Beware! I was quoted $150 on the phone, and then when the guy from Clean and Green Construction came out he said we needed a deep cleaning and it would be $500 (!). This is the first time weve had this service done, so I followed his advice knowing the chimney was big and had not been recently cleaned. Well, the deep cleaning took all of 10 minutes maximum - he used a very small wire brush on the end of drill mounted on an extension pole.When he was done, he said the chimney was absolutely clean and asked me to see for myself. I peered up into the chimney, however it was impossible to see much. We have a large flue which was hard to see past, and Im certain he was unable to thoroughly clean the chimney. He only worked from the bottom and not from the top, on the roof.I subsequently asked someone whod recently had their chimney cleaned and they told me it took at least 30 min to clean theirs and it was cleaned from both top and bottom at a cost of $200! Further online research confirms that this is the norm.When the Clean and Green Construction guy was done, I questioned the price and the brevity of the job. The man was very insulting, accusing me of not appreciating hard work loudly and rudely. I called the office to check on the price and they said theyd have the supervisor call me. Well, guess what. The guy doing the work was the supervisor. He said hed take no less than $400 and continued to rant and rave. I paid the $400, chalking this up to a big mistake on my part. Terribly disappointed and feeling utterly ripped off! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND ADVISE OTHERS TO BEWARE!

I would have given this company no stars if possible. The guy Daniel who came out was rude and pushy and very unprofessional. Said I needed a deep cleaning, the cost would be $350.00. I had been quoted $175.00 on the phone. I asked how long this thorough cleaning would take and he said at least 40 minuets or longer. Since I have never had the chimney swept I trusted his opinion. Big mistake! Equipment was a small drill with a small brush at end. After 10 minutes he said he was done. Said the chimney was perfectly clean. I took one look and the chimney was still very dirty. This job was an obvious attempt at an up sell with no real work done. Not sure where all the great reviews of this company came from but my advise is find another chimney sweep company.
