Extremely unhappy with Suddaths handling of my military move across the country. To start, our items were packed and loaded onto a vehicle by a local moving company, and after being stored in a warehouse, they were not retrieved from that warehouse until 14 days later. Mind you, I have colleagues that moved across the country from NC to CA that had overall shorter moves than this. Next, we continue to be told expected dates that continue to get pushed back day after day. Verbatim, we are told your goods should arrive on date X and should be delivered to your home on date Y, only to find out a few days later that there was no truth to these estimates. Too many times have we gotten our hopes up that we would finally stop sleeping in an air mattress and finally get our bed and couch back. I will stop holding my breath at this point. This has been a never ending saga that has caused extreme inconvenience for me and my family. I have lost all confidence and I wouldnt be surprised if 3 weeks from now they told me all our items are missing. Very unprofessional business. Avoid this company if you can. If DPS assigned them to handle your move, request an alternate company.

Joaquin Guzman was a fantastic contact for us to move from Philadelphia to Palm Desert, CA. He had helped us move from Los Angeles to Philadelphia in the past two years so we were delighted to have him again assist us with all the details. He is attentive, thoughtful incredibly prompt and detail oriented. Joaquin was with us all the way from original survey to final delivery. We had a great experience.

Moving is stressful and hectic, but I was pleased overall with United Van Lines/Suddath. My move was not perfect, but Joaquin Guzman was at coordinating the move. He was there to address everything that required follow up and took on responsibilities that technically belonged to others on his team. He is extremely customer-oriented and a problem solver, which is what I needed for my cross-country move.

My family and I had a great experience with our move from Orange County, CA to Jacksonville, FL. From the start, our move coordination team led by Kate Miley were on top of communication and very responsive. She checked in every step of the way and made sure everything was seamless. Our driver Chris and his crew packed and loaded us promptly, as planned, in the 2 days scheduled. We had our items placed in storage, and delivered over a month later. We got the best service from Bill in Jacksonville and his team of 5 movers. They delivered and unpacked in the same day, and still beat the afternoon rain! Every piece of the move was seamless and executed with planned precision. What a team! Thanks to everyone involved, from the LA office all the way to the teams in Jax. I had SUCH a great experience with Suddath. From the moment I called to ask questions about my upcoming move, everyone there was amazing. They answered all my questions and were so warm and friendly - I knew they were the only company I’d choose to relocate me from Dallas to LA. The packing crew was super friendly and competent. And Hector and his team of movers worked SO HARD to get all my belongings loaded up and shipped to me at my final destination. I have zero complaints about the process and I highly recommend them for a quick and hassle free move!

It was super hot today and they didnt stop or complain once (they had to bring our stuff up a long driveway and stairs - not fun). Im not one to write reviews but this was the best move in the history of moving. Ive never had a good experience with movers, until now. Tom was my coordinator and he went above and beyond to provide my family with exactly what we needed to make this cross country move happen. He was honest, had competitive pricing and checked in regularly. We were the last on the truck and the first off and they got here in record time. Eddie was our driver and oversaw both loading and unloading teams. He was professional, kind and super efficient. Nothing was damaged. That was a first. Very grateful I used Suddath after getting moving bids for 5 different companies. Super happy. Thank you Tom, Mandi and Eddie!

Suddath Relocation Systems in La Mirada donated their time and truck to Food Finders this weekend for the post Office canned food drive. Their driver Marshall Casey was amazing. He went above and beyond making boxes, unloading postal carrier trucks, sorting food and boxing food. We finished loading four pallets of food onto his truck about 8:30pm, he then drove to the North Long Beach post office loaded their six pallets and then unloaded at our Food Finders warehouse. It was 10pm when they were done. He was a blessing. Thank you

International move, USA to France: all went exactly as scheduled, not a problem whatsoever. Nothing lost, nothing broken, nothing/nobody late, no surprise last minute extra-cost. Exceptional packing and delivery crews. I had made sure to spell out all of my needs and requirements clearly and precisely before I signed contract (make sure you do that, get it in writing) and they delivered. A+

We had a wonderful experience with Suddath and Zane Anderson. We built a house and Suddath moved us out of our old house and stored our belongings for 3 years. When the house was finished, Suddath moved us back into the house. They were efficient, professional, and reasonably priced. We would recommend Suddath for any of your moving needs.

