sliding door which is a bigger size has not even been ordered yet in 8 weeks,I have requesting my hand money returned, I will get new estimates from another company

I wouldnt recommend Window World to anyone! I had a horrible experience with them in the replacement of my sliding glass door. I have had to deal with incompetence, missing multiple days of work, and straight up lies from this company. Buying the door is the easiest part because Troy was very friendly and informative, but it goes downhill from there. For 5 months I have had to deal with this company trying to get what I ordered installed. From installing a door backwards because it was the wrong door to the panels being scratched to being promised new doors and then the day of the install being told theres no new doors and they were just to flip them instead to them breaking the wheels on the screen door when installing it to having to wait 2 months get another one. I pray this door never breaks because I never want to have to call them again. In my opinion, there are other places in Charleston that can do this work so save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere. *Update* Please note that throughout the ordeal, Frank did try to make everything right which he did attempt to do and even reduced the remaining balance owed to compensate for the troubles caused and our lost wages.

I had a single window replaced. I was told to expect 5-6 weeks for installation. It was many more weeks beyond the original time estimate. After multiple calls, a week apart each, I was eventually scheduled. The installer showed on the afternoon of a morning appointment. The window he installed fits in the opening but is far from a match to the one that the estimator measured against. When I called back the afternoon of the installation no solution was offered. The window installed does appear to be high quality but is vastly different from the others in my house. If you are not replacing all of your windows I would pursue another option.

Im very pleased with the windows I purchased from Window World. They were the most competitive in their pricing for hurricane windows on Edisto Beach. Pricing, while important was not the sole issue that I based my decision on to purchase from Window World. Their product is well made, their installers were prompt, and professional, and every employee of the company was courteous and helpful. The installers did a thorough clean up before they left after completing the installation. The owners of the company were involved from the very beginning and made follow up calls to answer additional questions that I had. We had previously purchased many windows through Window World, after purchasing an older home. Several of the existing windows were still fairly new and double pane glass, so we left them as is. Within a week of the Window World installation, we could tell a huge difference between our new windows and the existing windows. No idea the difference would be that noticable and immediate. We just ordered replacement of all existing windows. Wish we did this initially. Great people, service and product.

Asked for an estimate and measure windows to confirm my measurements were correct. I told them they would contact my daughter or wife due to me being out of town.Daughter called after the visit. Told me the person was rude, did not enter the house, did not take a measurement and then left.I will not be purchasing windows from this company.

Not worth it. Terrible customer service and got tossed around and ignored like I didnt matter. It was a headache from start to finish. I tried to be patient because of COVID-19 but the customer service reps made it very hard. I wrote a whole novel for my distaste with this and it wouldnt fit the character limit, so this is all Ill say.

Window World was great throughout the whole process of quoting through financing and the final installation. Their sales team was really willing to take the time to explain in detail the differences in their products, styles, and the overall installation process. I felt like I knew exactly what to expect before the install, and it was right on queue. They were very accommodating in their pricing and financing and ended up matching a quote from another, bigger vendor. I like that they stand by their product with their warranties which was the biggest selling point for my family. Certainly would recommend reaching out to them if youre thinking about upgrading your windows.

We bought our hurricane windows to protect us from bad weather. Little did we know a major subdivision was going to be built behind us. Our windows prevent any noise from bothering us. Our neighbors constantly complain about noise but we dont hear a sound! Even if we never get another hurricane these windows have saved our sanity!

These guys did a super job. I will hire them again without getting competitive bids which were a waste of time. Great windows. Polite staff. But there is a complete lack of training in all their personnel. Each person to show up said the one prior didnt know what he/she was doing, and I believe it. I was never told when to expect the installers, and I was asleep when they arrived (I work shifts). Window measuring was an unnecessary fiasco. I was incorrectly advised which side to place the door hinges, and now have a door that is very awkward to open. The incorrect threshold was delivered. I was asked to pay $200 to correct their mistake. I still dont have the right threshold and this project was started in November of last year. I hate to write a bad review but I am no longer willing to chase them down.

Love our windows. Office staff scheduling & coordination with install effort could be greatly improved. We had a number of windows & when the installer arrived on Friday afternoon said it was a 2 day job. Scheduler had only scheduled 1 day. Installer was supposed to be here at 9:00 & arrived at 2:30pm due to the need to finish a job from the day before. He said he could start but needed to finish Monday or reschedule. Not the installers fault. Scheduling office should allow sufficient time for the jobs. I couldn’t take Monday off too - we work for a living too! I ended up having to take off 2 days a couple weeks later because they couldn’t FIT us into an already full schedule. Very unhappy about this part of the process! Windows are nice though.UPDATE: Received a call from Amanda regarding our review. She did the right thing as an owner. She was unaware of what had happened & called to apologize. I appreciated the follow up! I feel like I’d give them another try as the work & windows were good. Thanks Amanda!

