If I could put 0 stars I would. I used to love fit focus, until I needed to cancel my membership! I’ve had to try and cancel my membership 3 times now and they’re still charging me after emailing me and saying it was cancelled. Not to mention when I did try to cancel the last time, July 15th, they said it wouldn’t be effective until 9/2 and charged me up until then. They just charged me again yesterday 9/19. Apparently they’ve been screwing other people over that I know as well. They are SKETCHY and have ROBBED me of so much money! I’m furious!

Very friendly and helpful staff! The space has a lot of equipment so even when its busy you can still get in your workout. The womens only area is very nice as well and provides some privacy.

Great place to workout! They have every machine and piece of equipment you can think of. Plus it’s super clean all the time! The staff is very welcoming and it’s easy to get a guest pass if you want to check the place out!!

Fit focus has been a great place to go lift while I have been in Laconia. I recommend it to anyone who is serious about their physical health or their family’s. It has every piece of equipment you can imagine abs provides a great environment for myself and my friends.

Fit focus is a great place to workout. The equipment is top of the line and everyone on the staff is friendly and happy to help. Fit focus not only provides me with a great gym atmosphere but brightens my day overall.

Although I am not a member, I had opertunity to perform some work there. The facility was spacious and large abundant variety of new well maintained equipment. Staff was friendly and constantly cleaning and sanitizing equipment. I do not belong to a gym however this is definitely one I would feel comfortable going too.

Tons of equipment! Friendly staff! My favorite part is that they really care about you! I’m new to the gym and my first personal training session is free! They helped me put a plan together specifically for my goals and budget! Also unlike the completion in the area they have no commitment so your not locked in for a year like at other gyms! Defiantly go tour in person before you Join another gym! They always run great specials!

Ive been a member at a number of gyms over the past 15 years, commercial and crossfit, and Ive never loved a gym atmosphere more than Fit Focus. Always clean, helpful staff, and all the equipment you could ever need.If youre looking for a new gym, definitely give this place a shot! Cant beat the sauna 🔥😍

The gym has everything you need whether you are there to lose weight, get bigger, are a power lifter, athlete etc. Easy to park at with the parking garage, and is open 24/7, which is a huge help if you have a busy schedule. Defiantly the gym to be at in the lakes region.

The best gym I’ve ever been to. The classes are great. The gym’s huge and there’s plenty of equipment. The personal trainers/staff are all nice. The girls locker room and restrooms are great. I love that the showers include soap/shampoo in case you forgot yours. I love working out there. It’s my home gym. Yeahuh

I had a great experience at Fit Focus in downtown Laconia. Plenty of space, lots of equipment, and continuous cleaning by employees. Would absolutely recommend checking out if you are in the Lakes Region looking for a gym.

I made the switch to FitFocus three years ago. It was the best decision I’ve made for my physical and mental health. The equipment is top notch, and the staff are too particularly Tim and Cyndal as they are always more than happy to help anyone and are very personable. Overall, FitFocus Laconia is definitely a 5 star gym.

It’s an awesome gym, full of equipment and tons of weights. The staff is friendly except for the manager, i think her name is Colleen? she’s VERY rude and I feel as if she’s very judgmental when I walk by. Other than her, the gym is nice

I am not new to the workout scene, but I have jumped from gym to gym, never feeling comfortable and stopped after only a few weeks of going. I had heard good things about Fit Focus and decided to look in to it more. That’s when I met trainer Colleen. She saw my uneasiness and made me feel welcomed. That’s the first time I’ve ever felt that walking into a gym. She spent time answering all my questions, letting me know what the gym has to offer and really made me feel like I belonged. She was kind, caring and full of knowledge. She is a great asset to their facility. The gym itself is so up to date, user friendly and CLEAN! Big must in my book. So Fit Focus, you have a great facility and a even better employee in trainer Colleen! Thank you for making me feel so at home!

A very good gym with great trainers.I chose to sign up for 6 months of fitness training with fit focus to help keep me accountable and create a healthier lifestyle. My trainer was Cassie and she was excellent! Cassie is very knowledgeable with all aspects of her training. She taught me correct form, time over tension, and just how to get the most out of my workout. The thing I liked the most about training with Cassie is the level of confidence I gained. During our sessions I didnt feel self-conscious or intimidated, It was just us and I was having fun and getting in shape at the same time. After the 6 months of training I definitely noticed an increase in muscle mass, I had more energy and I had a lot more knowledge on how to make the gym work for me!The gym overall is very nice and clean! There is plenty of space and Im never waiting for a machine. My son loves the daycare and the staff is always very friendly and professional.