Everything went very well with my Suddath move. I would like to give the crew a five star recommendation as they were some of the most precise and capable movers I have ever had the chance of working with. I have moved internationally 2x once from US to Singapore and again from Singapore to London. Military beware! I am also skeptical of all of the rave reviews for this company. However, the military chose this moving company to complete our relocation. This could be the reason for such poor service and communication due to the fact that Suddath will get paid either way regardless of the service experience and company performance. Today, it has been over three weeks since our items were taken from our home in Pensacola Florida with a San Diego area destination. Half of our things have been delivered and we have no idea (not even a rough estimation) of when the rest of our HHGs will be delivered. Over this time we have placed numerous call to our representative and have only gotten to speak with her ONE time. Still no clue as to when our items will be coming. EVERY time we call, we receive voicemail promising a call back by 5pm but why even bother making that promise? When we did speak with rep she said we would have an easier time communicating with her via email - she asked for our email address and said she would send us an email so that we had hers... that email never came. If all of these 5 star reviews are indeed accurate, it leaves me with the impression that this company only treats Military movers in this way. Especially when the only other poor review is also from another service member. So if you are military and they have chosen Suddath to complete your move, strap in for a most frustrating time and be prepared to feel like all of your HHGs dont matter to anyone there.

Another great experience with this professional company. This is the 3rd time weve used Suddath twice for company relocation and this most recent one for our retirement location. We chose not to compare with others because we were confident we would receive a fair deal and great service again and we were not disappointed. Tom Petersen our coordinator was great. Provided us with different options and we were able to save a lot of money. Mike, our driver, loader, unloader, and crew were great and took good care of our goods. Brenda Irlanda our other coordinator kept us up-to-date with the movement. All of them, kept us abreast of every detail. When we had a problem or question, they were their to handle it without hesitation. Very professional and courteous company representatives. Recommend them to everyone making a move.

There is excellent communication on all levels and they are way ahead regarding public relations and company integrity. December 29, 2017State of the art, but super-tight for getting in and out with your big rig. Beware the space you have, or become an accident. No layovers here, rather go to the La Mirada Holiday Inn just a couple of blocks north.

Terrible service. Emails were ignored as well as messages left after calls were not answered. Took weeks to get feedback from customer service. Made a report on personal items being destroyed just to be denied because Mechanical and Electronic devices have an indeterminable service life and are susceptible to parts failure at any time.

Awful. Had to call several times to try to get some help just for an estimate. Explained in detail all the items I’d need to have moved and at the very end, they said they couldn’t get anyone out in time for the estimate. A waste of my time. Don’t bother.

Ive used Suddath twice now and I had a great experience both times. I highly recommend them.

Horrible communications and service. My family moved from Florida to California - our HHGs were supposed to go door to door. Half of our items arrived as expected and 3.5 weeks later, we have had zero update from Suddath regarding the whereabouts or ETA of the other half of our household goods. This is despite several phone calls placed to Suddath and voicemails left for our Move Coordinator, Chaquita Alexander.

Absolutely awful. Avoid. They showed up on the DAY OF THE MOVE and left without doing anything. The head guy stormed through my house complaining about everything the from the width of the doors to access. After they trampled the back garden 10 minutes into unloading their truck, I spoke to the head guy on the job decided I set an expectation level for the day, verbally. They promptly left.I cant tell you how bad a feeling I got when they walked through the door in the morning. I found out later this type of thing is pretty common. When they showed up an hour early, they had no intention of doing this job since they already had another one lined up and they left. We were lucky and found another company in an hour.

This moving company in LA is top notch. They know what they are doing and are very helpful.