Window World of the Lowcountry is the absolute best company experience Ive had in a long time. Adam my salesman and Brad the owner where a dream to work with when it came to picking, measuring, and giving me the best and fairest price for my windows. They promised me a time frame and it was completed in that time frame. my insulation crew could not have been more professional nor courteous. They also did a dynamite job of cleanup. I had my entire house outfitted with new windows by Window World of the Lowcountry and Ive already seen significant decreases in my energy bills. The Windows have been in for a month and great so far. Installation team was great. No bad language, careful with the interior, worked quickly but quality and cleaned up after themselves well. Scheduling was confused. I was waiting on them for a month after their projected install and finally called then they scheduled it.

Window World is great for doors as well as windows! After getting nickel and dimed by Lowes this was a breath of fresh air. One price for everything is the way it should be. Would not recommend Window World Lowcountry to anyone! Ordered 2 sliding glass doors on 7-31-18. Was supposed to be installed 10-4-18. To me, that was plenty of time to get the doors in. That didnt happen! I live 2 hours away, so I have to take off work to be there. The morning of, I get the call saying they wont be there! Now to reschedule, because they dont work Saturdays! And by the way...the workers installing, dont speak English!!!So when theres issues, you cant communicate with them to well. Then its December before my screens are installed! Now we wait on hurricane shutters that the salesman sold me only for me to find out they are so big, theres no where to store them! This is a condo, the salesman should have know that! So with all the issues we had, they upgraded me to a fabric shield. That finally came in the beginning of January. Now...Im getting harassing text messages from the owner, they want paid ASAP! I waited over 5 months to get a job done and they cant wait 10 days for me to get done with 10-12 hour days to get a chance to pay them!!They do not answer my calls after hours! Most rude person Ive ever dealt with!! The office manager is nice, but the owner is another story.

After installing a dozen windows 15+ years ago at a fantastic price, we had a minor warranty issue and they took care of the problem quickly and with excellent customer service! Rae was my point of contact and she kept me abreast of the timing and installation of the warranty items and made it an easy a wonderful experience....thanks again!

I couldnt be happier with the windows installed in my sunroom. They had to be custom, as the house was built in 1935. It took several appointments with the companys contractors to decide on the best way to install necessary supports, which was fine-it just ended up taking quite a few weeks longer than I had initially been told.The men that did the actual installation did a great job, and the room has been noticeably more comfortable this winter.

I have done business with Window World for all of my window replacements and storm door without any issues . However this time for the replacement of my side door I did. Would have given 5 stars but sat an entire day waiting and confirming their arrival only to have to reschedule for another day. :(

We bought our windows from Window over 10 years ago. Recently I noticed the seal had broken on a couple of them and one even had a small hole on the outer pane as if a rock had been thrown at it. I called Window World and gave them the necessary info. They ordered the replacements windows and changed them out when they came in. EVEN the broken one which was not their fault. No questions asked, no run around, no trying to get out of fulfilling the warranty! I am extremely grateful they stand behind their product. Having been in the retail industry and personal experience with various product warranties, its literally like pulling teeth to cash in on a warranty you, in many cases, pay additional for. You practically have to present a legal case to get anything done. So its so refreshing to see a company that honors their warranty without a hassle. THANK YOU WINDOW WORLD!!

Our two sets of French doors needed replacement to beautify and improve functionality. Eric and Christen arrived on time and very pleasantly introduced themselves and got right to work. They very efficiently removed the old doors in the sunroom and placed them in their truck for removal. They put in the new doors and made sure the fit was exactly right. After a short lunch break, they took out the upstairs doors and began the replacement process. They were very careful about not damaging the interior or exterior of our home around these doors. They cleaned up thoroughly and we couldnt be more pleased with the new doors and the construction experience. These installers, Eric and Chris, are an asset to Window World.

While the window installs were fine, we were told the wind bourne debri panel for the picture window had to be custom made and it would be delivered and installed in 2 weeks. Not so. They were very dishonest about the time frame now 6 weeks out. We were given two dates for that install but no one ever came. Very poor follow up customer service. We paid the balance in full but as yet only have 90% if what we paid for. Also, two of the windows have already had weather stripping malfunction. Only hope there is not another hurricane before we get these wind bourne debris panels.Would not buy another product from this company in the future eventhough the price was good.

This company DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!!!. Dont waste your time or money with these people because the office staff is not professional. I am sure my file will disappear. They are nice UNTIL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!! Talked with Brad, the owner, and he was going to mail me a copy of the contract. Waited 3 days and called him and he said unless I removed my review, he was not going to mail me a Fing thing. I replied that I had given him ample time to mail the paperwork. He insisted that I take down my review. He stated previously he was a Citadel Graduate. I am appalled that he cussed me with the F word. I asked him this is the kind of language you would be proud of for your 2 young children to hear?. He said they would be proud of me. Brad, the OWNER, (with his wife and 2 young daughters) is NOT the NICE Owner you see on TV!! BEWARE of this company!

Window World replaced all of the windows in a rental house. They were on time, on budget, and cleaned up after themselves. The windows look great and we could not be happier with Window Worlds services!

The staff at Window World was extremely pleasant and helpful. The quality of the window was exceptional with a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them