Made the switch to Fit focus over a year ago and absolutely love it! Cyndal and the rest of the team are always friendly and helpful at the front desk, plenty of equipment and space for every type of workout 🏋🏻‍♀️Definitely worth it!

By Gary: Excellent gym with lots of terrific equipment thats well-maintained. Ample space. Importantly, the owners/mangers are exceptionally responsive and pleasant. They appear genuinely interested in their patrons experiences at the gym and seem to be constantly looking for ways to improve the gym-going experience. I have direct experience with them purchasing equipment Ive suggested, and they acted on my suggestion to reposition a stretching table. I very much appreciate the welcoming approach these folks take to running their gym.

Not a bad place. Its a bit daunting going from a small, weight lifting gym to a big chain gym where machines are thrown around everywhere. There are signs that resemble the mentality of Planet Fitness but at least theres no lunk alarm. All in all a decent gym.

I enjoy the facilities here much more than my previous planet fitness membership. I enjoy classes with Emily and Colleen who provide a challenging but engaging class and allow for injury modifications.I would really enjoy if the Laconia location with install a juice bar... please.. also please give Emily her own PM spin class. GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!

A great place to work out with much to offer

They continue to bill me after I asked them to cancel my membership months ago. I had to cancel my card get a new one and now they send me bills every month to my email. WATCH OUT. No contract but they continue to bill you as if you have a contract. Illegally billing.

I have been going here since July and I have loved it since day one. I usually bring my two kids with me and the daycare is phenomenal, I have seen it get better since the summer with the addition of a second employee watching the children and my kids are always excited to go. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and make the experience that much more enjoyable. Unlike some gyms I have never seen anyone there trying to intimidate any of the other members, most are just in their zone working out and others are glad to help out with a spot or a question about an excercise.I could not be happier with this gym and its the best I have ever been to.

I love this place. It’s been a total game changer to my lifestyle. Having it open 24/7 is amazing! My kids love the child care and so do I. It’s super affordable, clean, maintained, and full of energy. I love the variety of members age and athletic level. Very welcoming environment.

This gym is clean, bright and open. There is plenty of equipment, lots of free weights, a sauna, and a women’s fitness room. I switched from planet fitness and I’m loving it here at fit focus. There’s child day and a towel service! The classes they have are fun and really push you. Check out the spin classes, Scott and Kate are awesome instructors. The staff is also super friendly and out going!! Great place to workout!

Way better then planet fitness. So much room and the atmosphere here is just amazing. Almost always loose track of the time when working out. I feel so much better working out here then I have anywhere else. They even have a childrens area so parents can work out as well as have a ladies only area to work out. Great staff and over like I said a tremendous place.

I have been going to fit focus for about 8 months now and the gym is outstanding from any other local gym. Also Cassie, Jeremy and staff are great and have given me pointers to better and intensify my workout. This gym and atmosphere are truly next level!!!

Exercising at Fit Focus Laconia has been amazing! I love the bright and energetic atmosphere. The staff is great and I’ve made many new friends here. I love the ladies only area and it connects directly to the ladies locker room. My daughter and I love the children’s play area too. The group exercise instructors and personal trainers are very knowledgeable. The gym is very spacious, clean and an overall great setting to work out in.

I really enjoy this gym. The staff and members are very friendly. Nobody judges you. I signed up for personal training with Cassie and absolutely loved it and love her. Great atmosphere.

Love the gym and the fact it has daycare (no ventilation in the room though, hope there is AC in the summer poor kids 🤔) not many near me have daycare, only thing i wish the actual gym had was a JUICE BAR! It would be perfect if it had that. PLEASE GET ONE! 😁

Ive been working out here for months and its only gotten better. Not only is it the best gym Ive gone to, there are amazing people and great times every week. Hundreds of pieces of equipment so I never have to wait while Im working out. Ive taken a few classes as well and all of them were great. I would recommend to anyone, whether youre a beginner or advanced.

I love Fit Focus! I primarily take the classes and find them to be great workouts, the trainers are conscientious, friendly and inspiring. I am a retired person and recommend this gym to anyone in my age group in addition to younger people. I feel no age or body type discrimination, just positive energy!

Tried this gym out a few months back with a friend and I have to say its a really good gym, excellent equipment, friendly staff, clean facilities, enough space to more than accommodate a large amount of people comfortably, they have stand up tanning, showers and sauna too.. There will be the occasional juiced douche covered in baby oil walking around with invisible watermelons.. But thats to be expected in any gym, and there is enough room to avoid these people.. Definitely recommend if youre in the lakes region to give this place a try, Im sure youll come back

Always a go-to when I’m home visiting! Big, clean gym with new equipment. Clean and spacious locker rooms are always a plus. Knowledgeable and friendly staff - Especially the trainer, Chris! He always goes above and beyond to help anyone and everyone and is a great trainer!

The nicest gym in the area. Plenty of space and you never have to wait to use equipment. The sauna in the locker room is a great way to end any workout and the towel service is very convenient. Plenty of classes to choose from and some of the best staff and trainers. Highly recommend if you are trying to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

I live in Manhattan but stay at my house in Alton for weekend ski trips with my girlfriend. I have been a member at Fit Focus since the grand opening and have been extremely satisfied. Although my girlfriend is in extremely good shape (slightly better shape than me), she loves utilizing the womens only section, plus I dont have to worry about other guys checking her out ;) In all seriousness, the gym is well kept (brand new equipment), the employees are nice and there is every machine I could possibly be looking for. The low initiation and monthly payments make it a great gym for all and I would highly recommend!

Great gym! Switched from planet fitness and I’m very happy. I’ve worked with 2 different trainers Jaran and Jeremy and both are great. Every time i come in i get pushed to work my hardest and get everything out of my workout. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and facilities are always clean. 10/10

Place is very clean and people super nice and easy going. Would like it if they provided free daycare as most of gyms that have them do. They would get more customers that way and also open daycare at 3 instead of 4.

The gym aspect is wonderful, but the childcare is extremely unsafe. I joined because of the childcare - and I will not go unless my husband is home to watch my son which is unfortunate- because I am paying for the highest membership and cannot even use it to its extent. More staff needs to be present in watching the amount of small children they have in there at a time.

I had been going to Planet Fitness for several years until I decided to give Fit Focus a try right before Christmas. I think its safe to say Ill never walk through the doors of Planet Fitness again. This place absolutely blew my socks off. I never have to wait for a treadmill and the free weight area is second to none. Plus there are countless amenities such as the sauna, and tanning (which my wife uses) that make the membership fees seem like pennies on the dollar for what you are receiving. I recently got set up with Jackie, the personal trainer here, and she has been amazing! We went over my goals and she is using a program specialized to me to help hit them. Id also be remiss if I didnt mention that the staff here are incredibly genuine and accommodating to all guests. I highly recommend this gym to anyone living in the area. From beginners to the most advanced lifters, this facility has something for everyone!

Great gym but needs more squat racks and heavier dumbbells. 100lb plates would be very useful for the leg press and alternating grip bars would be great.

I have been working with Chris as a personal trainer. I would say I like him, but that would be the same as saying I like being tortured. He is always telling me what to do and pushing me to do more than I want to do. Oh that’s his job? Well he’s pretty good at it then. Thanks Chris!

Ive been a member since the gym first opened and I could not be more pleased with the facility. Employees are friendly and its always clean. Even when it appears packed from the outside I never have to wait for a machine. I am a HUGE fan of Bekahs fitness classes - she is extremely knowledgeable and motivating. Her classes are for all fitness levels which is even better. The people who attend the classes come in all shapes and sizes and are super supportive of one another. Only complaint would be that I wish they had Yoga on the weekends ;) Maybe soon!

I was in town for Labor Day and needed a gym. This gym had everything I needed, plenty of strength equipment, racks, lots of cardio and it was extremely clean!!!. Kuddos to the staff here!

I have lived all over the US, and this is one of my favorite gyms Ive ever belonged to. I rate my facilities based on:1. cleanliness in which Fit Focus NEVER fails me on, and even though it is the responsibility of each member to clean up after themselves I see staff cleaning the equipment regularly too.2. Atmosphere lets be honest, their ability to cultivate a welcoming, safe atmosphere is Laconia alone is impressive lol.3. Equipment offered and availability everything I could possibly need and then some is offered here with little to no wait, NO WAIT! I love what theyve done with the place and theyve got a member for life with me :)

Fit Focus is a huge gym with multiple weight lifting and aerobic machine areas and duplicate equipment so that you can workout easily even when it is crowded. The front desk staff are friendly, the gym (including the locker room) is super clean, and the equipment is new.

Love this gym im a member and its fantastic it has everything u need to be fit and stay focused good job guys its clean too another good advantage is the tanning and the sauna get hreen membetship and u can bring a friend also anytime u work out for free its a great deal and steal at $30.00 try it out
